  • 기후변화 및 지구온난화로 인한 자연재해 규모가 점차 대형화, 다양화되고 있어 이로 인한 피해도 증대되고 있다. 특히, 다양한 시설과 인구밀도가 높은 도심 지역은 집중호우, 태풍, 홍수 등 자연재해에 취약하여 인적·물적 피해 위험성이 매우 높다. 방재 시설확보 및 개선을 통한 더 높은 안정성 및 기상예보를 통한 대응, 대책을 통한 피해 저감이 이루어지고 있다. 그러나 일반적으로 제공되는 단일 수치모형 기반의 결정론적 기상예측정보는 기상 상태, 선행시간, 모형 매개변수 등으로 인한 불확실성이 매우 크며 이에 대한 정보가 제공되지 않다. 이러한 문제점을 보완하기 위해 앙상블 수치모델 정보와 기상레이더 자료 기반의 단기 예측정보가 활용이 가능하다. 그러나, 앙상블 수치모델의 불확실성, 기상레이더 기반 예측정보의 짧은 예측 선행시간으로 인해 수문학적 모형에 입력자료로 활용은 어려운 실점이다. 본 연구에서는 지점 관측자료의 시간적 연속성, 기상레이더 자료의 공간적 연속성, 앙상블 예측정보의 선행시간 정보를 융합하여 기상예측정보에 대한 불확실성 개선 및 선행시간에 따른 정확도를 높일 방법을 제안하였다. 기상청에서 제공하는 앙상블 예측자료인 LENS 자료, 레이더 강수량, ASOS 관측자료 기반으로 분석이 수행되었으며 분석결과는 예측강수량을 활용하는 분야에 긍정적 영향을 미칠 것으로 기대된다.

  • As the number of vehicles has been sharply increases, the significance of safety and effective operation issues in the parking lot is being emphasized, which takes a part of the transportation system. Recently, there have been several studies for the parking management by detecting moving object, however, recognizing numbers of fast-moving vehicles simultaneously in the picture is still a challenging problem. The parking lot in public area, or large-sized buildings has clear parking section, whereas the sensor system is configured to monitor a plurality of parking spaces. Therefore, by considering those parking lots, we suggested to develop the real-time parking availability information system by applying the real-time image processing techniques. with the help of template matching. Following the study, we wanted to provide the alternative method for parking management system through the reference template makers by recognizing movements of parked vehicles with the size and shape, regardless of direct detecting of driving movements. In addition, we evaluated the applicability and performances of the information system, presented in this study, and implemented a prototype system to simulate the parking statuses of each floor. In fat, it was possible to manage and analyze statistics about the total number of parking spaces and the number of vehicles parked through real-time video flames. We expected that the result of the study will be advanced, following the user-friendliness and cost reduction in operating parking management system and giving information by efficient analysis of parking situation.

  • Urban Data collected through Sensor Network is becoming crucial to understand and analyse a city. Thus, the Ubiquitous Sensor Network builds the foundation of the u-City development. This research aims to develop an energy monitoring application with an intuitive visualization environment which integrates energy usage information on top of urban geospatial information. Such a system will be able to facilitate effective energy supply plan at the early stages of urban planning, and eventually to encourage citizens to conserve energy by giving them real time monitoring information in an easy to understand visual environment. The system provides multiple layers of energy-related information coupled with the geospatial information layer in order to accommodate multiple viewpoints. On the other hand, the system provides logical Level of Detail control based on urban spatial information hierarchy. We defined the system concept and functions, and designed the data structure and the methods of information visualization. This paper presents the visualization methods, data structure, interactions scenarios which combines spacial information, E-GIS data and the energy related sensor data. Furthermore this research tries to introduce the concept of Social Sensor Networking to enhance the monitoring quality.

Automatic Geo-referencing of Sequential Drone Images Using Linear Features and Distinct Points (선형과 특징점을 이용한 연속적인 드론영상의 자동기하보정)

  • Images captured by drone have the advantage of quickly constructing spatial information in small areas and are applied to fields that require quick decision making. If an image registration technique that can automatically register the drone image on the ortho-image with the ground coordinate system is applied, it can be used for various analyses. In this study, a methodology for geo-referencing of a single image and sequential images using drones was proposed even if they differ in spatio-temporal resolution using linear features and distinct points. Through the method using linear features, projective transformation parameters for the initial geo-referencing between images were determined, and then finally the geo-referencing of the image was performed through the template matching for distinct points that can be extracted from the images. Experimental results showed that the accuracy of the geo-referencing was high in an area where relief displacement of the terrain was not large. On the other hand, there were some errors in the quantitative aspect of the area where the change of the terrain was large. However, it was considered that the results of geo-referencing of the sequential images could be fully utilized for the qualitative analysis.

  • High resolution Pan-sharpening technique is becoming increasingly important in the field of remote sensing image analysis as an essential image processing to improve the spatial resolution of original multispectral image. The general scheme of pan-sharpening technique consists of upsampling process of multispectral image and high-pass detail injection process using the panchromatic image. The upsampling process, however, brings about image blurring, and this lead to spectral distortion in the pan-sharpening process. In order to solve this problem, this paper presents a new method that adopts image restoration techniques based on optimization theory in the pan-sharpening process, and evaluates its efficiency and application possibility. In order to evaluate the effect of image restoration techniques on the pansharpening process, the result obtained using the existing method that used bicubic interpolation were compared visually and quantitatively with the results obtained using image restoration techniques. The quantitative comparison was done using some spectral distortion measures for use to evaluate the quality of pan-sharpened image.

  • The recent occurrence of consecutive large earthquakes in the southeastern part of the Korean peninsula has brought significant attention to the prevention of earthquake damage in Korea. This article aims to explore a technology-based approach for earthquake drills using state-of-the-art visual intelligence and virtual reality technologies. The technical process consists of several stages, including acquisition of image information in living spaces using a camera, recognition of objects from the acquired image information, extraction of three dimensional geometric information, simulation of virtual earthquakes using dynamic modelling techniques such as the discrete element method, and realization of the simulated earthquake in a virtual reality environment. This article provides a comprehensive analysis of the individual processes at each stage of the technical process, a survey on the current status of related technologies, and discussion of the technical challenges in its execution.

  • This paper tried to examine the implications of the sites of memory and diaspora memory of the life of Jun Itami(Yoo Dong-ryong), a Korean architect in Japan who is interpellated as Zainichi Koreana adopting theoretical and methodological discussions on memory, sites of memory, diaspora, and identity. To this end, the documentary was selected as the subject of analysis. According to the research results, which consists of a total of 48 scenes, is based on the assumption that the sea and Japan and Korea between the sea are the space of memory, and emphasizes that Itami Jun, who had to live as a borderliner and a stranger is disengaged from the borders of nationalities, territories, and countries. In particular, the story of Jun Itami set the sea as a diachronic space(sites of memory) that penetrates the past and present and explores his diaspora identity. The sites of memory of Jun Itami reconstructed in can be said to be a memory space that makes Yoo Dong-ryong more firmly aware of his diaspora identity as a Korean.

대전광역시 도시화 패턴 분석을 위한 원격탐사 자료 처리 및 다중시기 토지이용 현황도 제작

  • The importance of satellite data for numerous applications is stressed by the fact that many countries have given the development of space technologies very high priority. Among these, Korea has established a medium-term space development strategy to promote space development both on a scientific as well as commercial level. As part of this strategy, the first operational earth-observation, multi-purpose satellite(KOMPSAT-1) was launched successfully in December, 1999. The Electro-Optical Camera (EOC) on board of KOMPSAT-1 supplies panchromatic images with a spatial resolution of 6.6m Until April, 2004, it collected over 150.000 images of the Korean Peninsula and the rest of the world. This paper examines the use of remote sensing data to analyze urban growth in the city of Daejeon from 1960 to 2003. By using visual interpretation, land use maps are created.

Analyzing Patterns of Sales and Floating Population Using Markov Chain (마르코브 체인을 적용한 유동인구의 매출 및 이동 패턴 분석)

  • Recently, as the issue of gentrification emerges, it becomes important to understand the dynamics of local commercial district, which plays the important role for facilitating the local economy and building the community in a city. This paper attempts to provide the framework for systemically analyzing and understanding the local commercial district. Then, this paper empirically analyzes the patterns of sales and flow of floating population by focusing on two representative local commercial districts in Seoul. In addition, the floating population data from telecommunication bases is further modeled with Markov chain for systemically understanding the local commercial districts. Finally, the transition patterns and consumption amounts of floating population are comprehensively analyzed for providing the implications on the evolutions of local commercial districts in a city. We expect that findings of our study could contribute to the economic growth of local commercial district, which could lead to the continuous development of city economy.

Flood risk assessment for local government units in Gyeonggi-do using the number of buildings grid data (건축물수 격자자료를 활용한 경기도 지자체별 홍수위험도 평가)

  • 현재 국내에서 사용되고 있는 지자체 단위 위험도 평가 기법들은 자연재난과 사회재난으로부터 유발되는 여러 위험성들을 함께 고려하여 평가에 반영하고 있다. 또한, 지자체 내에서 홍수위험에 노출될 수 있는 대상만을 선별하여 분석한 것이 아닌 지자체별 단순 통계값으로 평가가 이루어지기 때문에 홍수위험에 대한 정확한 평가가 어렵다는 한계를 가지고 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 Indicator Based Approach(IBA)에서 제시하는 평가 항목인 Hazard, Exposure, Vulnerability, Capacity 중 Exposure에 해당하는 건축물수를 대상으로 홍수위험지도와 중첩되는 건축물들을 선별하여 홍수위험도 평가를 수행하였다. 지자체별 건축물수 산정은 2018년 11월 기준 경기도 31개 시군별 도로명주소 전자지도(건물)와 500m × 500m 건축물수 격자자료를 사용하였다. 건축물수 격자자료는 도로명주소 전자지도의 건물 폴리곤 자료 대비 분석이 간편하다는 장점을 가지고 있다. 비교 분석을 통해 공간분석자료의 유형에 따라 발생하는 통계값의 차이는 격자자료에 보정계수를 적용하여 보완하였다. 보정된 경기도 지자체별 건축물수 격자자료로 세부지표 지수를 산정한 결과 단순히 자지체별 건축물수를 사용했을 때에는 화성시, 용인시, 평택시 순으로 지수가 크게 산정되었다, 하지만 홍수위험지도와 중첩된 건축물수를 사용했을 때에는 고양시, 광명시, 김포시 순으로 지수가 크게 산정되었다. 본 연구를 통해서 건축물수 격자자료와 홍수위험지도를 사용하여 위험도 평가를 수행했을 때 기존 방법론 대비 합리적인 평가결과를 얻을 수 있었다.
