A community center is situated near the residential areas and is the public facility that acts as the core of local cultural activities. A community center, as the general cultural activities increases, is transforming into a facility that promotes the community restoration and living convenience such as welfare, sports, art activities, and education etc. beyond location of simple leisurely activities. This study considers local residents' accessibility through the renovation of preexisting community center.

This research examines classification of rural experience tourism villages and case study of 4 villages in Gyeonggi Province through theoretical studies on residents' participation and roles as the subject of regional development in the perspectives of place assets. The four types classified are as follows: 1) community systemization, 2) individual systemization, 3) community integration, and 4) individual integration. In order to achieve type of community integration, we pay attention to get more interests in intensifying the community systemization and further alternative approaches to rural tourism villages.

The recent development of IT, consolidation of communications and multimedia technology have brought enormous changes in many organizations. These changes are enabling the new educational environments such as distance learning and virtual education. Particularly e-Learning has grown rapidly in business training fields. In this regard, the primary purpose of this study is to investigate which factors of e-Learning influence education and training in business organizations through an empirical survey. The results show that most of hypotheses get significant support. Implications of these findings are discussed for researchers and practitioners.

The purpose of this study is to illuminate the reason why community building policies by the Government seem to fail to work properly in Korea. The existing studies focus mainly on designing community building systems, thus they cannot provide plausible explanations about the cause of the unsuccessful outcomes from the policies. To overcome the limitations of the existing studies, the authors examine the implementation factors to influence the policy instruments with the perspective of policy implementation. By performing the analysis, the results imply the implementation factors, such as executer's competence, supports by related interests, incentive systems, and legal-institutional instruments, are important to influence the implementation performance of the relevant policy instruments. To make community building successful policies, The authors therefore suggest that the capacity of local administrators and residents should be raise, and one of which the way to enhance is to support research and program development by the resident-oriented living laboratory systems in localities.

This study aimed to suggest the tasks which public support groups should fundamentally perceive and develop support models based on it so that socioeconomic activities, which have been spreading in recent years, can settle in local communities. For this aim, this study was proceeded based on Gyeonggi Province, which has established socioeconomic support center at metropolitan councils and local government councils. The demands by Gyeonggi Province residents toward the policies by Ddabok communities and local community invigoration measures have been examined through demand survey. In the analysis, characteristics and support tasks of the demands have been identified based on the survey results and six support models have been developed according to the tasks. The derived tasks are overcoming low understanding of Ddabok communities, low participation in community activities, and poor will to perform socioeconomic practices and satisfying the demand toward community activity areas adjacent to residence. Furthermore, the differences with the residents who have an experience of taking part in the Ddabok Community Project have to be overcome. Based on these study findings, this study suggested that support models of integration style and differentiated style, response to demand style and customization to capability style, and resources-focused style and resources-scattered style are necessary in order for socioeconomic communities like Ddabok communities to settle in local communities.

This paper explores how multiple facets of social capital in Korea affects social conflict. The notion of social capital is composed of several elements including (1) social trust in generalized others (2) confidence in public sector fairness and the principles of democracy (3) social networks and closures and (4) community spirit and collective norms. We particularly examine how these multiple dimensions of social capital affect an individual`s tendency of social conflict orientation. The findings address the following four points. First, an individual, who trusts generalized others in a society, is less likely to be exclusive and conflict-oriented. Second, the more an individual has confidence in the efficacy of democratic processes and public sector fairness, the more (s)he is likely to be social integration oriented. When an individual, in contrast, gives strong support to a particular party (or government in power), the person is more likely to be conflict oriented. Third, an individual who mobilizes exclusive social closures to solve a problem is more likely to be conflict oriented. However, an individual who maintains a variety of inclusive social networks is more likely to be social integration oriented. Finally, the internalization of collective norms does not affect directly the tendency of individual's social conflict orientation. Increasing social capital at the individual level does not automatically guarantee societal level conflict resolutions. Rather, building extensive social closures based on strong family or hometown ties, school connections, political interests has detrimental effects on social integration and conflict resolutions. More, constructive social integration in a society requires higher level of open social networks, consistent administrative and democratic procedures, and social trust in generalized others.

This study historically examined nine representative community-related elements such as Hyangyak, Doore, Pumassi, Dongje, Gwallye, Wedding, Funeral, Ancestral Rites, Saemaul Undong, etc. in our society. This study aimed to create a better Korean society by revealing the relationship between well-aging and well-dying. This study investigated and analyzed 45 recent papers published between 2016 and 2021. As a result of the analysis, out of 45 cases, 22 cases are connected to the Joseon Dynasty, and 15 cases are related to modern society. When divided into life and death, 6 out of 9 items were bound to life, and 3 items encompassed life and death. And based on the relationship between well-aging and well-dying, it was specified as Type A-D. In conclusion, this study allows our society to achieve social integration and share the interests of the community through the principle of reciprocity and solidarity. This study can contribute from the perspective of convergence to becoming a true community that can share the interests of the community.

South America has vast energy resources with the renewable and non-renewable sources. However, many countries in the region are unable to guarantee adequate energy security both of energy supply and demand. Currently the possibility of energy security is high through regional energy integration based on the potential economic benefits. The difference of regulation system with the individual countries in the region impose strong barriers to integration process. Security of energy supply and its demand as well is fundamental issues in this region and regional energy cooperation is essential for getting rid of the insecurity of energy supplies. Despite of this problem, currently Latin American countries made a great effort to make multilateral energy security regime through projecting great energy infrastructure network(e.g. IIRSA) or mechanism especially in South America, which can give countries access to the region's reserve supplies by providing regulations and pricing mechanism with a shared energy market in this region. Brazil's active leading in the formulation of such movement toward energy security integration and participation of energy infrastructure network is good initiative to enforce this great energy security change. Politically and economically, Brazil's geographical position and the level of market size and oil and natural gas resources, in addition the leadership in renewable energy sources make it a sound candidate to take over the coordination of the secure integration of region's energy market. However, on the conditions of existing many obstacles such as, control of the output of the region's power plant, energy flows, the environmental matter within local community must be overcome to make more advance process and steps. Finally, to secure more institutional approach, this region must settle regional disputes resolution regime urgently.

리더의 역할을 강조하는 강의나 서적은 매우 많아 그 내용을 접하는 이들도 많다. 하지만 만인이 좋은 리더가 될 수 없는 이유는 공동체의 선을 추구하고자 하는 강한 추진력과 한결같은 책임감을 유지할 수 있다는 것이 매우 어렵기 때문일 것이다. 전반적인 협회사업에 있어 열성적인 관심과 통합된 목소리로 아낌없는 조력자로서 잘 알려진 전남도지회는 회원 개개인의 단합된 모습도 인상적이지만 그러한 기반을 서서히 구축해 선도적으로 이끌어가고 있는 도지회장의 역량과 노력 때문에 주목 받고 있다. 전남지역의 낙농을 넘어 대한민국 낙농을 걱정하는 박석오 도지회장을 만나 전남도지회가 걸어온 길과 그의 낙농철학을 들어본다.
