  • Agn$\grave{e}$s Varda is a French representative female film director. In particular, the method combining subjectivity and objectivity is the most outstanding characteristics. However, it can be said that the method to support this is not only theme of the film but also creation of structure including the exploration for the filmic form different from classical film form. Such an approach accords with No$\ddot{e}$l Burch's refined analysis of filmic form. Therefore, This study aims to aesthetical analysis of the form of producing the structure in modern movies through which is one of the representative work by Agn$\grave{e}$sVarda and won the Golden Lion award in 1985 Venice Film Festival. The theme of the film, the recovery of relationships among people and contacts through the tragic death of drifting life, created a new filmic structure by formative experiment of the film. The formative experiment is the fragmented and repetitive construction with the introductory voice-over, and consists of movement and editing of camera and specific use of flashback and sound through the representation of figures and situations, mixture of narrative and non-narrative style.

  • The purpose of this study is to examine how the Korean classic novel "Shimcheong-jeon" has transformed in juvenile literature since the 2000s. Classical novels are far from modern and temporal, differ from modern cultures. Classic novels are also different from the lives and thoughts of modern children. It is therefore difficult for modern child readers to easily understand or agree with classical novels. In order for classical novels to have the meaning in the present, it is necessary to pay attention to the encounter between classical novels and children's literature. In the case of "Shimcheong-jeon", unlike other classical novels, there are many creative fairy tales. There are seven kinds of fairy tales that transformed "Shimcheong-jeon". They are diverse in genres such as picture books, fairy tales, and juvenile fiction, and are intended for a variety of ages. These works are described in various perspectives such as, Shimcheong who is full of desire, Shim Hakgyu who is disabled, Ppaengdeog's mother who has maternity and subjectivity, The dragon of the dragon king and Byeogdeog who loves Shimcheong, and Shin Cheong who has a dream. The themes of the works vary. So, These works extend our expectations for classical literature. Fairy tales that transformed "Shimcheong-jeon" reflect the lives of children and youths, this is important because it can reduce the distance between classical novels and children and youth readers. Classical novels are modernized and give new meaning to modern children and youths. And it reflects the characteristics of the novels of Pansori's "Shimcheong-jeon", preserving the value of classics. Tears of Paengdeok is a story that explains the origin of Pansori "Shimcheong-ga", and inserts some lyrics of Pansori, in the case of Cheong, Cheong, Pansori style is used. Although humor is the greatest feature of pansori, there are few of Fairy tales that transformed "Shimcheong-jeon". It is a direction to worry and to orient when transforming "Shimcheong-jeon" into a fairy tale.

  • This study explores the creation and enjoyment of Kuwoonmong (九雲夢) using a reference system called the cultural imagination, which is related to the Yin-Yang (陰陽) and Wu Xing (五行). When Kim Manjung wrote Guwoonmong, he may have composed figures and events based on this imagination. In particular, when he designed the eight seonnyeo (팔선녀), he set the order such as Gap (甲), Eul (乙), Byeong (병), Jeong (丁), etc. and characterized them according to the celestial stem (天干). Thus it was easy to avoid overlapping of characters and to construct various stories and relationships between them. The table below shows the characters of Kuwoonmong corresponding to the celestial stem. In not only the individual person but also the narrative world, Kuwoonmon demonstrates Yin-Yang and Wu Xing's imagination. In this respect, Kuwoonmon can be considered a large symbol encompassing the abstract theory of Yin-Yang and Wu Xing. Of course, the writer, Kim, Manjung would not have tried to symbolize the principle intentionally. However, he was also present in the environment of the cultural imagination that has been formed over the years. The same is true for the contemporary recipients of Guwunmong. They would have had a pleasant experience applying the cultural imagination and strengthening their familiar world view and human view.

  • In literary works, space plays a background role, but in geography, it becomes the target of study. Space could, therefore, be a matter of common interest in literary and geographic education. "Chunhyangjeon" contains a great amount of geographic information, such as landscape, itineraries, and spatial consciousness. This information is a part of narrative development and represents the geographical situation of the late Yi-dynasty. Thus, "Chunhyangjeon" could be the common material for literary and geographic education. Using "Chunhyangjeon" as the common material, through narrative incidents, learners in a literature class can appreciate the role of geographic information in narrative development, and the same learners can, in geography class, recognize the geographic information and gather the sense of place that the characters experience. For the construction of common realm of the two subjects, it is necessary to compare the aims of two subjects and systematically ensure that the aims correspond. This systematic correspondence of aims could be the foundation for curriculum integration.

  • Miss Ki, the heroine of (취유부벽정기) is the image on which Hong-saeng's mind is projected. And the mind of Hong-saeng(홍생) is the allegory of Kim, si-seop's(김시습) mind to king Dan-jong. So I think the mind of Ki who thinks patriotism is more important than her life is the allegory of Kim si-seop's patriotic sentiment to king Dan-jong. And I think the sorrow of Hong-saeng for the ruins of Ko-choseon(고조선) means sorrow of Kim, si-seop's(김시습) for the death of Dan-jong's. They felt sorrowful because values that they considered as absolute ones were damaged. However, everything in the world are fatally changed. Although people think the most important thing they think now is never changed, after long time they cannot but see all is changed. At last people realize the thing seemed most important will disappear in vain. So the writer of (취유부벽정기) made a image of Miss Ki who is a nymph of moon and was the princess of Ko-choseon to awaken Hong-saeng. He intended to change hong-saeng's mind to king Dan-jong with the change of Miss Ki's mind to her father. But the writer knew the fact that though Hong-saeng changed his mind, he could not become happy. So he wanted to transcend the real world, but he can't. After all he expressed his wants in fantastic lunar world.

  • The reason why rhetoric is important to a moving image is that a moving image communicates through non-verbal communication language. At first, rhetoric in a moving image functions to be persuasive in the story of a moving image. Second, rhetoric works to enhance an aesthetic value for a moving image. Thus we feel good when we are watching a moving image with well embeded rhetoric. On the other hand, we see extened rhetoric to enhance an imaginary because of a hollywood movie with visual effect and a digital movie. Visual images now formed using more signigier compared to signified for signification. Also we see that every signifier structured metaphorically to function as a sign. In this paper, 1 am going to explain the principles of rhetoric applied to a moving image so that we can better understand a signification on visual image.

And I tried to explore the possibilities and directions of contents based on classical literature by exploring the way in which this text reintermediation, and recreates the narrative of . This work deals with the story of ShimChung, and sees the problematic aspects of ShimChung's sacrifice and death through the gaze of the surrounding people such as the Namkyeong merchant and Guideok's mother while excluding the central characters Shimcheong and Shimbongsa. In the process, the voice of Simcheong was discovered as a victim and social hit. And It connects this with the discourse of filial duty and virtuous woman which regulates the life of women in the patriarchal society and establishes the place of social public opinion about the life of the women of the Joseon era. In this way, is presented the possibility of a new interpretation of . Also readers and audiences of present-day have an opportunity to reconsider the 'sacrifice' of social subordinate based on deep understanding of .
