This study was conducted to develop a tool to investigate and analyze the educational effect of the school space innovation project, which is being promoted on a large scale at the national level. In order to analyze the educational effect of school space innovation, it is first necessary to analyze the structure of the space altered by the school space innovation. Research and analysis should be possible, so a user survey tool was developed for this purpose. It is expected that the survey tool in this study can be used for pre-investigation in the pre-planning stage of the school space innovation project and as a post-evaluation tool for investigating and analyzing the educational effects of space innovation.

The goal of this study was to investigate the implementation and related issues of the school space innovation issued by key Korean mass media using text mining. To accomplish this goal, this study collected 519 news articles associated with the school space innovation issued by 54 Korean mass media companies. Based on this data, this study performed the frequency analysis and network analysis regarding the keywords. Based on the findings, the characteristics of school space innovation are summarized as follows: First, school space innovation has progressed in response to future education. Second, users are actively participating in school space innovation. Third, experts are supporting the innovation of school space by establishing a cooperative system. Fourth, the community is actively considering the innovation of school space. Fifth, the main projects of the Ministry of Education and the Provincial Offices of Education are actively conducted in a mix of top-down and bottom-up approaches. The findings of this study will contribute to providing a clear direction for contemporary school space innovation and implications for future research agenda and implementation.

This study was to research and analyze the concept of school space innovation to aim at the importance of user educational value. The purpose of this study is to analyze the needs of students, teachers, or consumers connected with the educational autonomous innovative curriculum and various school-government educational activities and suggest the ways to link school space innovation to the best possible reflection for demander-centered or the demander needs To this end, the basic concepts of the autonomous education and school space innovation were reviewed, and the literature survey on the revised education curriculum in 2015 and educational autonomous innovation curriculum at the national level, educational goals and basic value-added awareness of the curriculum. The purpose was to research the perception of students and teachers through the survey and analysis of basic values of education, the functions of school education, the direction of school environment and space spatial composition, and school space.

This paper attempts to analyze spatial determinants of innovative activities at the municipal level in Korea, capitalizing upon spatial econometric techniques. Several spatially weighted matrices will be employed, implying diverse spatial conceptions and interactions. A contribution can be have been made to enhancing an understanding of the spatial interaction and structure of knowledge spillovers in Korea.

With sensor and communication technology development, spatial data related to business activities is exploding. Spatial data is now evolving into atypical data about space over three dimensions, away from two-dimensional geographic data. In addition to the Fourth Industrial Revolution, which connects the virtual space with the real space, there is a great opportunity for companies to utilize it. The analysis of recent overseas cases shows that it is possible to analyze customized services by understanding the situation of customers and objects located in the space, to manage risk, and furthermore to innovate business processes by analyzing spatial data. In the future, business innovation that combines spatial data from various sources and real-time analysis of relationships and situations between people and objects in space is expected to expand in all business fields.

"4차 산업 혁명"으로 대변되는 사회전반에 걸친 변화는 일상에서의 혁신과 일상적인 혁신을 필요로 하고 있다. 또한 국가차원에서 가능한 모든 혁신자산을 효율적으로 관리 운영하고 지속적으로 새로운 혁신자산을 확보하는 것이 국가경쟁력 향상의 제일목표가 되가고 있다. 이러한 시대 요구속에서 "메이커 운동(maker movement)"은 변화요구에 대응할 수 있는 대중(grassroot)혁신활동으로 주목받고 있다. 특히 메이커운동의 주요 활동공간인 '메이커 스페이스(makerspace)'는 메이커들이 서로의 지식을 나누고 자원과 결과물을 공유, 협업하는 장소로 최근에는 (예비)창업자를 위한 창업준비공간으로 기능을 확장하고 있다. 우리나라의 경우에도 2010년 이후 다양한 형태의 '메이커 스페이스'를 혁신기반육성을 위한 정책차원에서 지원하고 있다. 중소벤처기업부는 "메이커 스페이스" 확대 사업을 2018년부터 추진 중이며 '일반랩'과 '전문랩'으로 세분화 하여 '일반랩'은 메이커 입문과 기본단계에 있는 초보 메이커들을 위한 'Zero to Maker' 공간으로, '전문랩'은 전문가(창업가)들을 위한 'Maker to Maker(Market)' 공간으로 역할을 분할하여 지원하고 있다. 본 연구는 주목받고 있는 사회문화 현상이며 변화환경에 대응하기 위한 정책수단으로 활용되고 있는 메이커 관련 주제 중 메이커들이 활동하는 공간(메이커스페이스)에 대한 연구이다. 지금까지 메이커스페이스들 관한 국내외 주요 연구에 대하여 조사하고 최근 메이커스페이스에 요구되고 있는 기능적 확장을 위한 연구필요성 및 연구방향에 대해 논하고자 한다. 특히 창업 경영학적 관점에서 메이커스페이스 관련 연구의 필요성과 구체적인 연구 분야를 제시한다.

Innovation in university library spaces is challenging to effectively support the education of the university's future learning and innovation capabilities, including creativity, critical thinking, communication and collaboration. The purpose of this study is to investigate the perception and need of library space from the perspective of users and librarians, and to suggest the direction of space innovation through this. For this study, we designed each questionnaire for users and librarians, and collected responses from 363 users and 186 librarians in the university library to analyze their needs and perceptions about their library space. The librarian's need for the space was analyzed by the size of the library and the demographic factors of the librarian. The user's need was analyzed by the user's attributes. In addition, we analyzed the differences between librarians and users for the need for space and space services. The results of this paper may be useful for reference when planning a new library or building a space based on user.

The downsizing of schools is accelerating due to a rapid decline in the school-age population, and as the crisis over regional and school disappearance increases, the need for smaller schools to respond to future educational needs is increasing. Through flexible curricula and digital/artificial intelligence-based classroom teaching improvements, students' satisfaction with school life, student creativity and character development, improved academic achievement, and strengthened cooperative communication capabilities will be observed, and teachers' teaching and learning methods will change. Educational effects such as these are important, and transforming school facilities into future-oriented spaces, including school space innovation, is required to accomplish them. This study examined the future of education systems in small schools, focusing on analyzing the educational effects and awareness of the sustainability of spatial innovation, in terms of school space changes, school education correlation, and smart environment, to develop innovation projects in small schools. A desirable direction for implementation is presented.
