Recently, speaker localizing estimation technique has been rising in teleconference systems. In this paper, it was described to be able to enhance the speech quality through microphone array, and received the only signal of speaker. Unfortunately, as it using estimated the signal in advance, it is not matched in a real acoustic environment so it has poor performance. In this paper is proposed for Adaptive Matched Filter Microphone Array that estimated acoustic room environment from the received the signal and study of the efficiency through simulations.

The increase of elderly population is inevitable a universal trend in developed countries. The Korea also followed this tendency. Especially the elderly population in Korea has been rapidly increasing since the 1990s. The rural population is aging more rapidly than the urban one because younger generations move into the urban area, due to better jobs and children education's opportunities. However, the majority of studies on population ageing are focused on the urban area rather than the rural ones. Rural areas also have been excluded as a priority of the national welfare policy for the elderly people. This paper tries to analyze the population ageing among regions and to identify the regional disparity between the elderly people and the level of public services in the rural area. Based upon these results, this study notes some policy alternatives for the improvement of quality of life of the rural elderly. It also suggests on the suitable location of public service facilities in the rural areas.
In 2016 Kumamoto, Japan, the foreshocks of $M_j$ 6.5 and 6.4, mainshock of $M_j$ 7.3 besides more than 2,000 aftershocks occurred in succession. Large surface deformation occurred due to this serial earthquakes and three-dimensional measurements of the deformation have been presented for the study of fault structures (Baek, 2017). The 3d measurements retrieved from two ascending pairs (20160211_20160602, 20151119_20160616) and a descending pair (20160307_20160418) acquired from ALOS PALSAR-2. In order to avoid mixing ionospheric error components on along-track surface deformation, the descending multiple-aperture interferogram, which do not contain the deformation of aftershocks after 20160418, was utilized. For these reason, there was a temporal discrepancy of about 2 months in extracting the north-south deformation. In this study, we applied a directional filter based ionospheric correction to ascending multiple-aperture interferograms, in order to reduce this discrepancy and understand more accurate fault movements. As a result of the ionospheric correction, an additional displacement signal was observed nearby fault lines. The root-mean-squared errors compared to GPS were about 9.87, 8.13 cm respectively. These results show improvements of 4.8 and 6.4 times after ionospheric correction. We expected that these along-track measurements would be used to decide more accurate movements of faults related to the 2016 Kumamoto Earthquake.

The purpose of this study is a development of an automatic mosaicing for applying to large number of airborne multispectral images, which reduces manual operation by human. 2436 airborne multispectral images were acquired from DuncanTech MS4100 camera with three bands; green, red and near infrared. LIDAR(LIght Detection And Ranging) data and GPS/INS(global positioning system/inertial navigation system) data were collected with the multispectral images. First, the multispectral images were converted to image patterns by unsupervised classification. Their patterns were compared with those of adjacent images to derive relative spatial position between images. Relative spatial positions were derived for 80% of the whole images. Second, it accomplished an automatic mosaicing using GPS/INS data and unsupervised classification. Since the time of GPS/INS data did not synchronized the time of readout images, synchronized GPS/INS data with the time of readout image were selected in consecutive data by comparing unsupervised classified images. This method realized mosaicing automatically for 96% images and RMSE (root mean square error) for the spatial precision of mosaiced images was only 1.44 m by validation with LIDAR data.

It is necessary to employ the interpolation technique to resolve problems, which are associated with the characteristic locus in time-distance space, in the unsteady analysis of pipe flow. Various interpolation methods such as linear timeline interpolation, linear spaceline interpolation, wave speed adjustment, cubic spaceline interpolation and cubic timeline interpolation have been suggested and tested to investigate the interpolation error. Performance of various interpolation techniques was evaluated both a single pipeline and a complex one. The range of error was calculated as the courant number varied between 0 and 1 in a single pipeline. Reorganization of computational element and proper selection of interpolation method are found to be prerequisites for the effective computation of unsteady analysis.

This study investigates the wage determination process of regional labor markets in order to understand the regional dimension of labor market processes in Korean metropolitan cities. Since the financial crisis in late 1997, the interplay between labor market restructuring such as unemployment and skill polarization and income disparity has been shaped by the labor market process in the metropolitan cities. This is also closely related to the fact that both industrial restructuring and expanding information technologies in the metropolitan region have reshaped the labor demand structure and finally resulted in structural unemployment due to skill mismatch and spatial mismatch and wage inequality across different occupations. In addition, since wage determination process clearly has a regional dimension, wage determination and its influence on income profile in a certain regional labor market need to be understood by investigating its labor market characteristics including labor supply and demand structure, industrial changes, changing unemployment, etc. This is why labor market policy as a regional policy needs to be redefined and it can be much enhanced by geographical investigation on regional labor market.

Fire stations should be located in optimal location to act quickly in case of emergency and minimize damages as a public facility that protects life and property of local residents. Siting fire stations without regard for the accessibility and occurrence factors of an accident may provide fire service unequally. Therefore service analysis is necessary to reduce the blind spot of disaster and safety and to offer equal fire-service at this time. Especially fire stations can service more efficiently than before by reducing a more likely vulnerable area. This study suggests methods of mapping index of value that represents vulnerability of the occurrence of an accident and extracting service zone map of fire stations, as an initial research for offering efficient fire service. Geographical distribution mismatch between service zone map and vulnerability map is figured out and vulnerable area for fire service is defined by using map overlay method.

3D building modeling from airborne Lidar without model regularization may cause positional errors or topological inconsistency in building models. Regularization of 3D building models, on the other hand, restricts the types of models which can be reconstructed. To resolve these issues, this paper modelled 3D buildings from airborne Lidar by building model regularization which considers more various types of buildings. Building points are first segmented into roof planes by clustering in feature space and segmentation in object space. Then, 3D building models are reconstructed by consecutive adjustment of planes, lines, and points to satisfy parallelism, symmetry, and consistency between model components. The experimental results demonstrated that the method could make more various types of 3d building models with regularity. The effects of regularization on the positional accuracies of models were also analyzed quantitatively.

As the results of the information project, manufacturing of the digital map and various thematic maps of the national land has been completed. Furthermore, it is necessary to organize a systemized management system, which can control and utilize all artificial features (e.g. buildings, roads, bridges etc.) as well as natural geographic features (e.g. rivers etc). Howener, it has difficulties in managing NGIS as a unified system, because of the discordance of DB of each geographic management organizations. Therefore, this study has been conducted to apply to the system and method providing geographic UFID that can be a key in order to managing, searching and utilizing geographic and artificial features and that makes it be able to estimate the location with the only identifier. Moreover, the system and method, providing geographic UFID, applies to systemized management of NGIS DB as well as consistency of information.

Mobile facility management system is a on-site management tool to collect and update various facility data. But there is a chance to make a data inconsistency between lot of concurrent workers. And facility management system requires to keep records about work log within a certain period of time. This paper describes the design and implementation of mobile facility management system, which provide efficient data synchronization mechanism using version managent technique on large facility data in concurrent work environment. And proposed system is able to keep workers update log persistently.
