Contents Sharing Model in Distributed Collaboration Environment (분산 협업 환경에서의 콘텐츠 공유 모델)

  • In this paper, we propose contents sharing model for consolidating distributed collaboration environments. We provide the combined model by integrating different features-scalable resolution display walls resource, sharing contents on local and remote, multi-user interaction, and access control. There is a benefit that every user can interact within an environment, but overlaps would occur because of multi-user interaction. To manage overlap issue, the model includes access control. Access control would interfere flow of work process. Therefore, we conduct user study to evaluate these two factors of the model. The result shows that the proposed contents sharing model makes it possible to concentrate in a work.

Study on Location Decisions for Cloud Transportation System Rental Station (이동수요 대응형 클라우드 교통시스템 공유차량 대여소 입지선정)

  • Recently, traffic congestion has become serious due to increase of private car usages. Carsharing or other innovative public transportation systems were developed to alleviate traffic congestion and carbon emissions. These measures can make the traffic environment more comfortable, and efficient. Cloud Transportation System (CTS) is a recent carsharing model. User can rent an electronic vehicles with various traffic information through the CTS. In this study, a concept, vision and scenarios of CTS are introduced. And, authors analyzed the location of CTS rental stations and estimated CTS demands. Firstly, we analyze the number of the population, employees, students and traffic volume in study areas. Secondly, the frequency and utilization time are examined. Demand for CTS in each traffic zone was estimated. Lastly, the CTS rental station location is determined based on the analyzed data of the study areas. Evaluation standard of the determined location includes accessibility and density of population. And, the number of vehicles and that of parking zone at the rental station are estimated. The result suggests that Haewoondae Square parking lot would be assigned 11 vehicles and 14.23 parking spaces and that Dongbac parking lot be assigned 7.9 vehicles and 10.29 parking spaces. Further study requires additional real-time data for CTS to increase accuracy of the demand estimation. And network design would be developed for redistribution of vehicles.

Study on Shared E-scooter Usage Characteristics and Influencing Factors (공유 전동킥보드 이용 특성 및 영향요인에 관한 연구)

  • Recently, shared dockless e-scooter usage has rapidly increased, rather than the station-based shared mobility service, because of convenience. This transition leads to new social problems in urban areas such as increased traffic accidents and hindrance of pedestrian environments. In this study, we analyze the usage characteristics of shared e-scooters in Seoul, and identify factors influencing demand for shared e-scooters by developing a negative binomial regression model. As a result, the usage characteristics show that the average trip distance, the average trip duration, and the average trip speed were 1.5km, 9.4min, and 10.3km/h, respectively. Demographic factor, transport facility factors, land use factors, and weather factors have statistically significant impacts on demand for shared e-scooters. The results of this study will be used as basic data for suggesting effective operation strategies for areas with higher shared e-scooter demand and for establishing transport policies for facilitating shared e-scooter usage.

  • 기존의 가상현실(Virtual Reality) 시스템들은 가상세계 (Virtual World)에 관한 데이타를 대부분 파일의 형태로 관리하고 있다. 가상현실에 대한 연구가 진전되어 공유가상세계(Shared Virtual World)를 기반으로 하는 대규모 응용분야가 나타나면서, 데이타의 효율적 관리와 공유를 위한 상위 레벨의 데이타 관리층이 필요하게 되었다. 본 논문에서는 가상세계 데이타의 관리를 위한 객체지향 DBMS(Database Management System)[1]의 사용을 제안한다. 그리고 데이터베이스에 저장된 지속객체 (Persistent Object)[2]를 공유하는 가상현실 응용시 스템의 구조를 연구한다.

A Shared Storage based Wireless Internet Proxy Sewer Cluster (공유 스토리지 기반의 무선 인터넷 프록시 서버 클러스터)

  • 본 논문에서는 무선 인터넷 프록시 서버 클러스터를 사용하여 무선 인터넷의 문제와 요구들을 캐싱(Caching), 압축(Distillation) 및 클러스터(Clustering)를 통하여 해결하려고 한다. 무선 인터넷 프록시 서버 클러스터에서 고려되어야 하는 것은 시스템적인 확장성, 단순한 구조, 캐시간 협동성(Cooperative Caching), Hot Spot에 대한 처리 등이다. 본 연구자들은 기존 연구에서 시스템적인 확장성과 단순한 구조물 가지는 CD-A라는 구조를 제안하였으나 캐시간 협동성이 없다는 단점을 가진다. 이의 개선된 구조로 해쉬를 이용하여 사용자의 요청을 처리하는(캐시간 협동성을 가지는) 구조를 생각해 볼 수 있으나 이 역시 Hot Spot을 처리할 수 없다는 단정을 가진다. 이에 본 논문에서는 시스템적인 확장성, 단순한 구조, 캐시간 협동성, Hot Spot을 처리할 수 있는 공유 스토리지 기반의 무선 인터넷 프록시 서버 클러스터를 제안한다. 제안된 방법은 하나의 캐시 디렉토리를 공유하는 방법으로 기존구조의 장점과 캐시간 협동성 및 Hot Spot을 처리할 수 있다는 장점을 가진다. 16대의 컴퓨터를 사용하여 실험을 수행하였고 실험 결과 Hot Spot 상황에서 제안된 방법이 높은 성능 향상을 가짐을 확인하였다.

  • 은행이나 증권시장 혹은 통신 분야와 같은 온라인 트랜잭션처리 (OLTP) 응용 분야들이 계속 증가하고 있으며 그 규모와 복잡성은 매년 405에서 50% 이상 증가하고 있는 것으로 평가되고 있다. 이러한 복잡한 OLTP 응용분야들은 한 대의 개인용 컴퓨터나 워크스테이션으로는 처리가 불가능하며, 슈퍼 컴퓨터나 MPP와 같은 고성능의 컴퓨터를 이용하는 경우에는 방대한 예산이 소요될 것이다. 본 논문에서는 데이터를 공유하는 워크스테이션 클러스터에서 트랜잭션을 병렬로 처리할 수 있는 고성능 트랜잭션처리 시스템인 PHLOX를개발한다. PHLOX는 네트워크 파일 시스템을 이용하여 데이터를 공유함으로써 확장성이 뛰어나며 각 워크스테이션의 메모리 버퍼간에 직접 데이터 전송을 지원함으로써 디스크 액세스빈도수를 줄일 수 있다는 장점을 갖는다.

  • 퍼스널 모빌리티를 비롯한 공유 모빌리티 시장이 국내에서 급격한 성장을 거두고 있다. 서울시에서는 2015년부터 공공자전거 서비스 '따릉이' 사업을 시작해 서울시민에게 주목받는 정책 중 하나로 자리매김했다. 그에 따라 매해 늘어나는 따릉이 수요를 맞추기 위해 서울시에서는 따릉이 대여소를 매해 증설하고 있으나, 자전거 부족, 거치대 부족으로 많은 불만이 나오고 있다. 본 논문에서는 따릉이 대여소의 이용률을 분석하여 사용이 집중되는 대여소와 그 시간대를 분석하고, 이를 통해 특정 대여소에 자전거가 필요 이상으로 반납되거나 부족해지는 현상을 해결할 방법을 제시한다.

A Study on the Satisfaction Differences in Dockless Bike in Suwon City (스테이션 없는 공유자전거 이용 만족도 차이 분석연구(수원시 사례를 중심으로))

  • The city of Suwon has introduced a dockless bike for the first time in Korea. In this study, a questionnaire was conducted for citizens to suggest improvement through satisfaction analysis. As a result of the survey, 88 % of respondents awarded the presence of a bike, and 90 % answered positively in terms of bike policy; whereas mature civic ethics showed an low satisfaction. For the purpose of usage, approximately 75 % of users mainly used for commuting, business, shopping, and the connection with mass transit. In the result of the primary means of a trip, a private car was most preferred before operation; However, it was found that mode transition has been actively carried out. This suggests significant implications for implementing sustainable urbanism. Meanwhile, The level of satisfaction significantly differed in the field of payment method, charge, usage guidance and publicity by an occupation and age groups commonly. Satisfaction in bike maintenance was statistically differed by an occupation. Satisfaction in Rental-return and registration procedures showed differences by an age groups. The results of this study will contribute to establishment related policies and to more activate dockless shared bike.

  • Despite the economic downturn, the amount of clothing being discarded is increasing due to the fast fashion. The purpose of this study is to propose a fashion sharing service development to settle the rational consumption culture along with the abandoned clothes problem. Shared fashion rental service has attracted as a solution to environmental problems not only when clothes are incinerated but also in manufacturing process, but there is a lack of precedent research. Therefore, this study is meaningful in that it has developed two development plans based on the results of analysis of service case based on three factors by Rachel Botsman. First, active community development. Second, it is the creation of goods through activation of the shared economy. In this study, there are limitations that can't be proved through actual application, so more research is needed through empirical studies on actual users in the future.
