Spectral Mixture Analysis Using Hyperspectral Image for Hydrological Land Cover Classification in Urban Area (도시지역의 수문학적 토지피복 분류를 위한 초분광영상의 분광혼합분석)

  • Satellite images have been used to obtain land cover information that is one of important factors for hydrological analysis over a large area. In urban area, more detailed land cover data are often required for hydrological analysis because of the relatively complex land cover types. The number of land cover classes that can be classified with traditional multispectral data is usually less than the ones required by most hydrological uses. In this study, we present the capabilities of hyperspectral data (Hyperion) for the classification of hydrological land cover types in urban area. To obtain 17 classes of urban land cover defined by the USDA SCS, spectral mixture analysis was applied using eight endmembers representing both impervious and pervious surfaces. Fractional values from the spectral mixture analysis were then reclassified into 17 cover types according to the ratio of impervious and pervious materials. The classification accuracy was then assessed by aerial photo interpretation over 10 sample plots.

Potential Mapping of Mountainous Wetlands using Weights of Evidence Model in Yeongnam Area, Korea (Weight of Evidence 기법을 이용한 영남지역의 산지습지 가능지역 추출)

  • Weight of evidence model was applied for potential mapping of mountainous wetland to reduce the range of the field survey and to increase the efficiency of operations because the surveys of mountainous wetland need a lot of time and money owing to inaccessibility and extensiveness. The relationship between mountainous wetland location and related factors is expressed as a probability by Weight of evidence model. For this, the spatial database consist of slope map, curvature map, vegetation index map, wetness index map, soil drainage rating map was constructed in Yeongnam area, Korea, and weights of evidence based on the relationship between mountainous wetland location and each factor rating were calculated. As a result of correlation analysis between mountainous wetland location and each factors rating using likelihood ratio values, the probability of mountainous wetlands were increased at condition of lower slope, lower curvature, lower vegetation index value, lower wetness value, moderate soil drainage rating. Mountainous Wetland Potential Index(MWPI) was calculated by summation of the likelihood ratio and mountainous wetland potential map was constucted from GIS integration. The mountain wetland potential map was verified by comparison with the known mountainous wetland locations. The result showed the 75.48% in prediction accuracy.

An Empirical Analysis on the Demand for Households with Disabilities (장애인 가구 주택수요 특성에 관한 실증 분석)

  • The Korean society is currently at the level of discussing the living environment and the housing welfare as factors for improving the quality of life, in addition to most individuals or households residing in a living environment and housing welfare, according to industrialization and urbanization. However, even though the overall housing welfare of Korea has improved, the number of households with disabilities belonging to the social special class is not as high as that of the non-disabled households. It is a reality that cannot be done. Therefore, this study aims to identify the present condition and demand characteristics of the housing for disabled people whose social importance is currently emphasized among the social special people who can be called the social special class, as well as present the housing welfare policy to them and explain the purpose of the improvement plan. In this study, 4,277 out of 8,004 households with disabilities surveyed by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, and Transport in 2015 were analyzed. The result of the analysis showed that the economic characteristics (permanent income indicating the income and the user cost indicating the expenditure) of the housing demand of a household with a handicapped individual are important. This analysis will provide more effective policy formulation and policy direction for the families of the disabled.

A Study on Improving Estimation of Recurrence Rate of Public Water -Jungnangcheon Watershed- (생활용수 회귀수량 산정방법의 개선연구 -중랑천 유역을 대상으로-)

  • 물 수요관리측면에 대한 정책을 수립하기 위해서는 현재 또는 장래에 대한 용수수급의 정확한 이해를 필요로 한다. 이를 위해서는 용수 수요량 및 공급량뿐만 아니라 여러 산정요소를 필요로 하는데, 그 중 회귀수량은 물이 이용되고 다시 하천으로 회귀되어 이용될 가능성이 있는 수량으로 정의되며, 용수수급 및 용수절약 측면에서 회귀 수량은 중요한 요소라 할 수 있다. 회귀수량 조사는 유역조사 사업 이래, 10년간 생?공용수를 중심으로 미시적, 거시적으로 조사를 시행하였으나, 측정 자료의 신뢰도, 조사방법 및 지점선정 등의 문제로 인하여 조사 성과의 활용성이 매우 낮은 실정이다. 수자원장기종합계획등에서는 수자원관련 계획 수립시 생?공용수의 회귀율을 65 %로 적용하고 있으나, 이는 1970년대 말의 사회적 여건 및 경제적 상황이 반연된 결과로 현재 상황에 적용되기 곤란하다. 따라서, 현재 실정에 맞는 회귀율 산정은 반드시 필요하게 된다. 본 연구에서는 기존 생활용수 회귀수량 산정 연구 한계를 보완하고 유역조사 시행을 위한 개선된 회귀수량을 산정하고자 한다. 본 연구는 서울시 중랑물재생센터 처리구역을 기반으로 중랑천유역을 시험유역으로 선정하였다. 기존 회귀수량 산정방법을 개선하기 위해 시험유역 회귀수량 산정을 위한 가용 자료 분석 및 용수흐름 네트워크 공간분석을 추가로 진행하였다. 가용자료로 시험 유역내 상수공급자료(정수장 공급량, 상수계통도, 유수 및 누수율), 하수처리자료(하수처리구역도, 하수처리계통도, 유입량 및 방류량) 및 기상자료(기상청 지점 및 AWS 강우자료)를 구축하였고 각각의 상수계통도 및 하수처리계통도로부터 용수 흐름 네트워크망을 구축하였다. 상수공급자료로부터 상수계통도 공급지역을 구분하여 월별 유수율에 따른 월별 실 공급량을 산정하였다. 하수처리자료로부터 시험유역에서의 월별하수처리 유입량 및 방류량을 산정하였다. 최종적으로 회귀율(하수처리 방류량/실 공급량)을 산정한 결과 연평균 회귀율은 각각 93.97 %(2011년), 95.02%(2012년)로 과잉 추정 되었으며 7 ~ 9월의 회귀율은 110 ~ 120 %로 유입량을 초과하였다. 이는, 하수처리로 유입되는 유입량의 하수관거는 합류식으로 구축되어 7 ~ 9월에 많은 양의 강우량이 우수관을 통해 하수처리장으로 이송되어 생활용수 이외에 자연적인 공급량으로 인한 것으로 분석되었다. 따라서, 월별 회귀율 산정을 위해서는 불투수층에서의 면적강우량(mm)을 유입량(m3/s)으로 환산된 값을 고려하여 회귀율을 재산정하였다. 그 결과 연평균 회귀율은 각각 78.27 %(2011년), 77.58 %(2012년)로 나타났다.각각의 월별 회귀율도 매우 유사하게 나타났으며 과거 관용적으로 사용된 65 % 회귀율보다 약 12 ~ 13%로 증가하였으며 이는, 하수처리시설 구축 및 처리효율의 증가와 상수처리시설의 관로시설의 개량으로 인한 유수율 및 누수율 감소로 회귀율이 증가한 것으로 판단된다.

A Study on Colors through Regeneration Design for Abandoned Factory Buildings - The Color of Buildings in the Port Area of Bongnae-dong, Yeongdo, Busan as an Example - (폐공장 건물 재생디자인에 대한 색채 관한 연구 - 부산 영도 봉래동 항만지역 건축물 색채를 중심으로 -)

  • In South Korea, with the advancement of the 'Port' project, the regeneration industry adapted to the modern economic development has been promoted, leading to construction around the port was also redefined. Therefore, through regeneration, the problem of image construction of buildings around the port has been re-examined, in which color is an important content of image construction. In this study, the exterior walls of abandoned factory buildings in the port area of Bongnaedong, Pusan were selected as the color research object and evaluated according to the characteristics of the regenerated factory buildings combined with the building color function. Technically, KSCP color analysis system is used for color analysis. In this way, the color plan for the exterior walls of the factory buildings is proposed to visually enhance the image of abandoned factory buildings and attract more attention, thus driving the regional economic development. The results of this study show that in order to adapt to the regional, industrial and commercial characteristics of the regenerated port space, the color hue, lightness, chroma and use area of the building can be changed to enhance the aesthetic value and enhance the inductivity and security.

A Study on the Ward Module according to the External Design of the Hospital (병원 외주부 디자인에 따른 병실모듈 연구)

  • Purpose: It is important to plan the ward module at a time when the size of beds, the floor area, and the construction budget are all set prior to the hospital design. In this context this study aims (1) to derive various factors affecting the ward module, and (2) to analyze the appropriate room module according to the type. Methods: Design factors related to hospital modules are derived through precedential studies, and the types of ward elevation are classified by reviewing the drawings of 18 case hospitals. And the detailed dimensions and area of the derived elements are analyzed. Results: The X-axis modules of the ward are switched to long span structural columns of 9.9 m, 12.6 m and 13.2 m, but the ward modules still represent 6.6 m. The Y-axis module of the ward shows a dimension of 9 to 9.9m in the process of changing a multi-person room into a four-person room. Type A of curtain wall with columns located on the wall of the room and type B of curtain wall located in the center of the room are analyzed due to their variations. The square window type, which forms the elevation of the square window by exposing the columns to the elevation, and the outframe type, which protrudes from the structural columns and beams, have elevation designs limited. There are, however, no obstacles to the interior space of the hospital room, so the wall composition and furniture arrangement are expected to be free. The ward area of Curtain Wall Type A, which can secure an effective area of 5.9m*5.0m, are 52.1m2. The Curtain Wall Type A, Square window type, and the outframe type are 49.8m2. Implications: As part of the hospital standard module plan for economical and reasonable hospital building planning, a type was proposed in this study in conjunction with the external design. It is hoped that it be a base for standard module research linked together to the Central Treatment department, Outpatient department and underground parking lot.

Cultivation Factors for Pot-plant Production of Arenaria juncea M.Bieb. (벼룩이울타리의 분화 생산을 위한 재배 요인)

  • 벼룩이울타리(Arenaria juncea M.Bieb.)는 7~8월에 백색의 꽃이 취산화서로 아름답게 피며, 산지, 산비탈 또는 메마른 초지에 자생한다. 청열 및 양혈의 효능이 있고, 은시호의 대용으로 쓰이며, 뿌리에는 triterpenoid saponins과 sapogenin이 함유되어 있다. 본 연구는 분화용 식물로 벼룩이울타리를 활용하기 위한 효율적인 포트 정식방법을 개발하기 위하여 수행되었다. 실험은 2018년 선행연구에서 생산된 유묘를 7월 2일에 정식하여 10월 15일까지 약 15주 동안 재배하였다. 대조구는 플라스틱 화분 10호($9{\times}9cm$)에 원예상토를 충진하고 200구 트레이에 셀 당 4립씩 파종하여 생산된 1셀을 정식하였다. 재배 실험은 용기종류[비닐포트(3, 4치), 플라스틱 포트(8, 10, 12호)], 토양 종류[원예상토, 중화 피트모스:펄라이트(3:1, 4:1), 마사토:중화 피트모스(2:1, 3:1)], 묘의 소질[파종 립수(1, 2, 4, 6립), 파종 용기(162, 200, 288구 트레이)] 등을 달리하여 진행하였다. 연구의 결과, 벼룩이울타리는 토양의 양이 많을수록 생육이 양호한 결과를 보여, 플라스틱 12호에 재배하는 것이 분화용으로 가장 효과적이었다. 한편, 비닐 4치와 플라스틱 10호의 경우, 플라스틱 12호와 생육에 큰 차이가 없어 경제적인 것으로 판단된다. 벼룩이울타리는 원예상토에서 재배하는 것이 전반적으로 생육이 우수하였으며, 다음으로 마사토와 피트모스 혼용토 순이었다. 그러나 피트모스와 펄라이트 혼용토는 비율과 관계없이 생육이 감소하며, 잎에 황백화 현상이 나타났다. 셀당 파종량을 달리하여 육묘한 후 정식한 결과, 전반적인 생육은 1립 파종묘에서 양호하였으나, 2, 4, 6립 파종묘가 1립 처리구에 비해 포트당 엽수가 약 1.35, 1.44, 2.01배 증가하는 경향을 보였다. 그러므로 유묘 생산시 셀당 파종량을 늘려 재배하는 것이 분화용으로 효과적일 것으로 판단된다. 파종용기별 유묘의 생육은 162, 200, 288구 트레이 순이었으나, 정식 후 약 15주 동안 재배한 결과, 162, 200구에서 생산된 유묘를 정식하는 것이 288구보다 양호하였다. 따라서, 육묘 단계에서 토양 및 공간을 절약할 수 있는 200구에 파종하여 재배하는 것이 효율적인 방법으로 생각된다. 결론적으로, 벼룩이울타리의 분화용 재배는 플라스틱포트 12호에 원예상토를 충진하고 200구 트레이에 4립 또는 6립을 파종하여 육묘한 묘를 정식하는 것이 가장 효과적이다. 한편, 경제적인 측면을 고려할 때, 재배면적을 적게 차지하는 비닐포트 4치 또는 플라스틱 포트 10호에 마사토와 중화 피트모스를 혼용하여 충진한 다음 유묘를 이식하는 것도 하나의 방법으로 판단된다.

Assessment of Landslide on Climate Change using GIS (GIS를 이용한 기후변화에 따른 산사태 취약성 평가)

  • Recently, due to severe rainfall by the global climate change, natural disasters such as landslide had also been increased rapidly all over the world. Therefore, it has been very necessary to assess vulnerability of landslide and prepare adaptation measures to future climate change. In this study, we employed sensitivity, exposure and adaptative capacity as criteria for assessing the vulnerability of landslide due to climate change. Spatial database for the criteria was constructed using GIS technology. And vulnerability maps on the entire Korea of past and future were made based on the database. As a result, highly vulnerable area for landslide was detected in most area of Gangwon-do, the east of Gyeonggi-do, and southeast of Jeollanam-do, and the southwest of Gyeongsangnam-do. The result of landslide vulnerability depends on time shows that degree of very low class and low class were decreased and degree of moderate, high, and very high were increase from past to the future. Especially, these three classes above low class were significantly increased in the result of far future.

Therapeutic Singing on Speech Production Parameters in Head and Neck Cancer Patients: Case Studies (치료적 노래부르기를 통한 두경부암 환자의 말산출 기능 향상 사례)

  • This case study investigated the changes in speech intelligibility of patients with head and neck cancers who participated in a therapeutic singing-based intervention. Three patients received a total of twelve 30-minute individual sessions. The intervention consisted of three steps: movements for relaxing breathing muscles, vocalization for increasing the range of articulatory movements, and therapeutic singing. In order to examine the changes in speech intelligibility, the voice quality parameters, diadochokinesis (DDK) and the quadrangle vowel space area (VSA) were measured at pre- and posttest. The recording of what each patient read a written paragraph, which were transcribed by blinded assessors, were also analyzed. The results demonstrated that all of the patients showed positive changes in the voice quality, the rate of repetitive syllable production measured by DDK, and the articulatory working space measured by VSA. Along with these measured changes, increases in positive mood and rehabilitation motivation reported by the patients support that the therapeutic singing-based intervention could induce meaningful changes in terms of speech intelligibility from patients with head and neck cancers. Given that this study was conducted with a small sample size, suggestions for further investigation on the effects of the intervention were also presented.

The Study on the Influential Factors on Commercial Gentrification in Seoul (서울시 상업젠트리피케이션 영향요인에 관한 연구)

  • This study analyzes the factors that influence commercial gentrification in Seoul by using both logit model analysis and machine learning with data cumulated from 2015 to 2018 regarding 158 market areas. Logit analysis indicates that log(market area average monthly rent) and the ratio of the purchasing amount by customers aged 40 and younger to total sales in the restaurant and retail business category are statistically significant at 1%; the increase in sales per female customer aged between 30 and 39 in the restaurant and retail business category is statistically significant at 5%; and the increase in number of retailers with a business history of less than two years in the franchise business category is significant at 10%. Machine learning indicates that significant factors ordered by importance are the total retail area, the existence of an industrial complex within the market area, the existence of a traditional market within the market area, the location of subway stations within the market area, the increase of entertainment facilities such as movie theaters within the market area, average monthly rent, and the growth rate of average monthly rent. The contribution of this research is threefold. First, this study analyzes the entire commercial area of Seoul, Korea. Second, this study provides a foundation for future research on predictive indicators by empirically investigating the factors that influence commercial gentrification in Seoul. Lastly, this study introduces various methods of research by utilizing a machine learning approach.
