Enhancement of Durability of Dimensionally Stable Anode for High-rate Electroplating Applications (고속 전기도금용 불용성 전극의 내구성 향상에 관한 연구)

  • 불용성 전극이 고속 전기도금 공정에 사용되기 위해서는 전기화학 반응이 우수하고, 높은 내구성을 가져야 한다. 불용성 전극의 내구성은 기지층 표면전처리, 금속산화물 조성, 코팅층 두께, 소결 온도 등 다양한 전극제조 공정인자들에 의해 영향을 받는다. 본 연구에서는 불용성 전극의 내구성을 향상시키기 위해 전극 전처리 및 백금족 산화물 조성비의 공정변수로 전극을 제조하였고, 가속수명평가법을 사용하여 전극의 내구성을 평가하였다. 고속 전기도금 공정환경에서는 이리듐(Ir)계 및 탄탈륨(Ta)계 산화물 조성을 가지는 불용성전극의 내구수명이 우수한 경향을 나타내었으며, 귀금속 산화물 코팅층 두께가 얇을수록 불용성전극의 내구수명은 크게 저하되었다. 또한, Ir-Ta 조성 불용성전극의 경우 내구성 향상 기지체 표면전처리를 통해 전극의 내구수명이 10배 이상 향상되었음을 확인하였다.

  • This is a study of small & venture business ethical management on finance performance. We cheesed 200 venture company or pre-venture company and surveyed. The indexes of ethical management consisted of CEO's intend fur ethical management, fairness, That is developed by The Institute for Industrial Policy Studies and used to assess big business company. The dependent variable is fiscal net profit. We analyzed the correlation and regression. The finding is that the fairness is the major factor.

  • W CMP 공정에서 abrasive 의 size 및 shape 에 따른 CMP 거동에 대해 관찰하였으며, 주요 제거 막질인 W 막질과 stopping layer 로 사용되는 Oxide 막질에 대한 압력(P)과 상대 속도(V) 영향성을 관찰하였다. CMP 제거량이 입자의 size 변화에 의존한다는 기존의 이론과는 달리 응집도(aggregate ratio) 변화가 주요 변수임을 밝혀 내었다. 한편, 각 막질에 대한 P,V 영향성 평가를 통해, 변형된 Prestonian equation 이 abrasive size 및 shape 에 상관없이 W 막질의 제거 거동을 설명하는데 중요한 역할을 수행함을 보였다. 그렇지만, W CMP 공정에서 stopping layer 로 사용되는 oxide 막질의 거동을 설명하는 데에는 어려움이 있었으며, 특히 P,V 에 의한 비선형적 removal rate(RR) 거동발생으로 인해 기존의 이론치와는 많은 차이를 나타내었다. 또한, abrasive size 와 shape 에 따라서도 복잡한 거동을 나타낸다.

Evaluation of Kinetic Constant and Effect of Effluent Recycling in Wastewater Treatment from Fisheries Processing Plant using EMMC Process (EMMC공정을 이용한 수산물 가공공장 폐수처리에서 동력학적 인자 평가와 유출수반송의 영향)

  • EMMC(Entrapped Mixed Microbial Cell) process which is a kind of active cell immobilizing method was applied to treat fisheries processing wastewater biologically. Kinetic constants were calculated for organic and nitrogen removal and effect of effluent recycling on system performance was evaluated also. Yield coefficient, Y showed relatively low value compared with Y value obtained from conventional activated sludge process. It means that EMMC process can reduce amount of excess sludge significantly compared with conventional activated sludge process. Endogenous respiration coefficient $k_e$ of EMMC process also showed relatively low value compared with that of conventional activated sludge process. Yield coefficient Y, endogenous respiration coefficient $k_e$ and half saturation constant $k_s$ obtained from EMMC process in terms of nitrification were compared with reported value from literature based on suspended growth nitrification system. The value of Y obtained from this study has no difference compared with values obtained from literature review and $k_e$ of this study was low but $k_s$ of this study was high compared than values obtained from suspended growth nitrification system. To evaluate the effect of internal recycling on system performance, system was operated with internal recycling ratio of 1.5Q, 2.0Q, 2.5Q and 3.0Q. increase of internal recycling ratio effect more greatly on improvement of denitrification efficiency than that of nitrification efficiency. Accordingly, optimization of internal recycling ratio has to be based on improvement of anoxic reactor performance.

  • Construction project has various effective factor and many producer in multifarious process of the work. Thus it has many variation. However, Process management up to now is management method of conclusion oriented. So, it do not consider sequency and variation occurrence. In a result that a lot of problems happen. Lean Construction can solve limit of the present management method. And Lean Construction is estimated new management method of process management for reliance on process plan, safety of process and promotion of effectiveness. This study analysed application of real construction project in Lean Construction theory and examined to utilize VSM and TACT for field application.

  • OSP(organic solderability preservatives) finish has been considered as a very effective process for substituting the metal surface treatment of Ni/Au finish because of lower cost, interface property and environmental issue of OSP finish. However, the discoloration of OSP layer is formed during assembly process consisting of various steps of temperature. The causes of discoloration and the characterization of solder joint were investigated with a degree of discoloration and the assembly process of OSP finished products, which was also compared statistically with that of conventional Ni/Au finished products. As the results, the solution of process trouble for OSP finished products is able to be offered.

  • The Critical Path Method(CPM) is an effective tool used for planning and scheduling. One of strong point in the CPM is what can calculate float. Float is able to prolong without having an effect on overall schedule of project, however concept and scope about ownership is not definite, because it is a by-product of project. Thus participants have had many dispute in using float because of their interests. In recent years, a few theories have evolved in an attempt to solve this problem. But the prior research did not make a reasonable distribution of float because their criteria of distribution was based on ratio for total project time. Actually, an application of float is achieved by participant's delay risk. Therefore. this paper proposes criteria for float distribution using delay risks, and the framework for the assessment of the delay risks.

  • It is a serious task to the decommissioning of the uranium conversion plant that the demolition of the lagoon sludge. The main component of the sludge is ammonium nitrate and that is the very explosive material. Therefore, the bio-denitrification is a attractive process to remove the nitrate. In this work, some process variables was tested such as incubation temperature, nitrate concentration, electron donor, C/N ratio, seeding ratio, and pH with an anaerobic bacteria as Pseudomonas halodenitrificans. The results would be used as basic data to the continuous bio-denitrification process.

Process Evaluation of Soil Washing Including Surfactant Recovery by Mathematical Simulation (계면활성제 재사용을 포함한 토양 세척 공정의 전산모사 평가)

  • A surfactant recovery and reuse process by selective adsorption with activated carbon was proposed to reduce surfactant cost in a soil washing process. Mathematical model simulation was performed for the whole process, which consists of soil washing, soil recovery, and soil re-washing. The optimal range of surfactant dosage was $6{\sim}10$-fold critical micelle concentration in soil. The efficiency of surfactant reuse process was decreased with increasing the dosage of activated carbon. Effectiveness factor for activated carbon significantly altered the efficiency of the reuse process unlike effectiveness factor for soil. Total requirement of surfactant was reduced to 20-30% with the reuse process compared to the conventional soil washing process. The contamination of wastewater after soil washing was reduced with the reuse process. This mathematical model can be used to estimate performance of the whole process of soil washing including surfactant recovery and to obtain optimal ranges of operating conditions without extra labor-intensive experimental works.

  • A quantitative risk assessment and consequence analysis for PBL(Poly Butadiene Latex) reaction processes were performed. As a result of the Quantitative risk assessment, for the accident probability of PBL reactors causing a reaction runaway, was calculated as $9.197{\times}10^{-5}/yr$ The most important factor that affected the accident probability of PBL reactor was the relief device. When the reactor exploded, peak overpressure at the target point was $5.066{\times}10^5(Pa)$ and the range of effects windows to be broken occurred in almost all of the factory areas. The maximum radius of effect was 27m, in which workers could be die by the direct for eardrum damage was calculated at 77m. When the PBL reactor exploded, the extent of structural damage to buildings was calculated from the center of the explosion to a range of 52m. The results of the study's assessment have provided a direction for facility's improvement as well as effective safety investment.
