Study on Interior Environment Design of Incheon International Airport Railroad Station in a Way of Environment Recognition Approach (환경 인지적 접근에 의한 인천국제 공항철도 역사시설 환경설계에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to demonstrate the relationship between the results of the analysis of the overseas railroad station buildings, which was conducted using the factors of environmental cognition for the purpose of designing an interior environment for the Incheon International Airport Railroad station that will be newly constructed, and the plan that could be applied to the design of interior environment for the airport railroad station. The station with a complex interior space layout and relatively larger space tends to be difficult to predict or forecast passenger's needs or recognition element in approaching stage of intoner environment design since the human's biological memory system is greatly affected by such factors. Cognitive approach at empirical standpoint would possibly create the design, of which elements will Implement the functions of their own as such approach enables necessary information to be structured in a systematical way and manner In implementing interior environment design for such stations to be built for the first time in Korea, behavioral approach based on systematic theory proved to be very crucial. Under such a background, the study was aimed at extracting the assessment elements for interior environment design, then setting the frame of cognitive approach to eventually propose the guideline in approaching to interior environment design.

  • This research is a byproduct of a project initiated by a major airport in Korea. The airport aimed to enhance airside safety and weighed a few IT options that may strengthen its current safety practices. In order to satisfy requirements unique to the airport and to inherit existing legacy systems, a PCS-based mobile database system was proposed. We first discuss technical aspects of the system as well as design issues in mobile systems before we compare two specific alternatives for transactional service handoff. A simulation study comparing two types of coordination follows before we present a scheme that manages transaction processing and locating service in mobile environments. Finally, we discuss the limitations of the scheme from the perspectives of the airport in question along with other research issues.

  • Many domestic companies have connections with social enterprise as one of the corporate social responsibility. However, majority of those connections are typically occasional, one-time donation. Therefore, current study focused on how to develop/nurture sustainable business model of social economy, which utilizes the companies' internal resources enabling communities to actually feel the impact. Literature survey for 25 reports and 123 business models for the past 5 years was performed and analyzed in terms of social-economy business models and job creation. It was found that the success factors of the job creation are: internal resources analysis, business model development, and support activities for execution (probono). Based upon the findings, DIDOV (Define-Identify-Design-Optimize-Verify) methodology was used to understand the effects of government policies and technological environment. As an exemplary case, Incheon International airport Corporation was selected and investigated for internal resources and related business models. Finally, 9 social-economy business models are derived for Incheon International airport Corporation in relation to the airport services offered.

  • 본 연구는 중국의 WTO 가입 이후 시장규모 확대에 따라 동북아지역 국가들이 자국의 역할 선점과 경쟁력 확보를 위해 취하고 있는 항공화물운송부문의 시설운영과 전략추진 방향을 살펴봄으로써 우리나라의 항공 화물 운송 산업이 보다 경쟁력 있는 산업으로 역할과 제 기능을 다 할 수 있도록 하는데 목적이 있다. 장래 동북아지역 한 · 중 · 일 3국간 항공화물운송부문의 경쟁은 치열할 것으로 예상되는 반면, 국가 간 협력체제 구축도 필요한 시점이다. 지난 몇 년 동안 3국간은 협력체제 구축을 논의했지만, 가시적인 성과가 없는 현 시점에서 보면 보다 전향적인 발상을 기반으로 하는 접근방식이 필요할 것으로 판단된다. 역내운송의 완전 자유화 특히, 항공화물운송 자유화나 공항 운영 주체들 간 지역 내 제휴를 검토해 볼 필요가 있다. 이와 함께 중국, 일본 등의 공항과 항공화물 운송정보 공유, 기술개발과 표준화, 인적교류, 항공사 유치의 공동노력 등과 같은 제휴를 통해 역내 공항 네트워크를 구축하기 위한 방안은 반드시 협의되고, 추진될 필요가 있는 사안이다. 우리 내부적으로는 21세기를 대비한 보다 구체적이고 실천적인 항공화물운송부문의 ‘master plan' 수립과 함께 항공화물운송 주체인 항공사, 화주, 포워더 등 이용자 중심의 비용절감 방안과 항공화물 기반시설의 차질 없는 추진, 항공화물 정보화 등 편리하고 저렴한 운송체계와 처리절차를 수립이 요구된다.

  • In Korea, most of the land area is composed of mountainous areas, making it difficult to develop airports because there is not enough open space to operate airports or airfields. However, the current development of the air transportation industry and the rapid increase of aviation demand, the construction of the training airfield infrastructure should be more actively reviewed for safe and smooth flight training. In this study, we analyze the actual condition of operation of domestic training airfield and the case study of overseas training site in order to establish appropriate level standard model of training infrastructures. In addition, this study suggests implications for the appropriate scale and operational efficiency of the training flight infrastructure.

  • 유럽연합(EU)은 2012년부터 항공산업에 대해 탄소배출권 거래제도를 적용할 예정이다. 따라서 유럽공항에서 출발 및 도착하는 모든 국제선과 국내선 항공편에 대해 탄소세가 부과될 것이며 이는 한국도 예외는 아니다. 또한 유럽을 운항하는 경우 장거리에 해당되어 중단거리를 운항하는 항공기들에 비해 총 탄소배출량이 더 많으므로 비용부담이 커질 것으로 예상된다. 본 연구는 EU-ETS로 인한 탄소세가 항공요금에 반영된다면 항공여객들이 어느 정도 민감하게 반응할 것이며 이러한 점들이 궁극적으로 한국의 항공시장에 어떤 영향을 미칠 것인지를 파악해 보는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 인천국제공항에서 프랑크푸르트 국제공항 노선을 이용하는 승객을 대상으로 직항노선과 중동지역 경유노선을 비교하여 EU-ETS 가격이 반영된 항공요금에 대한 반응을 Revealed Preference (RP)와 Stated Preference (SP) 설문자료와 Logit Model을 사용하여 분석하였다. 본 연구결과는 한국의 항공산업은 물론 2012년부터 부과될 EU-ETS에 대한 항공사들의 전략개발에 도움이 될 것이다.

  • Building Information Modeling(BIM) technology continues to develop and is now being applied to infrastructure facilities. As smart technology based on BIM is applied to the construction industry, the construction of the same data in a common environment is considered to be a very important step in various applications. This study was conducted on methods to establish an open BIM-based airport facility information common data environment. Therefore, this study develops the element technology to establish a common data environment for the integrated management of airport facility information, and aims to standardize data in the common data environment among various technologies and applications. In order to achieve the aim, in this study, the required technologies were derived by examining the common data environment and examining the civil engineering facility field and the case of integrated airport facility management. Through this, standards and development for information standard framework, information requirement level, BIM guidebook, and BIM library were developed in connection with national and higher standards. Through these standards, it is expected that the integrated management of various airport facilities will be efficiently carried out through a standard data platform in the future.

A Study on the Analysis Method of Noise Standard Reflecting Aircraft Performance according to Flight Condition - Focusing on A330-300 at Gimpo International Airport - (비행조건에 따른 항공기 성능을 반영한 소음기준 분석방법 연구 - A330-300 항공기와 김포국제공항을 중심으로 -)

  • In an effort to reduce aircraft noise, noise abatement areas are designated and notified, and noise abatement procedures are implemented. However, residents in noise abatement areas are increasingly complaining about the increase in noise, and airlines are exceeding the criteria for noise. In this study, A330-300 airplane set flight conditions that are predicted to generate the most noise when taking off 32 runway at Gimpo International Airport, and predicted the noise as the NPD curve of the INM and AEDT programs. As a result of the analysis, it was considered that the noise at a specific point would generate higher noise than the noise criteria. Therefore, to avoid exceeding aircraft noise criteria at a particular point, supplementing the departure procedures by reflecting aircraft performance under flight conditions would reduce complaints from both airlines and local residents.
