Outage Analysis and Optimal Power allocation for Network-coding-based Hybrid AF and DF (네트워크 코딩 기반의 협력통신에서 Hybrid AF and DF 방식의 아웃티지 성능 분석 및 최적 파워 할당 기법)

  • Network coding was proposed to increase the achievable throughput of multicast in a network. Recently, combining network coding into user cooperation has attracted research attention. For cooperative transmission schemes with network coding, users combine their own and their partners messages by network coding. In previous works, it was shown that adaptive DF with network coding can achieve diversity gain and additional throughput gain. In this paper, to improve performance of conventional protocols and maximize advantage of using network coding, we propose a new network coding based user cooperation scheme which uses adaptively amplify-and-forward and decode-and-forward according to interuser channel status. We derive outage probability bound of proposed scheme and prove that it has full diversity order in the high SNR regime. Moreover, based on the outage bound, we compute optimal power allocation for the proposed scheme.

  • CR technology is an intelligent technology which can sense the spectrum environment an adaptively adjust the parameters for wireless transmission. In this paper, by using CR-UWB, the spectrum efficiency of the transmission channel is largely improved; Furthermore, the interference to other system can be effectively avoided. In this paper, we propose a solution on interference problem of UWB system using cognitive radio. We use interference temperature model of cognitive radio that has proposed by FCC for estimating interference signal. Calculating channel capacity of UWB system with interference temperature, we suggest how to solve interference problem. We have used genetic algorithm in cognitive engine's calculation precess. The proposed UWB System with cognitive radio shows very efficient in solving interference problem.

  • Currently, different medical institutions have been carrying out the e-healthcare system project. The system includes electronic medical record and prescription delivery system, and, the Medical Treatment law permits electronic signature for medical record management, which reduced the relevant costs and enabled sharing medical record. And medical solution using online certificates is expanding its application. In that light, the role of certificates became more important than ever. However, in contrast to active effort made to manage personal certificates, certificates related to medical solutions and other types of work are not being managed properly. Most work-related certificates are saved in office computers, which makes them vulnerable to various security threats. Although certificate servers can be used as a solution to this problem, hospitals must build the server separately and, therefore, small and medium-size hospitals can be reluctant to bear the burden. This study proposed a way to design and implement an effective and secure certificate management system by save the certificate file as a BLOB, using existing resources without needing to build a separate certificate server, at minimized costs.

An Efficient Hardware Implementation of Lightweight Block Cipher LEA-128/192/256 for IoT Security Applications (IoT 보안 응용을 위한 경량 블록암호 LEA-128/192/256의 효율적인 하드웨어 구현)

  • This paper describes an efficient hardware implementation of lightweight encryption algorithm LEA-128/192/256 which supports for three master key lengths of 128/192/256-bit. To achieve area-efficient and low-power implementation of LEA crypto- processor, the key scheduler block is optimized to share hardware resources for encryption/decryption key scheduling of three master key lengths. In addition, a parallel register structure and novel operating scheme for key scheduler is devised to reduce clock cycles required for key scheduling, which results in an increase of encryption/decryption speed by 20~30%. The designed LEA crypto-processor has been verified by FPGA implementation. The estimated performances according to master key lengths of 128/192/256-bit are 181/162/109 Mbps, respectively, at 113 MHz clock frequency.

  • It's about time we had to think an alternative to recover out insufficient fishery market caused by IMF locally as well as the fishery agreement on Japan and China. The Ministry of Maritime Affairs & Fisheries have planning the advancing fishery information integrated system for the fishing present condition, marine resource administration and applicability consideration. The fishery information communication system is build up to the raw data & process-network-content. The communication system must be small size, low cost and adapted SSB transceiver, that is using fishery shipping. In this paper We present digital data communication network to exchange information for fishery and safety between fishing ship and coast station in cheeper communication fee using SSB(single Side Band) in HF(High Frequency) band.

  • Before Industry 4.0, a purpose of manufacturing processes is simply overcoming the weakness of product line. However, Industry 4.0 should determine its method of work of facilities' own accord. Manufacturing processes such as FMS, AMS, MAS have been developed in these procedures, but there are possibilities of deadlock that can be happened for the reason of machine, agent or resource sharing. There were many studies to solve this problem. However, studies about prevention of deadlock happened in the situation that manufacturing processes are reconfigured dinamically because of human's intervention are incomplete. This paper proposes the model of the situation reconfigured dinamically and the method to prevent the deadlock in this situation. The proposed method adjusts production and manufacturing time by broadcasting time error messages to machines around when the manufacturing time of machine intervened by human is changed. Through this, it is anticipated to prevent the deadlock if conditions of the product line are changed.

  • Stateless computing supports a mobility of computing environment easily. It is becoming a major technology for securing personal user's information on shared computing environment. With the advance of virtualization technology and cloud computing, stateless computing is an essential part of personal computing environment connectivity (user's setting and data is stored in remote server or some storage, and it can be restored at any computing environment) In this paper, we propose uPC player that supports stateless computing execution environment on Windows. uPC player provides Windows operating system to user by using an uPC OS virtualization module. In this paper, we leverage how uPC player is designed and implemented for supporting a stateless computing execution environment. uPC player provides a desktop switch between host-system execution environment and uPC virtual execution environment. And it needs just one second for loading uPC virtual execution environment by using OS virtualization-based technique.

  • With the development of modern society, we are all living in a world where information is shared through mass media and environment. Just as there was an identifier for the approach of information in the past analog environment, there is a demand for the continuous development and research of an original identifier for each and every digital contents of the changing digital environment. In order to present the need for standardization of effective construction concerning digital contents, this study examines the identifiers system structure of ISBN and ISSN of the analog environment and URL, URN, URC, which are under the URI system of the digital environment. After analyzing the problems of different URL identifiers construction in each university library's OPAC system, this study presents a standard device of effective identifiers patterns.

  • Several researches have been proposed to formalize the knowledge preconditions problem - j.e., an action or a plan is epistemically feasible. However, since the feasibility is only checked at design-time and is assumed that it will also 1)e feasible at run-time, it is not suitable in the context of Semantic Web services composition, where many agents should share the limited resources required for the execution of Web services composition. Therefore, in this paper, we formalize a transactionally executable Web services composition which enables to guarantee its atomicity. Moreover, in order to formalize the transactional executability, we propose $TL-ALCFK_{NF}$ which extends TL-ALCF with the modal operators K and A. Based on $TL-ALCFK_{NF}$, we show how to carry out the epistemic reasoning with TL-ALCF as a language to represent Semantic Web services composition.

  • 호스트와 타겟 간의 통신 부담과 타겟 자원이 제한적이라는 문제를 해결하기 위해서, 호스트 중심 원격 개발 환경(Remote Development Environment: RDE)을 구성하였다. 이 원격 개발 환경은 여러 개발 도구로 구성되어 있는데, 이들 도구가 타겟시스템에 접속하여 내장형 응용를 개발하는데 있어서 공통 기능, 공통 데이터가 존재한다. 그런데 이들을 각각 유지시키는 것은 타겟시스템에 부담을 줄 뿐만 아니라, 개발 도구를 추가/구현하는 것도 매우 어렵게 한다. 이 문제를 해결하기 위해 원격 개발 도구들의 공통 요소들을 모아 도구와 타겟시스템 사이에 중개자 역할을 하는 타겟관리자를 둔다. 타겟관리자는 미들웨어로서 호스트와 타겟 간의 통신 채널을 하나로 유지하면서 도구와 타겟 간의 통신을 중재하고, 도구들이 심볼 테이블을 공유할 수 있도록 심볼 테이블을 관리한다. 또한, 타겟에 있는 도구 전용 메모리를 관리하며, 호스트 상에서 개발한 내장형 소프트웨어를 타겟에 로딩하는 일을 처리한다. 이러한 타겟관리자를 사용하는 원격 개발 환경은 도구들에게 공통 인터페이스를 제공하여, 통신 방식 등의 하부 구조에 상관없이 서비스를 받을 수 있고, 새로운 도구를 추가하는 것도 용이하게 할 수 있다는 장점을 갖게 된다. 본 논문에서는 ETRI 에서 개발 중인 실시간 운영 체제인 Q+용 타겟관리자를 설계하고 구현한다. 또한, 타겟관리자가 동작하게 될 내장형 실시간 응용 개발 환경에 대하여 소개하고, 구현 결과를 도구들과 연계하여 보여주며, 타겟 관리자를 둔 원격 개발 환경이 타겟 관리자를 두지 않은 경우에 비해 호스트와 타겟 간의 통신 횟수가 얼마나 감소하는지 시험 결과를 통해 보여준다. 현재 타겟 관리자의 프로토타입을 개발하여 도구들과 통합 시험을 하였는데 기본 기능들이 성공적으로 수행됨을 확인하였다.
