Hardware and Software Co-Design Platform for Energy-Efficient FPGA Accelerator Design (에너지 효율적인 FPGA 가속기 설계를 위한 하드웨어 및 소프트웨어 공동 설계 플랫폼)

  • Recent systems contain hardware and software components together for faster execution speed and less power consumption. In conventional hardware and software co-design, the ratio of software and hardware was divided by the designer's empirical knowledge. To find optimal results, designers iteratively reconfigure accelerators and applications and simulate it. Simulating iteratively while making design change is time-consuming. In this paper, we propose a hardware and software co-design platform for energy-efficient FPGA accelerator design. The proposed platform makes it easy for designers to find an appropriate hardware ratio by automatically generating application program code and hardware code by parameterizing the components of the accelerator. The co-design platform based on the Vitis unified software platform runs on a server with Xilinx Alveo U200 FPGA card. As a result of optimizing the multiplication accelerator for two matrices with 1000 rows, execution time was reduced by 90.7% and power consumption was reduced by 56.3%.

  • 인터넷과 전자상거래 시스템 기술의 발달로 인해서, 현재 인터넷상에서 많은 전자상점이 개설되고 있다. 이들 상점 중의 상당한 수는 소형으로서, 대형 전자상점과는 달리 자금력, 기술력이 열세하고, 판매상품의 종류가 제한적이며, 방문자의 수가 소수인 점등으로 인해서 운영상 많은 어려움을 겪고 있다. 따라서, 소형 전자상점의 판매 증대를 위해서 이들 상점의 개별적 운영과는 별도로 이들의 상품을 모아서 공동으로 판매하는 공간이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 SOHO형 전자상점들의 공동 판매 공간인 공동 전자상점의 모델을 제안하고, 이를 기반으로 전자상점 플랫폼을 설계 및 구현하였다. 우리의 플랫폼은 기존 백화점식 쇼핑몰이나 메타 쇼핑몰과 비교해서, 소형 전자상점들과 공동 전자상점간의 자료 교환을 최소화함으로써, 기존 소형 전자상점이 쉽게 공동 전자상점의 참여할 수 있는 점이 장점이다.

  • The companies have employed SNS for marketing, promotion, and customer relationship management. The SNS is a good tool to collect customers' opinions and to collaborate with internal and external employees, however, the function of SNS are limited in implementing a co-creation. Therefore, the purpose of this research is to suggest a SNS platform for co-creation that creates a corporate's values with customers. For this purpose, the limitations of SNS are defined and the new platform of the SNS is suggested. The proposed platform has 3 modules including integration of applications, cloud services, and integration to applications operated by companies. With a scenario method the suggested platform was validated. This is one of pioneer studies in co-creation.

  • In this paper, various platforms are designed, where instructors and students can communicate each other to educate, ask and answer the questions interactivel under the WEB 3-based remote real-time instrurtions. The proposed system maximizes involvements among the students, instrurtors and administrators, which facilitate the understanding and progressive developments of the lessons and tasks to be performed. In the proposed education system, the instructors work as overseers for the study and the students benefit from comparative learning and pattern design. Also, the advantages of WBI are maximized, and the common factors among the mutual components are extracted and reused to avoid the confusion for the students. The advantages of the components are maximized and applied to the proposed system.

  • Traditionally, the value of a product or service was provided to customers by the manufacturer. However, in modern society, participation of consumers in the production of goods and services is widely integrated into the general activities of corporations. Collaborative innovation refers to the company and customer working together in creating value with the customers participating in the designing, production, marketing, and sales of products. Accordingly, it would be ill-fitted to conduct collaborative innovation using previous business methods. Though collaborative innovation in the business sector is expected to increase, there are limits to its implementation at present. This study proposes framework in developing collaborative innovation-purpose business models and a conceptual platform for its execution.

  • 본 연구에서는 공동 작업에 참여하는 작업자들의 업무흐름(workflow)을 관리하기 위한 워크플로우 엔진의 프로토타입을 개발하였다. 분산 객체관리의 표준으로 정착되어 가고 있는 CORBA(Common Object Request Broker Architecture)를 이용하여 네트워크 프로그래밍을 하였으며, JAVA를 사용하여 프로그램의 호환성과 이식성을 높였다. 또한, HAD(heterogeneous and autonomous and distributed) 환경에서 작동 가능하도록 엔진을 설계하였다. 따라서, 공동작업에 참여하는 작업자들이 플랫폼에 상관없이 네트워크를 통해 엔진에 접속할수 있으며, 워크플로우 엔진은 공동 작업을 진행 및 감독할 수 있다. 본 연구에서 개발한 시스템을 설계 작업에서의 변경요청(ECO:Engineering Change Order)이라는 업무흐름에 적용하여 보았다.

  • As a form of online co-production, government crowdsourcing platforms have received growing attention from scholars and practitioners as a means of enhancing government-citizen co-production. This research aims (1) to introduce government leaders and managers to recent empirical research examining real-world cases of government crowdsourcing from different countries, (2) to systematically organize, analyze, and discuss the findings and implications of recent government crowdsourcing empirical studies, and (3) to provide government practitioners with evidence-based insights that could encourage informed decisions about how they design, implement, and evaluate government crowdsourcing platforms effectively and inclusively. Literature review is limited primarily to empirical works that rigorously examined real-world cases of government crowdsourcing. By focusing on a review of empirical research on crowdsourcing co-design and crowdsourcing design/government delivery platforms, this study discusses the key findings systematically and offers some insights and implications for leaders and managers seeking effective and inclusive design and implementation of government crowdsourcing platforms.

  • 본 논문에서는 직업 교육 분야에 인공지능 융합 교육을 위한 파이썬 블록과 텍스트 동시 코딩 플랫폼을 설계하였다. 플랫폼에 코딩 언어로는 데이터 분석과 머신러닝의 다양한 라이브러리를 지원하고 있는 파이썬으로 하며, 직업 교육의 영역 전문가가 쉽게 직무 기능 파이썬 블록 모듈을 만들어 추가하고 커스터마이징을 할 수 있는 아키텍처를 갖고 있다. 제안한 플랫폼을 활용한 인공지능 융합 직업 분야로 바이오와 기계공학 분야의 블록 모듈을 추가하고 실습 예제를 만드는 과정을 보여 플랫폼의 유용성과 효율성을 보였다.

  • As a new management paradigm, co-creation for creating new value through collaboration with stakeholders, including customers, distributers, suppliers, and partner organizations has been issued in the private and public organizations. To collectively create new value, effective communication tools among the interest groups should be provided. In fact, most of organizations have utilized information technology such as home pages and SNS for distributing information and respecting customer opinions. However, they are seriously experiencing in difficulty of systematic management and overlapped investment on information technology for co-creation. Thus, this study proposes the conceptual model for co-creation platform through case studies and it is verified by scenario analysis and experts. The study contributes to accumulate knowledge in the area of co-creation platform. It also defines the requirements and the functions for the design of co-creation platform for practitioners.
