A study for 'Kyung(敬)' ideology and figures of Yeheon(旅軒)'s poem (여헌(旅軒) 시(詩)에 있어서 '경(敬)'의 이념과 형상화 방식)

  • This thesis is for clarifying a few aspects of 'Kyung(敬)' ideology and figures appearing in Yeheon(旅軒)'s poem. This ideology and figures is a kind of a imaginative thing that a poet designed. This feature is a very important subject of Yeheon(旅軒)'s poem world, so that we are going to make it clear. First, we focused his aspirations of virtual uncontaminated areas and found out his big store of life wisdom and knowledge. The second is we thought about a displaying a emphasis of proud spirit[氣像] in his own poem world, and we found that he saw things from an unworldly point of view. Finally we talked about several features of Yeheon(旅軒)'s poem world. Now we have to compare Yeheon(旅軒)'s poem and any other Dohakpa(道學派) poets for example Toegye(退溪), Hwejae(晦齋) etc. And we must clarify the whole poem world of Dohakpa(道學派). In the end, I'm so sure that we will get a prospect of their literature.

Performance Evaluation of an Electrometer for Quality Control and Dosimetry in Radiation Therapy (방사선 치료의 정도관리 및 선량측정에 이용되는 전리계의 성능평가)

  • The performance of an electrometer directly affects on the accuracy and precision in radiation dosimetry. This study is to list of the quality control for maintaining performance and to perform evaluation tests of an electrometer. Performance tests selected include proper polarizing voltages, warm-up and equalization time, leakages, long-term stability, linearity, and effect of ambient conditions. An electrometer connected with a rigid stem ionization chamber was evaluated with a Strontium-90 check device. Bias voltage was measured directly on the input socket. Equalization time is the time required for reaching threshold of charged state after the power is on or the bias voltage is changed. Pre- and post-signal leakages are defined as the accumulation of signal with no exposure and after exposure, respectively. Over three months period, the electrometer's long-term stability was measured by comparison of the temperature-pressure corrected readings. Linearity was expressed as the deviation of readings from multiple short exposures from one continuous exposure. Effect of ambient conditions was expressed as the zero drift of the electrometer over 17-34$^{\circ}C$ temperature ranges. For two nominal values, 300 and 500 volts, measured voltages were lower by 2.5 and 5.8%, respectively. The warm-up time, 20 minutes, was longer than the lamp time by 9 minutes and the equalization time was less than 1 minute. Without exposure, the zero-drift was 0.002 scale-unit in 15 minutes and the leakage after 10 minutes exposure was minimal. The IQ-4 was stable over 99.4% for three-month periods. Deviation from the linearity was 0.9% for measurement scale, 0.000-9.991. Over 17-34$^{\circ}C$ temperature range, the zero-drift was minimal, less than 0.2%. For a clinically-used electrometer, a list for the basic peformance evaluations is proposed. By running this program, the measurement error using an electrometer can be reduced and in turn the improvement in accuracy and precision of radiation dosimetry can be achieved.

Memorials to the King and the Intellectual history in the Late Joseon Dynasty (상소(上疏)를 통해 본 조선후기 지식인의 재편 - 이경석·박세당 평가와 관련한 노론계의 상소를 중심으로 -)

  • Memorials in Joseon Dynasty created a arena where the intellectual and political power met. This thesis traces the process of a certain political faction's rebuilding of the political structure of the elite groups by leading the intellectual controversies through memorials, especially those about the evaluations of Pak Setang(朴世堂) and I Gyeongseok(李景奭). This is what happened: Song Siyeol(宋時烈) submitted a memorial which disputed I Gyeongseok's petition, which provoked complete controversies around the memorials between Noron(老論) and Soron(少論). This led to the academic censorship against Sabyeonrok written by Pak Setang. The analysis of act of writing and submission of memorials by Noron and the role of the Kim Family of An-dong(安東 金門) specifically is the main topic here. The members of Soron ceaselessly criticized Song Siyeol, while the Kim Family strongly defended him. The trigger of the strife was a letter written by Kim Chang-Heup(金昌翕), a member of the Kim Family and the Kims played a significant role in the background during the process of political fights using memorials. The series of memorials criticized or supported certain political figure or his writings, but the opinions of Noron and Soron were directly opposite to each other. Even though the expressed difference was the result of the existing political factions, however, it also caused the new power structure of elite groups. The expressions and logics used in the arguments also have its significance. The Noron's memorials evaluated the contemporary people and their writings based on Chu-Hsi and Song Siyeol, who was regarded as a identical figure of Chu-Hsi. The arguments and writing strategies in this regard gained political strength enough to reorganize the intellectual society by changing alignment of political parties, and this led to the rebuilding of academic environment afterward.

  • Microwatt power level at relatively high voltage(order of volt) was produced by $Bi_{0.5}Sb_{1.5}Te_{3}/Bi_{2}Te_{2.4}Se_{0.6}$ thin film thermoelectric generators, and maximum output power varied with temperature difference in the square-law relation. Output voltage and current were possible to control by changing the way of electrical connection as well as the number of stacking plate-modules. Variation of open circuit voltage and short circuit current with temperature difference showed a linear relationship. There were, however, some differences in variations; open circuit voltage were dependent on the number of plate-module when connected in series, but it was not for parallel connection. On the other hand, short circuit current showed the opposite behavior to the case of open circuit current.

Effects of the Heat Therapy on Changes of Immune Activities in Human Body (온열요법이 면역활성의 변화에 미치는 효과)

  • The purpose of this study was to demonstrate immune-activities by heat therapy. To exam, furthermore, the immune effect is investigated from the healthy volunteer(male:15, female:15) by monitoring changes of immune substances such as complements(C1q, C3, and C4), a comparative study with warm water immersion($40.8{\pm}0.3^{\circ}C$) and infrared(250W) was carried out. The plasma analysis showed that the percentage of C1q, C3, and C4 was decreased in warm water immersion-stimulated group, but not in infrared-applied group, compared with control group from healthy volunteer. Therefore, these results suggest that the thermo-stimulation improved immune activity and inhibited complement-related inflammation through the warm water immersion-dependent classical pathway.

  • 지구온난화의 심화로 사회적으로 환경의 중요성에 대한 인식이 확산되면서 $CO_2$ 배기가스 및 연비와 직결되어 있는 자동차 중량 절감의 중요성이 강조됨에 따라 차체 경량화 기술은 환경 친화적인 자동차 개발의 핵심기술로 연구되고 있다. 그러나 충돌보호 장치 및 편의장치의 증가로 차체 중량은 지속적으로 증가하고 있어 차체 중량을 혁신적으로 절감할 수 있는 초경량 차체기술이 요구된다. 차체 경량화 방법으로 기존 강재를 알루미늄재로 대체하는 방안이 연구되고 있으며, 일부 해외 고급 차종에서 알루미늄재를 이용한 스페이스 프레임 및 부품 개발을 검토 적용 중이다. 그러나 알루미늄 단일재 사용은 안전성등에서 요구 성능을 만족시키기 어렵기 때문에 강재와 알루미늄재의 적절한 사용이 필요하다. 이를 위하여 강재와 알루미늄간 이종접합부가 발생하며 이를 위한 적정 공정 개발이 필요하다. 전자기 펄스 용접(MPW)은 고상접합의 한 종류로서 고전류를 순간적으로 방전하여 발생된 고에너지를 통하여 접합이 이루어진다. 이러한 고에너지는 외부재의 전 자기적 성질에 의하여 에너지량이 결정되므로 외부재의 전도도(conductivity)는 매우 중요하며 이러한 이유로 Aluminum 1xxx계 중심의 전자기 펄스 용접 공정이 연구되었다. 그러나 자동차 스페이스 프레임 및 드라이브 샤프트등과 같은 부품에 알루미늄재를 적용하기 위해서는 일정 강도를 확보할 수 있는 6xxx계의 관련 연구가 필요하다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 고품질의 접합부 확보를 위한 1xxx계와 6xxx의 최적의 공정변수(충전전압, 외부재와 내부재 사이의 간격, 외부재 두께)를 도출하였다. 이를 위하여 전자기 펄스 용접 장치는 한국생산기술연구원과 웰메이트(주)에서 공동으로 개발한 $120{\mu}F$의 캐패시터 6개로 구성된 'W-MPW36'을 사용하였으며 접합 후 누수시험을 통하여 접합부의 품질을 검토하였다.

Extended Principal Domain for Discrete Frequency-Domain Quadratic Volterra Models (이산 주파수 영역 2차 Volterra 모델의 확장된 주영역)

  • In this paper we point out that if the classical principal domain for bispectra is utilized to determine a second-order Volterra model's output, such and output will be incomplete. This deficiency is associated with the periodic nature of the DFT. For this reason, the objective of this paper is to present an "extended" principal domain for Volterra kernels which leads to an improved estimate of the nonlinear system's response. In order to define the extended principal domain, we derive a new discrete frequency-domain Volterra model from a discrete time-domain Volterra model utilizing 2-dimensional DFT and the relationship between the quadratic component of the Volterra model and a square filter. The effect of the extended domain on the model output is interpreted in terms of the periodicity of DFT. Through computer simulations, we demonstrate the effects of the extended principal domain on the Volterra modeling. The simulation results indicate that the extended principal domain plays and important role in computing Volterra model outputs and estimating Volterra model coefficients.

The positive contribution of Spirit (영성의 긍정적 기여)

  • Lately in the medical world, they realized that the spirit is important for health best of all, and in the WHO, the meaning of health was "The condition of being sound in body, mind", now as they added the spirit to there, it became "The condition of being sound in body, mind, or spirit". Even though we know well about the importance of spirit, but it is difficult to make sure what that mean is. Even in the Psychology, they didn't distinguish clearly the spirit from the mind. In this report, we have revealed the traits of spirit from the classic theory of spirit to the today's, as studying at side of biology and psychology. Especially the spirit have been developed remarkably for a long time at every religion. Recently in the medical world, they connected 'the spirit of Buddhism' to 'MBSR', and 'the spirit of Christianity' to 'Breakout Principle' with medical method. So, we have studied how the spirit give the positive contribution to the Psycho-therapy.

대기압 저온 아르곤 플라즈마 제트의 분광 분석

  • 대기압 저온 Ar 플라즈마 제트에서 발생되는 플라즈마에 대해 연구하였다. 플라즈마 제트의 본체는 주사기 바늘, 유리관 그리고 테프론 튜브로 구성되어 있다. 바늘의 앞부분은 유리관에 삽입되어 있으며 바늘의 뒷부분은 테프론 튜브와 연결되어 있다. 주사기 바늘에는 수십 kHz의 사인파를 발생시키는 DC-AC 인버터로 수 kV의 고전압을 인가해준다. 기체는 테프론 튜브를 통해 바늘의 안쪽으로 흐른다. 사용 기체는 Ar이며 유량은 3 lpm이다. 주사기 바늘형 전극의 내경은 1.3 mm, 외경은 1.8 mm, 총 길이는 39.0 mm이며 재질은 스테인레스강이다. 유리관의 내경은 2.0 mm, 외경은 2.4 mm, 총 길이는 80.0 mm이다. 자외선-근적외선 분광계를 이용하여 대기압 저온 Ar 플라즈마 제트에서 발생된 플라즈마의 분광 분석을 하였다. 플라즈마 제트에서 발생되는 플라즈마의 휘도는 대략 $10{\sim}30cd/m^2$이다. 플라즈마의 측정 위치, 플라즈마 제트의 입력 전압과 입력 전류, 기체 종류 등의 변수에 따른 분광 실험을 하였으며 이를 통해 얻은 분광 데이터를 일반적인 볼츠만 기울기법에 대입하여 플라즈마의 들뜸 온도를 측정하였다. 또한 Ar 플라즈마 제트의 분광 데이터를 수정된 볼츠만 기울기법에 대입하여 플라즈마의 전자 온도를 측정하였다. 이는 바이오-의료용 플라즈마 및 플라즈마 공정 등의 다양한 응용 분야에서 유용하게 활용할 수 있을 것이다.

Quantum Computing Performance Analysis of the Ground-State Estimation Problem (기저상태계산 문제에 대한 양자컴퓨팅의 성능 분석)

  • As the quantum volume increases, we are about to use quantum computers for real applications. Therefore, it is necessary to investigate how much quantum-computational gain is achievable in the near future. In this work, we analyze a fault-tolerant quantum computing method for near-term applications such as the ground-state estimation problem. Based on quantitative analysis, we find that it is still necessary to improve the current fault-tolerant quantum computing. This work also discusses which parts should be improved to improve quantum computing performance.
