This study examines the effects of supplier dependence on supply chain relationships, communication practices, and relationship performance in manufacturing-part companies. The structural equation modeling technique with AMOS 23.0 was used to test hypotheses using data collected in the research model. The results show that supplier dependence positively affects supply chain relationships and communication practices. In addition, the results confirm the effect of supply chain relationships and communication practices on relationship performance. It is also demonstrated that supply chain relationships and communication practices through supplier dependence play a key role in improving relationship performance for supply chain management. Furthermore, it contributes to the practice of supply chain management as well as to efficiency through collaborative activities of supplier-buyer in the supply chain processes.

This study aims to empirically analyze the structural effects of partnership characteristics between buyers and suppliers on the performance in supply chains. To this end, an in-depth literature review was performed in advance and four partnership characteristics involving information sharing, participativeness, interdependence, solidarity were identified, and a research model was validated by incorporating collaboration, trust, satisfaction. To analyze data collected from 124 companies, structural equation modeling was employed to test hypotheses proposed in this study and the findings are shown as follow. First, the partnership between buyers and suppliers was confirmed to have a positive effect on collaboration, trust and satisfaction. Second, both of trust and satisfaction were found to positively influence collaboration. Third, our findings also validated that collaboration and trust between buyers and suppliers had significant influences on supply chain performance, however, we found no evidence of a statistically significant relationship between satisfaction and performance. Based on these findings, discussions on the implications of this study and suggestions for further research were given finally.

지난 호에 일제 강점기의 석유관련 법령의 변천을 소개한데 이어, 이번호에서는 미군정 및 한미석유협정시기의 석유관련 법령의 변천과정을 소개한다. 한미석유협정은 한미경제원조협정중 석유에 관한 내용의 이행을 위하여 1949.1.4 최초로 체결된 이후 1949.10.1, 1955.8.6, 1964.5.12의 3차례 체결되어 모두 4개의 협정시기로 다시 나눌 수 있는데, 이 시기의 석유제품 공급은 미국의 원조에 의존했다. 1964.4월부터 대한석유공사의 정제시설 준공으로 석유제품의 생산 및 공급이 대한석유공사법 및 대한석유공사에 의해 이루어지고, 1970.2월부터는 석유사업법이 시행되는데, 이 때까지의 변천내용을 정리하였다.

우리나라의 석유류제품가격이 외국에 비해 전반적으로 높은 이유는 고율의 특소세와 석유기금등 정부부문비용이 차지하는 폭이 크고 경질유 수요가 낮아 권유수율상의 수익성이 낮은데 기인하는 것으로 정유사의 통제범위외의 구조적인 요인에서 비롯되고 있다. 따라서 국내석유수요의 일부를 제품수입에 장기의존할 경우 국내석유류안정 공급이 크게 위협받게 될 것이다.

2001년 11월 7일. 국내 유수의 언론사들은 한국의 조그마한 벤처기업이 세계적인 컴퓨터 그룹 애플컴퓨터사와 맺은 프로그램 공급계약 소식을 전했다. 전적으로 수입에 의존해 오던 전자출판 프로그램이었기에 세간의 관심을 끌기에 충분했던 화제의 소프트웨어는 세간에 잘 알려지지 않은 조그마한 벤처기업 소프트매직(대표 김민수, www.softmagic.com)에서 개발한 'Porject M' 이었다.

Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) is a strategic partnership activity for an enterprise and is expected to be a significant performance element in the current enterprise environment where uncertainty is growing. Despite the effective SRM allows companies to manage quality and inventory throughout their logistics procurement process with their suppliers and increase the profitability of the company, there is a scarce of theory about supplier relationship management (SRM) and many companies are not aware of the importance of SRM and depend only on simple electronic purchasing methods. Therefore, I analyze the H Company as a case company, which is a large domestic company and has reached 2,500 domestic and overseas suppliers. SRM process and its effects are evaluated as (1) Purchasing strategy division 2) Process division (3) IT infrastructure division. By analyzing SRM as one of the management strategies that bring the overall value of enterprise performance up, and by looking at how domestic large corporations manage their suppliers, I hope that manufacturers with many suppliers will recognize the importance of SRM and build an SRM tailored to their business.

쌍용정유는 윤활기유 생산을 위한 최신공정인 Gulf 특허의 수질첨가 개질공정을 채택, 일본, 카나다에 이에 세계에서 3번째로 건설된 공장으로서 국내 수요전량을 수입에만 의존해 오던 재래식 공정인 용제유출 방식의 윤활기유를 대신하여, 최고급 품질의 윤활기유를 국내에 안정적으로 공급할 수 있는 확고한 기반을 마련하고 지난 5년여 동안 국내수요에 적극 공급해오고 있다. 일반적으로 볼때 쌍용정유에서 생산.공급하고 있는 윤활기유는 국내 각 정유사등 윤활유배합(제조)회사에 공급되어 용제에 따라 첨가제를 배합하는등, 소포장 단계를 거쳐 일반수요자에게 판매되는데, 완제품 윤활유의 사용은 대략 65% 정도가 자동차에 쓰여지고 있으며 공장등 산업시설에 23%, 선박, 기타 용도로 12%정도의 사용분포를 보이고 있다. 산화, 열안정성은 기유의 생명 불순물제거 완벽, 색상 뛰어나 수질첨가 개질공정은 재래식 공정인 용제추출 방식과 어떤 차이점을 갖고, 제품의 특성이 어떤 차이를 나타내는가를 알아보기 위해서는 2가지 방식에 의한 제품의 장단점을 비교해보는 것이 바람직하다고 하겠다.

오늘날 국민생활에 전기의 의존도는 날로 높아지고 또한 매우 다양하고 고품질의 전력공급을 요구하고 있으며 정보산업사회로의 진입에 따라 고객의 기대수준에 전력공급설비의 발달이 미처 따라주지 못하고 있어 고객에게 감동을 주는 서비스의 실현이 더욱 어려워지고 있는 것이 현실이다. 특히 서울 명동지역은 구건물의 밀집지역으로 상권이 형성되어 있고 외국인 관광객들의 명소로 점차 자리잡아 가고 있는데 반해 전력공급설비는 국내 초기 지중화지역으로 기기설치 공간이 부족하여 노후된 건물 옥상에 다수의 변압기, 케이블이 설치 운영되고 있어 설비관리의 어려움뿐만 아니라 신규전력공급에 부응치 못하는 한계에 도달, 특히 밀집상가의 화재발생 우려 등 많은 문제점으로 안정적 전력공급을 위한 대책이 절실히 요구되는 상황이 되었다. 따라서 이 난해한 문제의 해결과 설비개선을 위해 보다 근원적인 대책을 모색하고자 ‘99년 초 한국전력공사 서울지역본부에 설비혁신 Task-Force를 운영, 명동지역에 가칭 배전 Station 건설을 포함한 종합정비사업을 추진키로 하였다. $\ulcorner$배전 Station$\lrcorner$ 이란 건물 내에 개폐기, 변압기 등 전력기기를 모두 수용하여 전력을 공급하는 소형 배전형 변전소 형태로 국내는 물론 세계적으로도 찾아보기 힘든 경우라 할 것이다. 건울과 설비가 복잡하기로 유명한 유서 깊은 명동지역의 특수한 주변 환경과 조화된 안정적 전력공급의 획기적인 대안으로 실현되고 있는 영동 배전 Station은 현재 3개소를 추진하여 준공단계에 있으며 도심건물 밀집지역의 전력공급에 만전을 다할 것으로 기대하고 있다.

IT에 대한 의존도와 그에 따른 투자 비용이 증가함에 따라 IT거버넌스에 대한 관심이 높아지고 있는 추세이다. 또한 IT아웃소싱 시장의 확대, 계약 규모의 증가로 인해 IT 아웃소싱의 효과적인 운영에 대한 관심도 또한 높아지게 되면서 IT 서비스 제공을 위한 표준 등 프로세스를 기반으로 한 IT 서비스 관리가 주요 이슈로 떠올랐다. 본 연구는 국내 SI업체 V공급사와 그의 4개의 고객사를 대상으로 고객사와 공급사의 IT거버넌스 및 IT 서비스 관리에 대한 인식에 따른 IT아웃소싱 성공을 평가하였다. 자료의 수집은 IT거버넌스와 IT서비스 관리 프로세스 부문에 대해서는 관련 전문가(key informant)들을 대상으로 인터뷰와 설문을 통해 이루어졌고, IT아웃소싱 성공 평가는 고객사의 사용자(end user)를 대상으로 설문하여 약 200개의 데이터를 확보하였다. 그 결과 IT거버넌스와 IT 서비스 관리 성숙도가 IT아웃소싱 성과에 영향을 끼치는 것으로 나타났으며, IT 아웃소싱 성과를 평가하는 차원들끼리도 전체 만족도에 대해 영향을 미치는 것으로 조사되었다. 본 연구는 IT거버넌스와 IT서비스 관리 프로세스 성숙도가 IT아웃소싱 성과에 미치는 영향을 제시함으로써 IT거버넌스의 중요성을 인식시키고 IT서비스 관리 프로세스 시스템 도입을 고려하는 기업에 지침을 제공하고자 한다.

전력수요의 증대로 발전기 전압제어를 통해 전력계통의 안정과 양질의 전력공급의 중요한 역할을 하는 여자시스템의 중요성이 한층 더 증대되었다. 본 논문은 선진 외국 제작사 기술에 전적으로 의존하고 있는 발전기 제어시스템을 순수 국내기술로 개발하여 교체하기 위해 제어시스템의 개발내용과 모의시험 및 현장 적용을 통한 시험 및 성능을 평가한 내용을 기술하였다.
