In the city, the urban park contributes to the quality of citizen life in many ways, and the importance of the urban park as an urban planning facility is growing each day. In this study, evaluation of park service supply adequacy in Suwon-si, the difference in analysis methods, and the type of land use at urban park catchment area analysis were analyzed. As a result, there were remarkable differences between the two analysis methods. In Suwon-si, the catchment area by network analysis was only about 41% of catchment area by buffer analysis. However, when basic local authorities establish planning of parks and green areas, they use buffer analysis to calculate the park service area. It means that such calculations of urban park service areas may be wider than actually used. Also, because there were differences between urban park catchment areas by land use types, guidelines of planning parks and green areas will be adjusted. Although quantitative expansion of the park area is also important for the realization of green welfare, it is necessary to consider city characteristics such as the population size, population density, land use types, and so on.

본 연구는 계룡산국립공원을 방문한 이용객들의 전반적이 이용형태, 이용만족도, 그리고 이용 및 관리 관련 속성에 대한 태도를 파악함으로서 효율적인 공원관리방안 수립에 필요한 기초 정보의 제공에 그 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 응답자 직접기입 방식의 설문조사가 계룔산국립공원의 3개지역 (동학사. 갑사, 신원사)를 방문한 316명의 이용객을 대상으로 실시되었다. 응답자의 사회경제적 특성은 타국립공원에서 실시된 조사결과와 유사한 경향을 보였다. 계룡산국립공원은 휴식 목적의 방문비율이 가장 높았으며, 동반자 유형에 있어서 가족동반 비율이 가장 높게 나타났다. 또한 응답자들은 도착지에서의 이용정보의 질과 제공수단에 불만족을 나타냈으며 응답자들이 현지에서 느낀 혼잡의 정도는 심하지 않은 것으로 나타났다. 이와 함께 전반적인 휴양만족도는 비교적 긍정적으로 평가되었다.

This study examines history, usage, and spatial change of Cheoldo Park and its significance in the park planning in the Japanese colonial period focusing on the concept of a sports park. Cheoldo Park was verified as the first newly planned park built during the Japanese colonial period and continuously appeared in the official planning documents with different names and areas as a new planned park. This suggest that changes of Cheoldo Park reveal the important conceptual transition in the park planning. Activities in the park were understood by analyzing news paper articles and pictures, while spatial changes of the park were analyzed through maps and aerial photos. Changes in a park planning process were examined through analyzing the planning documents and maps. Cheoldo Park was opened in 1915 as a supporting facility of the Yongsan rail company residence complex. As Cheoldo Park became one of the urban parks of Gyeongseong in 1925, it had functioned as one of the main sports complexes of Gyeongseong. Although a sports park was suggested as a new type of urban park in the 1930's park plan, the programmatic aspect of a sports park was not distinctly defined yet. Cheoldo Park was not regarded as a sports park in the 1930's park plan. As a sports park was distinguished from other types of urban parks pro grammatically in the 1930s, the city tried to transform Cheoldo Park into a sports park. In the park plan of 1940, with major spatial expansion, Cheoldo Park became Ichon Park to be a main large park and sports park of Gyeongseong. Cheoldo Park contributed to the establishing a new direction of modern park planning, shifting from planning focus on quantitative improvement to qualitative improvement of urban parks. It also provided a realistic model to implement the park plans to overcome various limitations of the Japanese colonial period.

This study is about facilities using pattern for 'River-eco-park' that is Hwa-myeong Eco-park, Sam-rak Eco-park, Maek-do Eco-park. Through doing surveys, most patterns could be divided 5 patterns; 'Eco observation facility pattern', 'Promenade pattern', 'Bike path pattern', 'Sports facility pattern', 'Fitness center pattern'. Then we find channel of movement of user patterns by follow-up surveys. On the basis of this surveys, we are going to suggest some directions for River-eco-park design.

근리주구개념은 도시사회구조를 이해하는 기본적 틀로서 인식되어왔을 뿐 아니라 도시공원의 계획에 따르는 공원체계의 개발 및 도시민의 여가행동 규명에 중요한 하부체계로 사용되어왔다. 80년대를 전후하여 발표된 다수의 논문에서 보고되고 있는 도시공원의 낮은 이용사례는 공원의 소극적 관리 상황 뿐 아니라 계획 그 자체에 문제가 있음을 환기시키고 있다. 본 연구는 미국의 소 도시를 대상으로 지역주민에 의한 근린주구 개념을 파악하고 주민의 근린공원 이용실태를 분석하여 전통적인 근린 공원계획의 설정목표 및 기준상의 문제를 제조명하고자 한다. 연구결과 주민의 근린주구개념의 '동질성'의 사회경제적 기능주의 입장보다는 물리지형적 특성으로 기울어 사회학자 및 공원계획가의 근린주구에 대한 기본전제에서 벗어나고 있으며, 계획가에 의해 임으로 설정된 근린공원의 서비스 영역(0.8km 둘레) 내부에 위치한 주민들의 공원비용은 주민자신에 의해 도출된 근린 주구 영역이 공원의 포함여부에 커다랗게 영향받고 있음이 밝혀졌다. 본 연구는 근린주구의 사회학적 개념과 현상학적 접근방식의 일환으로 Cognitive Mapping 기법에 대한 정리도 제시한다.

This paper is concerned with the problem of international approval of national parks in Korea. Much of the solution of this problem is to be found in planning and law. Therefore the provisions for planning in the Korean. Natural Park Law and 20 national park plans were analyzed in comparison with International criterion. Then an gradual changing model of zoning plan were proposed in order to improve the zoning plan of national parks in Korea and applied to Hallasan National Park. These model can be applied to change the zoning plans of national parks in Korea for international approval.
