  • There has been a growing interest in automation of factories in the country. And, the development in this regard has been actively attempted. In particular, on the basis of the "innovation 3.0 strategy of manufacturing industry", interest in the smart of the manufacturing plant of small and medium-sized enterprises has increased rapidly. As well as policy for building smart plant, technical, seeking a strategic approach. But, in order to introduce such a smart plant or factory automation systems, manufacturing plant security with vulnerability and personal information protection problems, it should always be top priority there. Accordingly, we provide the applicable lightweight secure protocols in RFID communication. It is a wireless communication technology that is most often introduced for factory automation. Our proposed lightweight secure protocol in this study, less the number of calculations in comparison with the existing public key-based and the symmetric key encryption algorithm. And it is fast in compare with the existing protocol. Furthermore, we design that it system can support to low power consumption and small consume the memory size.

PLC symbol naming rule for auto generation of Plant model in PLC simulation (PLC 시뮬레이션에서 Plant model 자동 생성을 위한 PLC Symbol 규칙)

  • Proposed in the paper is an automated procedure to construct a plant model for PLC simulation. Since PLC programs only contain the control logic without the information on the plant model, it is necessary to build the corresponding plant model to perform simulation. Conventionally, a plant model for PLC simulation has been constructed manually, and it requires much efforts as well as the in-depth knowledge of simulation. As a remedy for the problem, we propose an automated procedure to generate a plant model from the symbol table of a PLC program. To do so, we propose a naming rule for PLC symbols so that the symbol names include enough information on the plant model. By analyzing such symbol names, we extract a plant model automatically. The proposed methodology has been implemented, and test runs were made.

  • High-power semiconductor devices and microprocessors in factory electrical installation so sensitive to power quality measurements such as harmonic currents, voltage fluctuations, flicker, current imbalance. Therefore, the little change of power quality can influences the productivity of factory electrical machines. Troubleshooting these problems requires accurate measurements and analysis of power quality with monitoring instruments that can effectively locate issues and identify solutions. In this paper, the author presents hand-held power quality monitoring system to locate issues and identify solutions. The proposed system consists of two parts, One is to develop hand-held power meters by using NI(National Instrument) DAQ(Data Acquisition) and WLAN. Another is develop power quality monitoring MMI(Man-Machine Interface) using LabView software. To demonstrate the validity of the proposed algorithm, variable tests are carried out.

  • Smart factory of Manufacturing sector is rapidly spreading, globally. In case of domestic, it is on going based on KOSF. It is neither lack of invest nor security of information due to it has been spread from manufacturing sector. Hence, that's very difficult to efficiency prevent from new type of intimidation and security accident happened sometimes from this situation. According to research information security condition with recognized new menace, there is a most efficient way is provide education of information security without any extra budget to safely spread smart factory. Thus, this study of research has developed security awareness training curriculum from international standard, requirement of the industry, and curriculum of educational institution based on NCS (National Competency Standard). It is be very helpful to spread smart factory safely due to expert group has been test of validity.

  • The advent of information communication technology or the Fourth Industrial Revolution facilitated the fusion of equipment and management systems, such as Manufacturing Execution System, Enterprise Resource Planning, and Product Lifecycle Management, in the successful implementation of smart factories. The government supports the early adoption of these systems in small and medium companies to enhance their global competitiveness in producing products that can be recognized in a dramatically changing manufacturing environment. This study introduces smart factories to improve company competitiveness and address influences from the government assistance, CEO leadership, external consultancy, and organizational participation. We analyzed 101 results received from the questionnaires circulated to small- and medium-sized manufacturing companies. Given a successful smart factory implementation, company competitiveness is the factor that mostly influences organizational participation, government assistance, external consultancy, and CEO leadership. This study suggests several perspectives to implement a smart factory, which is the most important aspect of company competitiveness.

  • 이 글에서는 반도체 공장 미진동에 영향을 미치는 여러요인과 전파경로 그리고 방진대책에 대하여 소개하였다. 현재 국내에서는 극히 부분적으로 연구가 진행되고 있으나 대부분 실험실 차원에 머무르고 있는 실정이다. 앞으로는 현재 진행중인 국내의 반도체 공장건설 및 기기설치와 관련하여 현장 진동 data를 축적할 필요가 있으며 산업체와의 공동협조를 통해서 연구차원뿐만 아니라 현장 적용측면 까지 확대되어야 한다고 생각한다.

  • 생물공정의 개념을 단백질, 탄수화물, 지방등의 생물질을 동물, 식물, 미생물의 자원으로부터 생산하기 위한 과정의 집합체로 정의 한다면 매우 광범위하며 이에 대해 본 고에서와 같이 작은 글에서 논한다는 것은 불가능에 가깝다 하겠다. 더욱이 생물공정을 산업화하기 위한 공장설계의 단계로 넘어간다면 예를 들어 한정된 경우에 대해 설명할 수 밖에 없겠다. 따라서 본 고에서 재조합 단백질의 정제 공정과 이것의 공정설계에 있어 고려할 점을 논술함으로써 생물공정과 공장설계의 한 단면을 조감하였으면 한다.
