Deflection Prediction of Piezo-composite Unimorph Actuator Considering Material Property Change of Piezoelectric Single Crystal for Compression Stress Variation (압축 응력 변화에 대한 압전 단결정의 물성 변화를 고려한 압전 복합재료 작동기의 작동 변위 예측)

  • In this study, LIPCA-S2 actuator with a piezoelectric single crystal layer and a carbon/epoxy layer was designed and evaluated to increase actuation performance of piezo-composite unimorph actuator. A curvature change model generated by the induced strain of a piezoelectric layer was used to predict the tip displacement of the piezo-composite unimorph cantilever. However, we found that there was big difference between the predicted and the measured tip displacement of LIPCA-S2 cantilever actuator when we used the previous linear prediction model. A new prediction model considering the change of piezoelectric strain coefficient and elastic modulus for the compression stress variation of the PMN-29PT single crystal layer was used and it was found that the difference between the predicted and the measured tip displacement reduced considerably.

  • As a part of trying to get the resistivity values correctly from laboratory core resistivity measurement, the effect of sample holders in resistivity measurement was analyzed and a better way to determine the representative resistivity value from the time series resistivity data was searched. Modified GS type and modified two-electrode type sample holders were devised and their effects have been compared with those of GS and two-electrode type sample holders. The modified two-electrode type sample holder has benefits both in repetition and simplicity in data acquisition. The analysis of distribution trend of the time series resistivity data obtained with different kind of sample holders and source frequencies shows that the maximum curvature point method gives the best result in determining representative resistivity value.

  • These days, the application range of digital photogrammetry is being extended actively, so the great variety of research is being progressed about improvement of measurement accuracy. This method can acquisite a high analysis accuracy and can acquisite easily image. But, So this method require a much processing time and effort by increasing a data amount, as the automation of processing must be completed for efficiency improvement of processing. In this study, the automation of image processing stage is established for multi-image aquisition and analysis about a radio telescope. Also, the precise measurement and the accuracy on object were intended to be improved. As a result of this study, the accuracy on the object which demands precise measurement was enhanced from multi image analysis, and also the assembly accuracy of the object could be checked by precise measurement and curve fitting.

Structure and Suppression of Nonpremixed Counterflow Flames (비예혼합 대향류화염의 구조와 소화)

  • Measurements with filaments and thermocouples and computations with Oppdif and FDS were carried out to investigate the impact of flame strain, agent addition, and buoyancy on the structure and extinction of nonpremixed counterflow flames. Measurements through 2.2 s drop tests in microgravity conditions and experiments in normal gravity conditions were compared with the results of computations. For the global strain rates 7 s$^{-1}$ through 100 s$^{-1}$ , the turning point behavior in the critical nitrogen concentration at O-g was confirmed. The effects of buoyancy, that is, changes in the flame curvature and thickness were also confirmed by the computations with FDS. There was agreement in the peak flame temperature and its position between the computations and the measurements in the near extinction methane/air diffusion flames in microgravity.

  • Several curvature parameters, solar radiation parameter and topographic flow generation parameters have been summarized and calculated to predict the spatial distribution of soil moisture content. The spatial distribution of soil moisture data can be obtained using Global Positioning System(GPS) and portable soil moisture monitoring equipment, Theta-Probe. Correlation analysis has been performed between the parameters of soil moisture prediction and measured data of soil moisture. Multiple regression analysis of soil moisture prediction shows the potential capability and limitations of existing methods of digital terrain analysis.

  • 알코올 섭취 후 발생하는 해부생리학적 변화가 눈의 일시적인 근시화에 미치는 영향을 알아보고자 하였다. 평균 24.5${\pm}$1.5세의 남자 8명(16 안)을 대상으로 0.42 g/kg의 알코올을 30분 간에 걸쳐 섭취토록 한 다음, 알코올 섭취 1시간, 4시간, 24시간 후의 교정굴절력, 각막곡률반경과 두께, 동공직경, 안압, 그리고 안구축의 길이변화를 측정하여 알코올 섭취 전과 비교하였다. 알코올 섭취 1시간 후에 알코올 섭취 전과 비교하여 호흡 중 알코올 농도가 가장 높았고(p<0.001), 교정굴절력의 구면 (-)굴절력 증가(p<0.05), 동공 크기의 감소(p<0.05), 안압의 하강(p<0.001), 그리고 안구축의 길이 증가가 나타났다. 알코올 섭취 4시간 후에도 모든 측정값들이 섭취 1시간 후와 동일한 경향이었다. 그러나 알코올 섭취 24시간 후에는 알코올 섭취 전과 비교하여 의의있는 변화를 보이지 않았다. 알코올 섭취로 인한 일시적인 근시화는 안압하강과 안구축의 길이변화와 관련성이 있을 것으로 판단된다.

The Container Pose Measurement Using Computer Vision (컴퓨터 비젼을 이용한 컨테이너 자세 측정)

  • This article is concerned with container pose estimation using CCD a camera and a range sensor. In particular, the issues of characteristic point extraction and image noise reduction are described. The Euler-Lagrange equation for gaussian and random noise reduction is introduced. The alternating direction implicit(ADI) method for solving Euler-Lagrange equation based on partial differential equation(PDE) is applied. The vertex points as characteristic points of a container and a spreader are founded using k order curvature calculation algorithm since the golden and the bisection section algorithm can't solve the local minimum and maximum problems. The proposed algorithm in image preprocess is effective in image denoise. Furthermore, this proposed system using a camera and a range sensor is very low price since the previous system can be used without reconstruction.

  • 농업용수 및 친수공간 확보, 경관 향상 등의 다양한 목적을 위한 보의 건설은 하천의 흐름을 차단하여 보를 기준으로 상 하류의 흐름특성을 변하게 하고 토사퇴적에 많은 영향을 미치게 된다. 토사의 퇴적으로 인해 하상이 상승되면 홍수시 홍수위 상승에 의한 치수적인 문제점이 발생하고 토사의 침식이나 공급차단으로 인해 하상이 저하되면 하상세굴로 인해 교각이나 수위관측소와 같은 하천시설물의 기능이 저하되며 하천부지의 변화 등 하천유역 관리에 많은 영향을 준다. 따라서 보 상 하류의 하상변동을 예측하고 분석하는 것은 하천 관리에 매우 중요하다. 본 연구에서는 공주보 건설 기간 중 공주보를 기준으로 상 하류의 하상변동 및 퇴적 토사의 입도 변화양상을 조사하기 위해 모니터링 지점을 선정하였고, 하상단면 수심측정기를 이용하여 하상의 형상 모니터링을 통해 하상변동 양상을 분석하였으며 토사시료를 채취하여 하상재료 입도분포를 분석하였다. 그 결과 공주보 상류 모니터링 지점의 하상 평균높이가 0.52m 낮아진 것으로 측정되었고, 하류 모니터링 지점 역시 하상고의 평균 높이가 0.36m 저하된 것으로 측정되었으며, 하상형상의 모습은 큰 차이를 보이지 않았다. 보의 건설로 상류측의 토사퇴적이 예상 되었으나 모니터링 시에는 수문이 개방되어 하천의 흐름이 비교적 원활하여 보 상류측에 토사의 퇴적현상이 발생하지 않은 것으로 판단된다. 또한, 하상재료를 채취하여 균등계수 및 곡률계수를 통해 입도분포를 분석한 결과 체가름시험 규정에 의해 '나쁜입도'로 분류되었다.

  • Mean velocity and Reynolds stress components of the developing turbulent flows in a rotating 90 degree bend with square cross-section were measured by a hot-wire anemometer. Effects of the centrifugal and Coriolis forces generated by the curvature and rotation of bend on the mean motion and turbulence structures are investigated experimentally. Results show that the Coriolis force associated with the rotation of the bend may act both through the mean motion and turbulent structures, thereby changing the pressure fields, mean and turbulent velocities distributions.

  • 층상실리케이트 나노입자를 포함한 에폭시수지인 나노콤포지트를 장시간 트리절연내력을 평가하기 위하여 제조하였다. 층살실리케이트를 포함하지 않은 경우보다 월등하게 긴 트리잉파괴 시간을 나타내었다. 더욱이 층상실리케이트 나노입자와 에폭시수지 계면의 효과를 연구하기위해 silane coupling agent을 나노입자에 표면처리하여 장시간 트리잉 파괴에 초점을 맞추었다. 에폭시수지와 층상실리케이트 나노입자사이 커플링 의한 계면결합은 단시간 절연파괴강도와 장시간 트리잉파괴 시간에 중요한 역할을 하고 있음을 알았다. 그 결과는 침선단에 교류 전계강도가 781.42kV/mm(교류 15kV, 침선단 곡률반경 $5{\mu}m$) 절연파괴시간을 측정한 결과 나노입자가 충진된 경우 트리개시시간이 24,726분이었고, 파괴에 이르는 시간은 29,213분이 걸렸다. 반면에 실란을 처리하지 않은 경우 파괴시간은 11,591분 이었다. 충진된 층살실리케이트 나노입자의 함량은 3wt%로 하였으며, 이와같은 파괴시간 지연 결과의 향상이 152%향상된 결과는 계면의 결합력이 크게 향상되어 나타낸 경우로 사료된다.
