This study aims at exploring the characteristics of interior design of the Cruise line running Korea, Japan and China, and the satisfaction level of the Korean passengers for the interior design. Literature review and the physical traces of the cruise ship interior including 4 types of cabins and public spaces such as main hall, restaurants, outdoor swimming pool, jogging track, theater, meeting room, duty-free shop were performed. Also, the questionnaire to the passengers were used to understand their preferences and satisfaction level for each space. The results show that the passengers are very satisfied with the color and atmosphere of the cabin, while they complain the inconvenience of the bathroom size. Also in the public space, they prefer western classic style and modern style rather than Asian or Korean style. This means that they want the exotic feeling coming out of home. Also they prefer buffet restaurant, duty-free shop, theater, observation platform compared to other public spaces. However, the problem is that there are no place for the Korean family members with young children except for the outdoor pool. The interior and the program should be redesigned for the public spacs such as cinema room, family karaoke and internet-free room for Korean passengers.

산업화, 도시화에 따라 관리 주체가 다른 지중 금속시설물들이 크게 늘고 있으며 이러한 시설물의 보호를 위한 전기방식법, 특히 외부전원법의 적용이 전기방식에 대한 인식의 확산과 더불어 크게 증가하고 있다. 그러나 시스템의 설치를 위한 공간 확보의 어려움과 더불어 시설물 상호간의 표류전류 간섭 문제가 개별 관리주체로서는 해결할 수 없는 현안이 되고 있다. 이에 본 논문에서는 개별적으로 적용되던 전기방식 시스템 상호간의 간섭 사례를 현장 진단을 통하여 예시하고 이에 대한 대책으로 공용양극 외부전원 시스템을 설계, 현장 실증을 통하여 하나의 대안으로 제시하였다.

Multi-use housing and commercial buildings have been emerged according to social and economic changes of CBD in Seoul Metropolitan Areas. The purpose of this study is to clarify the characteristics of the multi-use building, to analyze the problems on the base of survey and to suggest the solutions for architectural planning, focusing on eco-friendly dwelling environment. A field survey with 46 subjects has been carried out with structured questionnaire. Some problems in planning of the complex building have been discussed in terms of environmental issues and design criteria. In conclusion, basic planning directions for improving the building environmental quality have been suggested.

본 연구에서는 일반 점검용 사진목적으로 촬영되어 저장되어 있는 데이터베이스(Data Base)의 이미지에서 목표물의 색, 형태 및 공간이동 정보를 수치 해석적으로 접근하여 교량의 변위를 산출하는 비접촉, 비타켓 방식의 영상처리기법(Image Processing Technique)을 제안하였다. 수치해석 및 모형실험을 통하여, 일반 교량점검 사진에서 교량의 변위를 추출하는 방법으로 타당함을 검증하였다. 이를 활용하여 공용중인 교량의 온도에 의해 변화하는 교량의 정적 거동특성을 파악할 수 있다.

An effective design of a public space that properly functions as a resting place in city can be found through the community facility studies. This study, based on the ecological psychology, discusses the mutual relationships between human behaviors and physical and social environment. It is demonstrated that design elements, such as chairs, tables, stairs, a flower bed, a stair-shaped exterior wall, a pond and others play important roles in providing environment for different human behaviors in public space. These environmental design elements also increase a variety of behavior for users.

The aged population increasing rapidly, the population rate of over 65 years old was over 7.5% in 2000 in Korea and it means that Korea is aging society. Increasing participation of woman in public affairs, becoming a nuclear family and increasing old aged people who want to stand alone brought about more the old households. But the aged welfare accommodation are still insufficient and more facilities accommodating the aged should be built. 80.5% of people according to poll by the Ministry of Health and Welfare responded the support of the aged is a serious problem in Korea. This result indicates the reality that the system for the aged are unsatisfied. Although these situations made a new concept of 'silver-town' of the welfare facility for the aged, it is under a transition in the aspect of the social system and the architectural aspect as well. This study will select good examples among facilities in the metropolitan area, analysis space and propose resonable program.

This paper presents a co-located and mobile interaction technique using smartphones in a global space. To effectively detect the locations and orientations of smartphones, the proposed approach utilizes Kinect that captures RGB image as well as 3D depth information. Based on the locations and orientations of smartphones, the proposed approach can support direct, collaborative and private interactions with the global space. Thus, it can provide more effective mobile interactions for local space exploration and collaboration.

국토해양부(장관 정종환)는 최근 연세대 친환경건축연구센터와 서울시 강동구가 협의('09.8)를 통해 친환경 공동주택 가이드라인을 마련함에 따라 강동구부터 '저에너지 친환경 공동주택 가이드라인' 시행에 들어 간다고 밝혔다. 가이드라인의 주요내용은 공동주택 재건축시 냉 난방 에너지 총 소비량의 40% 이상을 절감하고, 관리동 등 공용시설의 제로에너지화, 지역특성에 맞게 생태면적률 40%이상 확보, 단지내 인공생물 서식공간 조성의 의무화 등이다. 강동구는 앞으로 지어지는 재건축정비사업의 공동주택 모두에 가이드라인 내용을 반영하여 친환경 공동 주택으로 건설을 추진할 계획이며, 특히 고덕지구($1,239,407m^2$, 18,540가구) 및 둔촌지구($626,235m^2$, 9,090가구)부터 적용하여 친환경공동주택단지를 조성할 전망이다.

모바일 디바이스 및 클라우드의 진보와 함께, 사람들이 이용해 온 많은 종류의 오프라인 서비스들이 온라인 서비스로 대체되었다. 과거에는 음악다방의 DJ들이 고객이 요청한 음악을 재생해주고 사연을 읽어주는 역할을 하였다. 우리는 이러한 서비스를 공용 클라우드, 스트리밍 서버, 스트리밍 클라이언트, 사용자 기기로 구성된 온라인 서비스로 대체하였다. 고객은 모바일 디바이스를 사용하여 음악, 영상, 사연을 요청하고, 현재 고객이 있는 공간의 스크린과 스피커를 통해 서비스를 수신한다. 우리는 또한 해당 서비스가 운용되는 클라우드 미디어 DJ 플랫폼을 설계하고 구현한다. 본 플랫폼은 대규모 트래픽을 수용하기 위해 Docker 컨테이너 배포 기술을 사용한다. 성능 실험결과에서 본 플랫폼은 동시 사용자 수에 따른 응답 시간이 최소 25%에서 최대 75%까지 줄었다.

한국디자인진흥원(원장 윤주현)과 산업통상자원부는 2018 우수디자인(GD)상품 선정 및 수상결과를 발표했다. 2018년에는 875점이 출품돼 총 339점이 GD로 선정되었으며(선정율 39%), 이 중 대통령상을 비롯한 국무총리상, 장관상, 원장상 등 총78점이 최종 수상했다. 우수디자인(GD)상품 선정은 최근 2년 이내 국내 또는 국외에서 판매를 개시하였거나 당해연도 판매 예정인 상품을 대상으로 제품, 커뮤니케이션, 포장, 공간환경, 서비스 등 총39개 분야에서 선정하고 있다. 포장부문은 소비자제품, 식음료, 뷰티/헬스, 의약품, 산업/B2B, 기타포장 등 6개항목으로 구성됐다. 올해 포장 부문에서는 롯데제과의 '애니타임'과 (주)애경산업의 '팬톤+2080'이 산업통상자원부장관상을, 디토의 '막걸리 공용 용기', (주)헤즈의 '프레스킷 디자인'이 중소벤처기업부장관상을, CJ제일제당의 '워터젤리 제로' 등 8개 제품이 KIDP원장상을 수상했다. 다음에 우수디자인으로 선정된 포장부문 제품들을 살펴보도록 한다.
