Under the big rush of technology commercialization education in engineering school, this paper is prepared to craft a model of Engineering-based Technology Commercialization Education. First, this paper diagnose main issues relating to technology commercialization education in engineering school pegging by literature review. Second, this paper define an effective technology commercialization education system for engineering school. Third, this paper carries comparing study between an effective technology commercialization education system and technology commercialization education system currently introducing in Korea.

본 논문은 창의성교육 프로그램 개발 방향으로 창업교육에 대한 실행방안을 연구 및 기획한 논문이다. 창업의 현황과 문제점을 토대로 교육프로그램 개발하고 공학교육의 창의적 능력 및 정보기획과 분석력 개발교육을 통해 공학교육의 질 제고를 위한 새로운 모델을 제시하고 있다. 본연구의 기초는 공학인증프로그램의 설계교과과정의 내실화가 기본바탕을 이루고 있으며, 교육과정에 추가되는 softskill의 활용도 아울러 요구되고 있다. 특히 설계교과과정의 정점을 이루고 있는 캡스톤디자인(종합설계교과목) 교육성과의 활용도를 적극 활용할 수 있는 기회를 제공하고 있다.

공학교육을 대학에 있어서의 교육이라고 생각할 때 먼저 그것은 한국의 대학교육의 일반적인 문제점을 그대로 반영하고 있는것은 물론이다. 즉, 대부분의 공학계대학은 종합대학교의 일개 단과대학 또는 학부로서 획일적인 여건에 직면하고 있으며, 의학교육등보다도 그 특수성이 인정되지 못하고 있는 것이 현실이다. 즉 의과대학의 의학과는 법적으로는 일학과에 부족하지만 부속병원등을 갖는 특례가 인정되고 교수수, 예산 및 학사운영에 있어서도 다른 대학에 비하여 특수성이 인정되고 있어서 어느 정도 충분한 교육 및 연구를 할 수 있고 의학교육을 위하여는 상당한 준비와 뒷받침을 하여야 된다는 것이 상식으로 되어 있으나 공학교육에 있어서는 아직도 그렇지 못하다. 결론적으로 더 충실한 공학교육의 강화를 위하여는 정부 및 산업계의 과격한 투자, 참여 및 황경, 처우의 개선등으로 실력을 갖춘 공학계학생들에게 희망을 주도록 하는 동시에 대학측의 적극적인 자세가 아쉽다고 하겠다.

An engineering educational survey for graduating seniors had been conducted in Myong Ji university to improve engineering program objectives, outcomes and curriculums. The collected data have been analyzed statistically based on 11 outcomes of the ABEEK accredited criteria to know how much students are satisfied with the current engineering education. The analysis results show that the current engineering educational objectives need to be modified to satisfy the ABEEK accredited criteria and engineering curriculum restructuring is necessary to include more design courses.

In the regular evaluation of engineering education accreditation, there should be almost no deficiencies in the program educational objectives, but they are occurring frequently. From the regular evaluation in 2021, the second deficiency is judged as conditional certification. This paper presents an example of the application of the program education goal adequacy review system considering changes in the social environment with a relatively low understanding of educational goal setting while preparing for the engineering education certification system and certification evaluation. In addition, application cases are presented focusing on the certification criteria, engineering education certification judgment guide, and self-study report form for the linkage application between detailed certification criteria in revising and improving educational goals.

The accreditation system for engineering technology programs has not been carried out in this country. For need of accreditation for engineering technology programs and development of evaluation criteria, we need analyses of accreditation procedures, rules and evaluation criteria. So we researched accreditation system and evaluation criteria with countries. These are signatories to the Sydney Accord under which approved engineering technology programs. Accreditation procedures and evaluation criteria are characteristic of the each countries which carried out accreditation system. We have to introduce accreditation system and develop evaluation criteria in our manner for advancing our engineering technology education of community college.
