  • The metal-oxide-semiconductor field-effect transistor(MOSFET) has undergone many changes in the last decade in response to the constant demand for increased speed, decreased power, and increased patting density. The devices are scaled down day by day. Therefore, This paper investigates how MOSFET structures influence on transport properties in according to change of channel length and bias and, observes impact ionization between the drain and the gate. This paper proposes three models, i.e., conventional MOSFET, LDD MOSFET and EPI MOSFET. The gate lengths are 0.3$\mu\textrm{m}$ 0.15$\mu\textrm{m}$, 0.075$\mu\textrm{m}$ and scaling factor is λ = 2.   • There are three critical considerations in developing a PCM telemetry encoder to be installed in an artillery projectile. The first is the performance consideration, such as sampling rate and data transmission rate. The second is the size consideration due to the severely limited installation space in an artillery projectile and the last is the power consumption consideration due to limitations of the munition's power supply. To meet these three considerations, the best alternative is a one-chip solution. Using a commercially available TMS320F2812 DSP, we have implemented a 30-channel PCM telemetry encoder to process randomized data frames, composed of 16-channel analog data, 14-channel digital data and 2-frame synchronization channels per data frame at 10Mbps transmitting baud rate.

  • 인터넷의 발달과 스마트 디바이스의 등장은 기존의 쇼핑구조 및 쇼핑방식에 큰 변화를 가지고 왔으며, 소비자의 일상생활에도 주목할 만한 질적 성장과 발전을 이루게 하였다. 특히, 쇼핑구조는 소매점에서 대형 쇼핑몰로 오프라인 구매에서 인터넷과 스마트 디바이스를 통한 온라인 구매로 변화하고 있고, 쇼핑방식도 오프라인 매장에서 인터넷, 모바일 등 복수 채널을 종합해 고객경험 관리를 최대화하기 위한 옴니 채널의 형태로 급격하게 변하고 있다. 그러나 기존의 옴니 채널은, 고객의 상품 구매 경험을 극대화 시키는 데 중점을 두었기 때문에, 고객 입장에서 보면 채널별 제품정보(가격, 환불정책, 배송정보, 공급점포의 위치 등)의 부족 및 일관성이 결여되어 있어 최종 구매결정까지는 시간이 걸리고, 구매한 제품에 대한 만족도가 낮아서 반품 비율이 상당히 높은 것이 현실이다. 마찬가지로, 유통업체 입장에서 보면 제품의 유효기간, 재고 관리 등 유통과정에 있어서의 제품정보의 일관성이 결여되어 있어, 완전하고 정확한 최신 제품정보의 제공을 통한 소비자의 구매 유도에 큰 어려움을 겪고 있다. 본 논문은 멀티미디어(영상 및 음성) 식별기술을 이용하여, 기존(고객중심)의 옴니 채널이 가지고 있는 문제점을 해결하여, 소비자 및 유통업체에게 구매 및 관리에 충분하고 일관성이 있는 "제품정보 중심의 옴니 채널" 유통모델 및 구현에 관한 방법을 설명한다.

  • For a cooling performance research of the combustor operated in a extreme environment of a high temperature and high pressure, we accomplished a cooling performance analysis. Generally a heat transfer characteristic in cooling passage is known well experimentally and theoretically, however heat flux in the combustion chamber isn't. In this study, fluid flow combined with heat transfer and thermal structural analysis is accomplished about a combustor nozzle. We tried to analyze the cooling performance with a heat transfer characteristic of a gas and coolant side in the view point of quantity on the mass flow rate to be supplied to the cooling channel. And finally, evaluation on the thermal and structural safety of nozzle wall material was accomplished.

Pool Boiling Characteristics on the Microstructured surfaces with Both Rectangular Cavities and Channels (사각 공동 및 채널이 형성된 마이크로 구조 표면에서의 수조비등 특성연구)

  • Based on a surface design with rectangular cavities and channels, we investigated the effects of gravity and capillary pressure on pool-boiling Critical Heat Flux (CHF). The microcavity structures could prevent liquid flow by the capillary pressure effect. In addition, the microchannel structures contributed to induce one-dimensional liquid flow on the boiling surface. The relationship between the CHF and capillary flow was clearly established. The driving potentials for the liquid supply into a boiling surface can be generated by the gravitational head and capillary pressure. Through an analysis of pool boiling and visualization data, we reveal that the liquid supplement to maintain the nucleate boiling condition on a boiling surface is closely related to the gravitational pressure head and capillary pressure effect.

  • An analytical subthreshold swing (SS) model has been presented for double gate MOSFET(DGMOSFET) in this study. The results calculated by this model are more precise for about 10nm channel length and thickness than those derived from the previous models. The results of this model are compared with Medici simulation to varify the validity of this model, and good agreementes have been obtained. The changes of SS have been investigated for various channel lengths, channel thicknesses and gate oxide thicknesses using this model, given that these parameters are very important in design of DGMOSFET. This demonstrates that the proposed model provides useful data for design of nano-scale DGMOSFET. It is Known that the SS is improved to smaller ratios of channel thickness vs channel length and is smaller in very thin oxides. New gate dielectric materials with high permittivity have to be developed to enable design of nano-scale DGMOSFET.

  • This paper deals with the longitudinal study on the supply & demand-side diversity of digital media service. The purpose of this study is to measure the diversity of contents supply and demand-side of digital media platform providers by longitudinal data and discuss the implication. In the approval and re-authorization of pay-TV broadcasters, there were attempts to measure diversity indicators as items to evaluate the publicness and public interest of broadcasting, but they are mainly limited to the method of measuring diversity in the short-term supply side. Thus researcher wants to confirm the evaluation of two aspects through this study. First, researcher proposes a demand-side measurement methodology that utilizes actual audience data from users, and second, a longitudinal evaluation methodology that evaluates long-term trends of diversity change. Researcher has secured the actual supply and demand data of the platform player and confirmed trends of longitudinal diversification indexing for 50 months from 2012 to 2017. Through this research, researcher expects that the supply and demand-side and the longitudinal diversity evaluation will be utilized in a balanced way of publicness and public interest evaluation of broadcasting.

Research on ANN based on Simulated Annealing in Parameter Optimization of Micro-scaled Flow Channels Electrochemical Machining (미세 유동채널의 전기화학적 가공 파라미터 최적화를 위한 어닐링 시뮬레이션에 근거한 인공 뉴럴 네트워크에 관한 연구)

  • In this paper, an artificial neural network based on simulated annealing was constructed. The mapping relationship between the parameters of micro-scaled flow channels electrochemical machining and the channel shape was established by training the samples. The depth and width of micro-scaled flow channels electrochemical machining on stainless steel surface were predicted, and the flow channels experiment was carried out with pulse power supply in NaNO3 solution to verify the established network model. The results show that the depth and width of the channel predicted by the simulated annealing artificial neural network with "4-7-2" structure are very close to the experimental values, and the error is less than 5.3%. The predicted and experimental data show that the etching degree in the process of channels electrochemical machining is closely related to voltage and current density. When the voltage is less than 5V, a "small island" is formed in the channel; When the voltage is greater than 40V, the lateral etching of the channel is relatively large, and the "dam" between the channels disappears. When the voltage is 25V, the machining morphology of the channel is the best.

  • Frequency resource value is growing more and more with the development of the wireless communication. With the advent of the current information society comes a serious shortage of frequency resource, as the amount of supply is far from meeting its demands. Thus, cognitive radio (CR) technique is receiving more attention as a way to make use of the temporarily unoccupied frequency resource. In this paper we propose a novel out-of-band spectrum sensing and dynamic channel access scheme for frequency hopping-based cognitive radio ad-hoc networks. At the beginning of each current channel hopping time, member nodes perform spectrum sensing for the next hopping channel. Based on the proposed collision free primary detection notification, member nodes can determine whether they should execute a hopping time extension procedure of the current channel or not. When the primary detected hopping channel is re-idled, the hopping pattern recovery procedure is performed. In this paper we evaluated the performance of the proposed dynamic sensing and hopping channel extension mechanism for the various wireless network conditions. As a result, we show that the proposed method can increase channel utilization and provide reliable channel management operation.

  • 신호잡음 제거 및 대역 선택용으로 사용되고 있는 필터의 특성을 보정하기 위한 전압 안정화 회로를 설계하기 위한 방법으로 전류비교 방식의 전압안정화 회로를 설계하였다. 제안된 전류비교 방식의 전압안정화 회로는 부가적인 회로가 추가로 필요하지 않아 칩 면적을 최소화 할 수 있고, 저전력 특성을 만족시키는 전류 비교 방식을 이용하여 원하고자 하는 각각의 채널 선택에 따른 제어 전압을 안정적으로 공급함으로써 주파수 특성을 유지시킬 수 있다. 설계된 전류비교방식을 통하여 전류를 감지 및 비교하여 자동적으로 보상하고 원하는 채널에 따라 각각의 제어 전압을 일정하게 유지될 수 있음을 시뮬레이션 결과를 통하여 확인하였다.
