  • 부엌이 달라지고 있다. 옛날에 집안 구석에 위치하고 단순히 취사만이 가능했던 공간, 더욱이 남자들은 들어오지 못하게 하는 철저한 여성만의 공간이었다. 이런 부엌이 세월을 거쳐 이젠 주거공간의 중심으로 부상했다. 주거공간의 변천사, 그 가운데 부엌의 의미를 되짚어 본다.

Bearing Capacity Determination Method for Spreading Footings Located above Underground Cavities (지하공동위에 위치한 확대기초지 지지력 산정 기법)

  • This paper presents a bearing capacity determination method for spread footings subjected to vertical central loading and located above underground cavities. For the development of the method, a parametric study on bearing capacity of a spread footing located above an underground cavity was performed by using a threetimensional elasto-plastic finite element computer program. From the results of the finite element analysis, bearing capacity values for the conditions analyzed were determined and used as a data base from which semiempirical equation to for the bearing capacity determination method were formulated by means of a regression analysis. The effectiveness of this method was illustrated by comparing the bearing capacity values computed from this method with those of available model footing tests as well as finite element analysis data. It was concluded that the method presented in this paper can be effectively used for practical applications at least within the conditions investigated.

  • 공동저작 관리 시스템은 효율적인 공동저작을 위해 공유객체관리기능, 세션관리기능, 텔리포인팅(telepointing) 기능, 그리고 공동저작 인지(collaboration awareness) 기능들을 제공해야 한다. 이 중 공유객체관리기능은 저작자로 하여금 등록된 공유객체들을 편리하게 액세스 할 수 있도록 하고 저작에 필요한 공유객체들을 등록, 변경, 그리고 삭제할 수 있도록 함으로써 작업효율을 증대시킬 수 있는 핵심기능이다. 최근의 연구는 주로 등록된 공유객체의 변경 및 불필요한 정보전송으로 인한 작업지연, 그리고 공유객체 액세스 권한의 효율적인 관리를 위한 플로어 제어(floor control)에 그 초점을 맞추고 있으나 공유객체관리를 위한 기법이나 구조에 관한 연구는 미흡하다. 편리한 공동저작을 위해서는 분산환경의 특징상 가 저작자들의 시스템에 자연스럽게 분산되어 있는 공유객체들을 저작자나 공유객체들의 실제 위치에 상관없이 액세스할 수 있도록 하고, 저작자로 하여금 공유객체의 등록 시에 유일명 부여(unique naming)를 가능하게 하여 필요한 공유객체를 쉽게 검색할 수 있도록 해야 한다. 이를 위해 본 논문은 공유객체 디렉토리 서비스(shared-object directory service)를 제안한다. 공유객체 디렉토리 서비스는 일반 디렉토리(normal directory)와 세션 디렉토리(session directory)를 저작자에게 제공하여 공유객체의 등록시에 유일명 부여를 가능하게 하고 필요한 공유객체 검색을 용이하게 한다.

Measurements and Data Interpretation for the Detection of Steel Bars and Delamination inside Concrete (콘크리트내의 철근 및 공동탐사를 위한 측정과 분석)

  • To determine detection capabilities of locating steel bars and delamination inside concrete, commercially available nondestructive testing (NDT) equipments have been tested. The equipments include two radar systems and two electromagnetic method systems. The inclusions are a 19 mm diameter steel bar and 50 mm thick delamination embedded at different cover depths from the surface of concrete specimens. For the steel bar, attempts were made to determine the size of the bars by changing the diameter of the bars. A sample result of measuring horizontal spacing between doubly reinforced bars is presented in this paper. Experimental results on various measurement cases are discussed. Application of numerical modeling technique for the simulation of radar measurements and improved output display of radar measurements are also presented.

A Study on the Vary Small K-band Triple-mode Cavity Resonator Bandpass Filter for Digital Microwave Communication (Digital Microwave 통신을 위한 K-band 초소형 Triple-mode 공동 공진기 대역통과 필터에 관한 연구)

  • A 2 stage 6-pole bandpass filter (BPF) is designed and implemented by using K-band triple-mode cavity. The BPF has an 100MHz bandwidth at the center frequency of 18.5GHz and the response of the filter is Chebyshev function. The cavity filter uses two orthogonal $TE_{113}$ modes and one $TM_{012}$ mode. To obtain a Chebyshev response, the intercavity coupling between the adjacent cavities is accomplished by H-field component of TE modes parallel to slot plate. In this paper, the size and location of intercavity slot are determined by the detailed coupling equation from H-field of TE resonant modes in circular cavity. The measured results agree well with the theoretical one.

  • A microgravity survey was applied for detecting and mapping karstic cavities over limestone area at Gaeun. The gravity data were collected at about 1, 100 stations by 4 m interval. The density distribution beneath the profiles was drawn by two dimensional inversion based on the minimum support stabilizing functional, which generated better focused images of density discontinuities. We also imaged three dimensional density distribution by growing body inversion. The density image showed that the cavities were dissolved, enlarged and connected into a cavity network system.

The BPF has an 100 MHz bandwidth at the center frequency of 14.5 GHz, Ku-band. The cavity filter uses two orthogonal $TE_{113}$ modes and one $TM_{012}$ mode. The intercavity coupling between the adjacent cavities results in a Chebyshev response and is accomplished by H-field component of TE modes. The size and location of intercavity slot are determined by the coupling equation from H-field of TE resonant modes in circular cavity. The measured filter response agrees well with the theoretical data.

  • 다수의 사용자가 동일한 디스플레이 화면을 보면서 의사를 교환하거나 공동 작업을 수행하는 협업환경에서의 인터랙션 기술은 네트워크 기술, 디스플레이 기술만큼이나 효율적인 협업을 위해 중요한 요소 기술이다. 이러한 인터랙션의 성공적인 수행을 위해서 중요한 기능 중의 하나는 사용자의 상황인식을 들 수 있는데 이는 사용자의 돌발 행동, 사용자들간의 의사교환 정도 등을 측정하고 예측하는데 유용하게 사용될 수 있다. 협업환경 내에서의 사용자의 위치 파악은 사용자의 상황인식뿐 아니라 다수의 사용자가 동시에 레이저 포인터를 이용하여 디스플레이 장치를 가리키고 있는 경우, 어느 사용자가 디스플레이 화면 중 어느 위치를 포인팅 하고 있는지를 계산하는데 도움을 줄 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 제한된 환경 내에서 사용자의 3차원 위치를 추적할 수 있는 시스템을 제안한다. 개발된 시스템은 사용자의 위치 계산뿐 아니라 사용자의 제스처도 함께 인식하여 사용자가 협업환경 시스템을 제어할 수 있고 공중에서 글씨 쓰는 등의 인터랙션도 수행할 수는 기능을 지원한다.

A Study on the Change of Road Traffic Noise at the Roadside Apartments according to the Traffic Management (교통운영에 따른 도로변 공동주택의 도로교통소음 변화에 관한 연구)

  • In Korea, large.scale housing complexes and residential areas began to appear in urban regions through urban plan projects from the 1970s. In addition, with the increase in the percentage of apartments in developed areas, road traffic noise at roadside apartments was raised as a new problem. Furthermore, since the late 1980s, apartments, which had been no taller than 15 stories, have grown higher to 20-30 stories and recently 40.story or higher apartments are being constructed, and as a result, residences are growing denser and road traffic noise is increasing in urban areas. Thus, the present study made a noise map using variables 'traffic volume' and 'mean spot speed' among factors influencing roadside apartments, and examined the noise reduction efficiency of the variables. According to the results, traffic volume and speed limit were found to have an effect on a limited space, and the median bus lane system was found to have a slight effect on the roadside.

  • In recently years, it has become important to detect underground objects of various marterials including metals, such as detecting the location of sink holes and pipe. For this reason, ground penetrating radar(GPR) technology is attracting attention in the field of underground detection. GPR irradiates the radar wave to find the position of the object buried underground and express the reflected wave from the object as image. However, it is not easy to interpret GPR images because the features reflected from various objects underground are similar to each other in GPR images. Therefore, in order to solve this problem, in this paper, to estimate the piping position in the GRP image according to the threshold value using the CNN (Convolutional Neural Network) model based on deep running, which is widely used in the field of image recognition, As a result of the experiment, it is proved that the pipe position is most reliably detected when the threshold value is 7 or 8.
