  • A wind tunnel test was conducted at Protected Horticulture Experiment Station of National Horticultural Research Institute in Busan to find the aerodynamic resistance and quadratic resistance coefficient of chrysanthemum in greenhouse. The internal plants of the CFD model has been designed as a porous media because of the complexity of its physical shapes. Then the aerodynamic resistance value should be input for analyzing CFD model that crop is considered while the value varies by crops. In this study, the aerodynamic resistance value of chrysanthemum canopy was preliminarily found through wind tunnel test. The static pressure at windward increased as wind velocity and planting density increased. The static pressure at leeward decreased as wind velocity increased but was not significantly affected by planting density. The difference of static pressure between windward and leeward increased as wind velocity and planting density increased. The aerodynamic resistance value of chrysanthemum canopy was found to be 0.22 which will be used later as the input data of Fluent CFD model. When the planting distances were $9{\times}9\;cm$, $11{\times}11\;cm$, and $13{\times}13\;cm$, the quadratic resistance coefficients of porous media were found to be 2.22, 1.81, and 1.07, respectively. These values will be used later as the input data of CFX CFD model.

  • The optimal design for a leading car considering the aerodynamic resistance is required on the high-speed train due to increasing of ratio of drag force with proportion for the square of velocity. The aerodynamic analysis using CFD in the stage of concept design offers more economical analysis method which is used to estimate the influence of flow and pressure around the leading car than the experimental method using the Mock-up. In this study, we want to assist the artistic design with aerodynamics analysis in order to get the optimal design for leading car with the operation speed of 180km/h. The results of aerodynamic analysis for two leading car models which one is expressed with lineal beauty and the other is with curvaceous beauty are compared with each other and they offer the proposal of modification for two models in order to decrease the drag force. The shape of curvaceous model is better for the pressure force but slightly worse for the viscous force than the other. The Fluent software is used for the calculation of flow profile in this study.

  • In this study, the flow analysis due to the car body configuration of air breather was carried out. As the resistance force whose flow affects car body has been studied, it is published that the electricity can be decreased. When the inner pressure of air breather is evaluated, there is the study of efficiency in order to raise the flow rate of inner body. At a total of five models, it is shown that the air resistance and pressure happen differently and the air pressure of side flow is changed. This study result was analyzed by using the analysis program of ANSYS, a study model was modelled using the CATIA V5 modelling program. It was investigated that the air flow rate was distributed uniformly as the curved surface of air breather configuration increases. It is thought as the most effective design method to design the air breather by considering the effect on the air resistance and flow. Also, through the design of the vehicle's airbrid configuration, the design of the product can incorporate a aesthetic sense into the design.

  • Composite cathodes of 50/50 vol% LSM- YSZ (La$_{1-x}$Sr$_{x}$MnO$_3$-yttria stabilized zirconia) were deposited onto surface- Polished YSZ electrolytes by colloidal deposition technique. The cathode characteristics were then examined by scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and X-ray diffraction (XRD) and studied by ac impedance spectroscopy (IS). The typical impedance spectra measured for an air/LSM- YSZ/YSZ/Pt/air cell at $700^{\circ}C$ were composed of two depressed arcs. Addition of YSZ to the LSM electrode significantly enlarged the triple-phase boundaries (TPB) length inside the electrode, which led to a pronounced decrease in cathodic resistivity of LSM-YSZ composite electrodes. Polishing the electrolyte surface to eliminate the influences of surface impurities and to enlarge the TPB length can further reduce cathode resistivity. The cathodic resistivity of the LSM- YSZ electrodes was a strong function of operation temperature, composition and particle size of cathode materials, applied current, and electrolyte surface roughness.

  • Domestic area of most be happened chloride deicer damage. Because daily mean temperature is below 0$^{\circ}C$ from the area of domestic most. Concrete durability influence Air Content. Presently, We used to AE(air-entraining agent) for increase freeze-thaw durability. So, on concrete Air Spacing ratio used $200{\mu}m{\sim}230{\mu}m$ in Canada and under $250{\mu}m$ in Japan institution. Use of Air content has been and will continue to be a major part of concrete durability and scaling. Chloride-containing chemicals such as calcium chloride or rock salt are main deicers for the road. The prepared optimum mix concrete in this study show that freeze-thaw and scaling resistance of Non-AE(air content 1.5%) and AE (air content 4.5%, 7.2%). Solution concentrations of deicing agent were good result, and the pore system and change of hydration products is not difference comparing before freeze-thaw test.

  • Considerable fuel in cars is consumed by air resistance. The flow resistance against the air stream was analyzed by flow analysis near the passenger car body. In this study, the models were used were cars available on the real market. Two velocities entered into inlet plane of flow were 80 km/h and 110 km/h using the flow analysis of CFX. As the study method, the velocity of air flow near the car and the pressure on the rear part of car body were investigated at the driving of car. The shapes of the study models were models 1 and 2, and the flow streams were four cases of 1, 2, 3, and 4. In case 1 among the four cases, the maximum pressure ($1.017{\times}10^5Pa$) on the rear part was highest and the maximum velocity (43.81m/s) of air flow near car body was fastest. The air drag force in the case of high speed (110km/h) driving a passenger car was higher than that of a normal driving speed (80km/h). The drag force at wide section area of the car body becomes higher than the narrow section area. The shape of the car body can be effectively designed to reduce the air resistance using the study results of this analysis.
