A Study on the Korean traditional interior space and major elements in contemporary apartment (아파트 내부에 나타난 한국전통 실내 공간의 특성 및 구성 요소에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of this study was investigate the consistency of Korean traditional space in apartment. Fifty-two apartments and its dwellers were selected for field survey research and questionnaire. The major findings were summarized as follows: First, the space layout which has its origin in Korean traditional house was found in contemporary apartment and favored than that of western apartment. Second, among the Korean traditional space characteristics, the openness and closeness were found between the living room and room, living room and dining room, dining room and kitchen. Third, the heating system has been being changed from radiator to on-dol. Also favored finishing materials were revealed on-dol wood flooring and picture window for the living room, jang-pan flooring and Korean lattice window for the master room, wall covering for every wall and ceiling.

  • 친수환경으로서의 수변공간의 활용은 위락공간 및 자연환경으로서 도시민의 삶의 질 향상에 매우 큰 의미를 지닌다. 서울시민의 대표적인 친수환경 공간인 한강시민공원은 조성 이후 이용자에게 위락 및 자연공간으로서 그 역할을 다하여 왔으나 최근에 급증하고 있는 이상기상현상과 국지적 집중호우의 증가에 따라 도시지역 및 상류지역의 홍수 발생시에는 한강시민공원의 폐쇄와 함께 이용자의 접근을 사전통제하거나 신속하게 대피시켜 안전을 도모하여야 한다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 한강시민공원이 침수되는 상황을 모의분석하기 위해 필요한 각종 기본 자료와 매개변수에 대한 고찰을 실시하였고, 팔당댐 방류량에 따른 1차원 및 2차원 수치모형을 통한 한강시민공원의 홍수위 영향을 분석하였다. 본 연구에서 분석한 결과는 홍수 발생시 한강시민공원의 합리적인 이용 및 관리와 이용자의 안전 및 비상대처계획 등의 수립에 있어서 중요한 자료로 활용될 수 있을 것이다.

  • Recently, a lot of life damage caused by disaster have happened in the underground space. Because the space is closed areas and used by the unspecific majority. Therefore there are many kinds of emergency equipments for diminishing the life damage in case of the disaster. In this paper, we propose the retrieval system for the administrator. Our system provides the function for searching the descriptive information and spatial information of the equipment management. And the administrator can manage underground disaster equipments effectively through the system.

A study on the effect of the magnitude of the gable bends on the tooth movement pattern during on-masse space closure in the maxillary dentition (상악전치 후방 견인시 견인 loop후방에 부여한 gable bend 양에 따른 치아이동 양상에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of this experimental study was to determine appropriate magnitude of the Gable bends to produce maximum retraction of the anterior teeth. The Calorific Machine was used to illustrate the tooth movement in three dimension. The experimental teeth except the first premolar were embedded in the artificial alveolar bone part. In a series of experiments, the extraction space was closed using arch wires with bull loops into which the gable bends of $10^{\circ},\;20^{\circ},\;30^{\circ}$ degrees were incorporated. The experiments were repeated three times for each degree of the gable bend. Before and after the space closure, radiographs were taken in the sagittal and occlusal directions using occlusal films. Analysis of variance and Scheffe post hoc test were used to determine significant differences among the three groups. The following results were obtained. 1. As magnitudes of the gable bends increased, more bodily anterior tooth movement was seen and the distance of retraction also increased. 2. As magnitudes of the gable bends increase, the amount of posterior tooth protraction decreased while intrusive and buccal movement increased. 3. The arch was coordinated by distal-in rotation of the canine and mesial-in rotation of the second premolar adjacent to the extraction space.

Spatial distribution of Acartia(Copepoda, Calanoida) species in the southern coastal waters of Korea during summer (하계 남해연안에 출현하는 Acartia속 요각류의 공간 분포)

  • The occurrence patterns of Acartia(Copepoda; Calanoida) species, A. erythraea, A. hongi, A. hudsonica, A. ohtsukai, and A. sinjiensis, were examined in the southern coastal waters of Korea in the summer in August 2012. The Acartia species had different spatial distribution according to environmental factors. A. erythraea showed higher density in a semi-closed bay (Gamak, Masan) where the dissolved oxygen was low (<2 mg L-1). A. sinjiensis showed a high density in a semi-closed bay when the chlorophyll-a concentration was >2 ㎍ L-1. A. ohtsukai showed a high density at water temperatures >26℃ and low salinity <30. A. hongi and A. hudsonica showed at water temperatures <27℃ and high dissolved oxygen (>5 mg L-1). These results suggest that environmental factors (temperature, salinity, dissolved oxygen, and chlorophyll-a concentration) may affect the spatial distribution of Acartia species dominant in the southern coasts of Korea in summer.

Pool Boiling Heat Transfer in a Vertical Annulus with a Longer Outside Tube (외부 튜브 길이가 긴 수직 환상공간 내부의 풀비등 열전달)

  • To investigate pool boiling heat transfer in a vertical annulus with closed bottoms, the length of an outer tube was varied between 0.3 and 0.6 m. For the test, a heated tube of 0.2-m length and 19.1-mm diameter and water at atmospheric pressure were used. To elucidate the effects of the outer tube length on heat transfer, the results for the annulus were compared with data for a single unrestricted tube. The increase in the outer tube length resulted in an increase or decrease in heat transfer depending on the gap size. This tendency is mainly attributed to the difference in the intensity of liquid agitation.

인터넷 지식공유에 영향을 미치는 요인 연구 : 사회적자본 이론과 자기표현욕구를 중심으로

  • 기존의 지식공유에 관한 연구들은 KMS를 중심으로 연구를 진행하였다. 그러나 최근에는 폐쇄적 성격을 가진 KMS 뿐만 아니라 개방적인 성격의 인터넷 공간에서도 지식 공유활동이 활발하게 일어나고 있다. 네이버의 지식인, 포털 사이트들의 지식공유 공간들은 그 중요한 예가 될 것이다. 이런 인터넷 공간에서의 지식공유에 행동에 대한 연구는 미비하기 때문에 이에 대한 연구가 필요한다. 본 연구에서는 이런 상황들은 고찰하여 사회적자본 이론(Social Capital Theory)과 자기표현 개념을 중심으로, 인터넷 지식공유에 미치는 영향 요인들을 밝히고자 시도하였다. 실증분석을 위해서 구조모형을 제안하였으며 PLS를 사용하여 분석하였다. 결과적으로 사회적자본과 자기표현은 지식공유의도에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.

  • The urban land is incapacitated to grow and correspond to demand the space in urban area. And recently, rapid increasing of population and complex of urban function on pushed to develop the underground space. In Korea, the underground space development in inefficient in aspect. because development of underground space have not consistent and systematic planning method in underground environment inclounding interion design, extererior design. Therefore this study is suggested the design element for comfortable underground living environment and assortment on utilization of underground space. The results of this study on utilization are security of space through land use efficiency, conservation of historical place, building and natural environment, and technological characteristics, mental image. Accordingly, this study is proposed design element that make comfortable underground space as aspect from stimulation and diversity, sapciousness and feeling of warmth and dryness to compensate improper image of underground space, spacial orientation and way finding.

  • 최근 웹 기반 GIS는 자료의 공유가 폐쇄적인 로컬 GIS 시스템에서 벗어나 대용량의 자료를 손쉽게 인터넷을 통하여 서로 주고 받을 수 있어서 이용속도가 아주 빠르게 확산되고 있다. 그러나, 현재 웹 상에서 작동되는 GIS 시스템은 2차원 매핑(mapping)이나, 위치정보 안내서비스 위주의 시스템으로, 실제 업무에 적용하기 위한 자료의 전송 및 분석에 제약이 많다. 특히, 본 연구에서 대상으로 하는 지하시설물은 지하공간의 불가시성으로 인해 기존의 2차원적인 관리로는 효과적인 관리가 어렵기 때문에, 지하시설물을 3차원으로 시각화하고, 분석, 관리해주는 도구가 절실히 필요한 실정이다. 따라서 본 연구는 현재까지의 인터넷 GIS기술과 지하시설물의 관리에 대한 현황 및 문제점을 먼저 기술하고, 기존의 상용 GIS 시스템에 구축된 지하시설물 데이터를 웹 상에서 3차원으로 시각화 및 분석 정보를 제공하기 위한 3차원 데이터 구조를 설계하고, 네트워크 상에서 3차원 데이터 및 공간 분석 결과를 효율적으로 전송하기 위한 3차원 공간 데이터 서버를 설계 및 구현하였다. 또한 JAVA와 VRML 등의 인터넷 기술을 응용하여 웹 상에서 지하시설물 데이터의 3차원 시각화 및 능동적인 조작 및 관리, 분석이 가능한 3차원 지하시설물 관리시스템을 설계 및 구현하였다.

RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN NASOPHARYNGEAL SPACE AND VELOPHARYNGEAL INCOMPETENCE IN CLEFT PALATE (구개열환자에서 비인두공간과 비인강폐쇄부전과의 연관성)

  • Nasopharyngeal closure is a sphincter mechanism between the activities of the soft palate, lateral pharyngeal wall and the posterior pharyngeal wall, which divides the oral cavity and the nasal cavity. It participates in physiological activities such as swallowing, breathing and pronunciation. In case of an error in this mechanism, it is called a nasopharyngeal incompetence. The causes of this error are defects in (1) length, function, posture of the soft palate (2) depth and width of the nasopharynx, (3) activity of the posterior and lateral pharyngeal wall. The purpose of this study is to analyze the nasopharynx of cleft palate patients using lateral cephalograms and at the same time, evaluate the degree of hypernasality of each vowels to find its relationship with nasopharyngeal incompetence. The following results were obtained: 1. The length of the soft palate was markedly short than normal. 2. The adequate ratio was smaller than the normal value. 3. As the adequate ratio decreased, when articulating vowels, anatomic mVPI increased. 4. When articulating each vowels, anatomic VPI was in proportion with the degree of hypernasality. 5. The degree of hypernasality was greater in high vowels(/i/, /u/) than low vowel(/a/). From the above results, it can be concluded that in cleft palate patients, lateral cephalograms can be used effectively in diagnosing and evaluating nasopharyngeal incompetence. The anatomic structure of the nasopharynx has close relation to the degree of hypernasality.
