The frequency of official injury of fire-fighting officers exposed to an extreme situation in disaster areas has been continuously increased. In spite of increase of injury, procedures of injury approval are complex, so the working environment of fire-fighting officers is very poor in terms of safety management. This study was, therefore, conducted to provide basic data for improvement of the injury management system for fire-fighting officers, by empirically analyzing the system for those in Busan city. The findings of the empirical analysis are as follows: first, the frequency of injury experienced by them is higher than that of other occupations; second, application for injury is not actively made; third, fire-fighting officers should bear the expense if injury is approved. On the basis of such an analysis on actual conditions, an analysis on policy factors for improving the injury management system shows; first, various high-risk matters should be considered in the review of application for injury, for improvement factors of the application for injury, while it is necessary to extend the benefit and support project for injured officers, for operation improvement factors of the injury management system, and the compensation act should be improved, for the improvement factors of the injury system. Second, it is urgent to develop damage prevention and coping education program for improving the injury management system. In addition, the simplification of administrative procedures of application for injury and the extension of benefit and support project for injured officers should be realized as soon as possible, moreover, the enhancement of directors' interest and support is also required.

Comprehensive Understanding of the Double-sidedness of Sexual Fantasy: focused on disability, crime and treatment. This study was to understand the double-sidedness of sexual fantasy. First, definition of normal sexual fantasy and abnormal sexual fantasy in former researches is discussed. Secondly, sexual fantasy's role as a risk factor in the context of obsessional discomfort or sexual crime. Thirdly, guideline and principle when using sexual fantasy as a tool of treatment. Fourthly, measuring and evaluating tools of sexual fantasy were reviewed and necessity of developing new scale was proposed. In addition, summary and ideas for further research were suggested.

The aims of this study were to analyze the Korean fire fighters' applications for the public worker's compensation between 2011 and 2013 and to suggest a feasible solution for prevention of work-related musculoskeletal disorders. The Korean Ministry of Public Safety and Security provided the complete list of fire fighters' application from January 2011 to December 2013. 510 applicants with chief complaint of musculoskeletal disorders were screened out of all 1596 applicants. Male applicants were 92%. Fire fighters in their early 40's applied most frequently, followed by those in early 30's. Musculoskeletal disorders of fire fighters were reported most frequently in May and June. Regionally, Seoul had most applicants and Jeonbuk showed the highest prevalence. Low back was the most frequently reported body part followed by the knee. Ligament was insured most frequently followed by vertebral disc and bone. The fire fighter's injury occurred while fire extinguish (38.3%), emergency medical service (37.7%), rescue (12.4%), and other duties. Result of this study suggests further investigation on the large variation in regional prevalence and on the injury mechanism of musculoskeletal disorders especially during the fire extinguish and emergency medical service.

We examined the developmental characteristics of dream, daydream, and hope of elementary school students in their 1st, 3rd, and 5th grades, and studied the correlation between three variables. We summarized the results of this study as follows. 1) The contents of dream developed with the cognitive development and socialization process. In detail, appearance of animals, family members, and known persons gradually decreased, and appearance of self, same-sex peers, and strangers gradually increased. These results are comparable with the previous studies of dream. 2) Daydream, hope, and current state also developed with age. In detail, frequency of daydream increased, and the contents of daydream and hope changed toward more self-centered and more realistic. The changes of current state are thought to reflect the specific situation of Korea. 3) There are some correlation among dream, daydream, and hope. Especially happy mood and fearful mood had positive correlation with the relevant contents of dream, daydream, and hope. Also the contents of dream showed positive correlation with the same contents of daydream. This study is the first trial which investigate the developmental characteristics of dream, daydream, and hope of normal children in Korea. We verified that dream and daydream are on the continuous line of ‘reality-imitation-play-daydream-dream’ Finally, considering the facts that dream developed with age；responded to meaningful emotional experiences；and had the correlation with daydream, hope, and current state, the results of this study support the psychological meaning of dream.

The aim of the study intends to investigate safety and health of injured firefighter in Gyeongbuk province and to provide the base data for the safety and health of firefighter. The results of the study are as follows. The injured firefighter are under more job stress than general's and the effect factor of stress are "lack of reward", "organizational system", "occupational climate" and "job insecurity". The injured firefighter receive more job stress than the average of korean man about "physical environment" and "occupational climate". The prevalence post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) of injured firefighter using IES-R-K is 75 percent of the surveyed.

The aim of study intends to investigate safety and health of injured firefighter in Gyeongbuk province and to provide the base data for the safety and health of firefighter. The results of the study are as follows. Type of activities when injured are surveyed extinguishing fire (42.5%), EMS (20.0%), rescue (12.5%), driving (10.0%) others (10.0%), education and training (5.0%). The firefighter injuries are treated in hospital (75%), operated surgery (62.5%) and disordered physically (25.0%). It was found that administration financial support (42.5%), development and propagation of teaching material (12.5%), the interest of chief (7.5%) were required for the safety and health of firefighter.

세상을 떠난 뒤 거의 한세기가 지난 요즘, 공상과학소설의 아버지 '쥴 베르느'(1828~1905)가 새삼 많은 사람들의 관심을 모으고 있다. 1863년에 완성되었으나 오랫동안 금고 속에 묻혀 있던 그의 마지막 작품 '20세기의 파리'가 1989년 그의 증손자에게 발견되어 최근 영문번역판이 출판된 것이다. 베르느는 이 작품에서 유리와 강철로 된 마천루, 고속열차, 가스추진 자동차, 계산기, 팩스기계 그리고 범지구통신망으로 지새는 20세기 파리의 생활을 배경으로 물질주의적인 반유토피아향에서 행복을 찾으려고 몸부림치는 이상적인 한 청년의 생활을 묘사하고 있다.
