Web-Hased Control and Monitoring System Using LonWorks/Ethernet Sever for HVAC Application (LonWorks/Ethernet 서버를 이용한 HVAC의 Web 기반제어에 관한 연구)

  • 본 연구에서는 프랜트 및 빌딩자동제어 분야에서 적용이 확대되고 있는 LonWorks 필드버스를 이용하여 기존의 공기조화 시스템를 제어하고 있는 DDC제어기를 대체할 수 있도록 필드버스에서 사용이 가능한 고성능 저가의 지능형 제어모듈을 개발하였다. 이는 필드버스 기반의 AHU 전용 지능형제어기를 새로운 설계기술로 개발하고 상품화를 실현하였다. 특히 S/W부분에서도 8 bit Neuron chip에 매우 콤팩트하게 내재된 고성능 응용프로그램도 개발하였다. 또한 Echelon 사의 iLON 100 server의 Soap/XML을 사용하여 Web 브라우저에서 쉽게 프로그램을 작성 제어모니터링 기법을 개발하였다. 공조기의 실험시스템을 구축하여 개발된 전용 제어기 및 Web 기반제어를 실험한 결과 밸브, 댐퍼제어 및 감시기능이 기존 DDC 제어기보다 우수함을 확인하였으며 원격제어 기반을 구축하였다.

  • 본 연구는 웰빙 환경 조성에 적합한 습도센서, 온도센서와 기류센서를 이용한 쾌적도 측정시스템에 관한 것이다. 이 측정시스템이 나타내는 쾌적도는 기류와 온도에 민감하게 나타났다. 시스템을 위한 온도와 습도 일체형 센서와 기류센서를 설계 및 제작하고, 마이크로 컨트롤러에서 센서 신호를 측정하여 ISO7730에서 나타내는 예상온열 감지수(PMV)와 쾌적감 지수(CSV)를 계산하고, 각각의 계산 값을 LCD에 표시하도록 하였다. 인위의 환경에서 실험한 결과, 본 시스템이 공기조화시스템, 자동차 기류조정시스템, 가정과 사무실 병원 등의 많은 분야에 적용이 될 수 있음을 알 수 있었다.

Fan Noise Prediction Method of Air Conditioning and Cooling System (공기조화 및 냉각시스템의 팬 소음예측 기법)

  • Fan noise prediction method is presented for air conditioning and/or cooling system applications where fan acts as an internal equipment having very complicated flow interaction with other various system components. The internal flow paths and distribution in the fan-applied systems such as computer or air conditioner are analyzed by using the FNM(Flow Network Modeling) with the flow resistances for flow elements of the system. Based on the fan operation point predicted from the FNM analysis results, the present fan noise model predicts overall sound power, pressure levels and spectrum. The predictions of the flow distribution, the fan operation and the noise level in electronic system by the present method are well agreed with 3-D CFD and actual noise test results.

  • Internal flow characteristics for an automobile HVAC have been investigated using a high-resolution PIV technique. The PIV system consists of a 2-head Nd:YAG laser(125 mJ), a high-resolution CCD camera($2K\;{\times}\;2K$), optics and a synchronizer. An automobile HVAC module was used directly. Only the casing was remodeled transparently for capturing flow image and laser sheet beam illumination. Time-averaged velocity field were measured in three temperature control mode. For three temperature control modes, the internal flow characteristics for an automobile HVAC system were evaluated from PIV results..

  • The HVAC and the air duct is to make optimal indoor environment. By the HVAC position, method and the air duct construction, the important elements can affect on cooling performance, passengers' convenience, and energy efficiency. According to this, there are features, such as the indoor temperature distribution, cooling performance, velocity distribution from diffuser, tend to be come out variously. Also, comparing and analysing temperature distribution, cooling performance, air velocity, noise based on the real practical vehicle tests, it shows features in detail. Besides, it can lead to make design the system of HVAC & air duct effectively.

  • The flow characteristics under recirculation cool vent mode is numerically studied using commercial fluid dynamic code(CFX). For the reliable analysis, real vehicle and human FE model is employed in grid generation process. The geometrical location and shape of panel vent, and exhaust vent is set as that of real vehicle model. The flowrate of the working fluid is determined as 330CMH which is equivalent to 70 percent of maximum capacity of HVAC system. The high velocity regions are formed around 4 each panel vent. Because of the non-symmetrically located exhaust, non-uniform flow and partial backflow near the door trim is observed. Streaklines start from each panel vent show the flow pattern of the airflow in the passenger's compartment very well.

  • The objective of this study is to develop a rule-based fault detection and diagnosis algorithm and an experimental verification using air handling unit. To develop an analytical algorithm which precisely detects a faulted component, energy equations at each control volume of AHU were applied. An experimental verification was conducted in the AHU at Green Building in KIER. In the experiment conducted in hot summer condition, the rule based FDD algorithm isolated a faulted sensor from HVAC components.

  • Simulation on the hot water ONDOL heating system was made in order to investigate the variation of room temperature and specific fuel consumption of boiler. Heat balance equation was derived by response factors and solved implicitly. Variation of room temperature and specific fuel consumption of boiler were calculated with respect to the thickness of room floor, the absorptivity of wall for solar radiation, on-off temperature range of boiler and air exchange. The results show that specific fuel consumption of boiler is independent of the thickness of room floor and decreases with increasing the absorptivity of wall and on-off temperature range of boiler. However, it increases with increasing the air exchange. They also show that, when the absorptivity and on-off temperature range of boiler are increased, the amplitudes of room temperature variation increase.

  • 본 논문에서는 Semi-supervised Learning 방식의 이상감지 방법을 제안한다. 취득한 소음 데이터를 이미지화 시킨 후 Convolution AutoEncoder 학습 방법을 이용하여 모델을 학습한다. 고장 데이터와 정상 데이터 간의 데이터 불균형 문제가 대두되기 때문에 정상 데이터만을 활용한 이상감지는 실제 산업현장의 상황에 알맞게 사용할 수 있을 것이라 기대한다.

  • The study on ice thermal storage system is to improve total system performance in actual air-conditioning facilities. To attain the high efficiencies in ice thermal storage system, the improvement of thermal stratification is essential, therfore the process flow must be piston flow in thermal storage tank. Ice packing factor is better on condition that the inflowing temperature is low, the flow direction in the thermal storage is upward and the cylindericalthermal storage type is used. This result shows that the cylinderical ice storage tank has better storage capacity than the rectangular type in case of the same porocity.
