Measurements of the floor impact sound level for floating screeds in apartment house (共同住宅 뜬바닥構造의 바닥 衝擊音레벨 測定)

  • The structure borne sound is one of the most important factor in building acoustics. Nevertheless, there is not yet sufficient knowledge to predict its behavior in preparing the acoustical design of a building. We are concerned with the concrete floating floor construction, which is one of the most promising ways to control floor impact sound. This study is to develop floating screeds isolated from the conventional concrete floor structures, to improve the concrete floor systems for the purpose of the good sound insulation performance which protects the propagation of the structure borne sound. Floor impact sound in many apartment house buildings and developed floating floors was measured, and we can save many floor impact sound data.

  • 본 논문은 자동변속기를 탑재한 차량에서 에어콘(air condition)을 작동시키고, 공 회전시 기어의 변속을 "D"단에 두었을 때 실내에서 발생하는 이상음의 원인규명 및 해결 방 법에 관한 연구 결과를 논하고자 한다. 이 이상한 소음의 원인을 규명하기 위하여 실린더 내부의 연소압력, 메인 베어링캡(main bearing cap)의 진동, 엔진 마운팅 보스의 진동 및 차 량의 실내소음을 동시에 측정하여 분석하였으며 이 결과에 의하면 이상음의 원인은 크랭크 샤프트(crank shaft)의 굽힘진동이 파워플랜트(power plant)를 가진하여 진동을 증가시키고, 이 진동이 마운팅 보스를 통하여 차량의 차체에 전달되며, 차체의 진동에 의해서 발생하는 고체 전달음(structure-borne noise)이었다. 또한 이상음의 주기는 주파수 성분은 200-400Hz 이었다. 이 이상음은 크랭크 샤프트의 댐퍼 풀리의 질량을 저감하여 크랭크 샤프트의 동특 성을 개선함으로서 해결가능하고, 혹은 점화시기를 지연하여 연소 압력을 낮춤으로서 해결 가능하다.

  • 본 연구를 통해 평판으로 구성된 구조물의 SEA 해석시 면내파의 영향을 살펴보았다. 개발된 프로그램 "SEANV"를 실제구조물에 적용하여 해석을 수행한 결과 면내파의 영향은 소음원에서 거리가 멀어질수록 더 크게 나타남을 알 수 있었다. 빌딩이나 선박등 대형구조물의 경우 고체음이 전파에 의한 소음의 발생이 지배적이므로 면내파의 무시는 SEA 해석결과에 큰 영향을 미치게 된다. 본 연구는 음장요소와 평판요소만 고려하였으나 대부분이 구조물이 상기 요소로만 SEA modelling이 가능하므로 본 연구에서 개발된 프로그램의 활용분야는 매우 다양할 것으로 예상된다. 것으로 예상된다.

  • Traditionally, tire made a role of function, which is supporting vehicle load, making brake, transferring traction, etc. But tire is a part of vehicle design, nowadays. In accordance with this market trend, customers need a wide tread design tire (i.e. low series tire). Generally low Series Tire means stiffer than general tire. That brings out increasing road noise. (Especially tire cavity resonance noise) Tire noise is divided in structure home noise and air borne noise. Tire cavity resonance noise (structure home noise) come from vibration between tire and vehicle. In the study, we investigated that tire cavity resonance noise is affected by stiffness of tread and sidewall.

Study on Ultrasonic Birefringence by Uniaxial Stress in Axisymmetric Solids (축대칭 고체내부의 단축 응력에 의한 초음파 복굴절 특성 연구)

  • Uniaxial stress in ail axisymmetric body is the simplest example of ultrasonic stress measurement. However, the birefringence theory cannot be applied for axisymmetric solids because the axisymmetric stress field in the body does not make shy velocity difference in SH waves propagating in the axisymmetric direction. Conventional ultrasonic technique using the time-of-flight method also needs ultrasonic lengths of the unstressed and stressed body, which is very impractical. In this paper, the birefringence effect in axisymmetric solids under uniaxial stress is formulated to evaluate the axial stress inside the solid without measuring tile ultrasonic length. Theoretical derivation for the birefringence characteristics in the axisymmetric solids is made using the longitudinal and shear waves instead of two horizontally polarized shear waves. Tension test is conducted for carbon-steel specimen to measure the birefringence coefficient and investigate the validity of the theory. It is observed from experimental results that the velocity difference in two differently polarized acoustic waves is proportional to the uniaxial stress in the axisymmetric solid with a good agreement with the theoretical value.

The Friction and Wear of Sic Ceramic at High Temperature with Solid Lubricant. (고체윤활제를 사용한 경우 고온에서 SiC 세라믹의 마찰 마모에 관하여)

  • 윤활제가 없는 경우와 고체 윤활제를 사용하였을 경우 세라믹 SiC의 마찰 마모시험을 상온 및 고온에서 실시하였다. 이때 사용한 마모시험기는 Two-disk형이고, 마찰속도는 132mm/sec이며, 하중의 2.6N에서 10.4N의 범위이다. 실험결과에 의하면 고체윤활제(흑연. Mos$_2$)는 세라믹의 마찰마모를 300$\circ$C 이하에서 모두 효과적으로 감소시킬 수 있었다. 또 300$\circ$C 이하에서는 Mox$_2$가 더 효과적인 윤활제 역할을 하고 300$\circ$C 이상에서는 흑연이 더 효과적이었다. 그원인은 윤활제 피막형성 및 파괴가 윤활 효과에 지배적인 영향을 미치고 온도상승에 따라 각 윤활제의 특성이 달라지기 때문이었음이 SEM 이나 EDS에 의해 밝혀졌다. 따라서 고온에서 윤활효과를 증대시키기 위해서는 윤활피막의 접착을 강하게 해줄 수 있는 접착 첨가물이 필요하다. 고온에서 윤활이 안된 경우 마모는 결정경계를 통한 입자들의 파괴가 주로 원이되나 낮은 온도나 윤활상태에서는 결정경계에 무관한 연마 마모가 마모를 지배하고 있었다.

  • As the results of actual survey of indoor noise in apartment houses, it represents that plumbing noise and floor impact noise are most unsatisfactory factors to inhabitants. In this paper, the actual condition of plumbing noise in apartment houses was measured and the methods of plumbing noise reduction are suggested. For these suggestions, the actual survey of plumbing noise and the model test on structure-borne sound of water supply pipe and drain sound were carried out.

  • This paper describes the acoustic analysis of mid duty truck. The focus of the analysis is on structure borne engine noise with major contributions of 2nd order. It has been previously recognized that the noise contribution of each transfer path of structure borne noise can be varied with the charateristics of each mounts and vibro acoustic sensitivity of car body. The structure of car body will be split up into three major sub components, which are modeled separately, the engine, the frame and the cab. The acoustic performance is evaluated on three levels: engine to frame transfer, frame to cab transfer, and panel contribution from cab to driver. In order to perform these analyses, analytical models are created for the engine, frame, cab and acoustic cavity. The models are linked through a coupled fluid structure calculation, and through FRF Based Substructuring for the structural couplings. Based on the structural coupling calculations, a transfer path analysis is performed to identify the most important transfer paths. These paths are then the focussing points for applying modifications to the structure or the mount system. Finally, a number of modification are proposed and their effect is quantified.

  • On account of the technological development, intelligent building is on increasing where the artificial regulation on indoor environment is possible, thence the concern about those facilities such as water-supply facility, water-heater and drainage facility has becomes higher. However, due to diversification and complicated system of the facility-equipments, the noise generating from such facility equipment is gradually becoming a problem, and since especially equipment noises arising at the machine room frequently infringe into the resident's pleasant living environment with the complex types of an air-borne sound and a structure-borne sound, it is becoming the civil complaint. On such viewpoint, this Study ever observed the characteristics of noise generating from various facility-equipments in the building, and intended to evaluate the facility-noises by use of the valuation index such as PSIL, N, NC, NR. As result of, the facilities noise which happens in the machine room makes normal conversation very difficult due to high sound pressure level. Based on such data, this study is willing to present it as an essential material for establishment an efficient measure against the facility-noises arising at machine room hereafter.

  • Construction vibration such as explosive blast, hydraulic breaker, vibratory roller, pile driving noise and so on, injuries in areas around the construction sites. In particular, underwater sound caused by ground vibration is propagation such as structure borne noise. Vibration and underwater sound due to construction activities may cause injury to river, sea or land fish farms near construction sites. The purpose of present study is to measure the sound pressure level and frequency analysis of the underwater noise generated by ground vibration(Blasting, hydraulic crawler drill, hydraulic breaker, vibratory roller). Underwater noise were monitoring by a hydrophone (TC 4013) and recorded, analysis were made using a by software (Prosig).
