Design of Fault Position Detectable Pattern Generator for Built-In Self Test (고장위치 검출 가능한 BIST용 패턴 발생 회로의 설계)

  • In this paper, we design a pattern generator and a fault position detector to implement the proposed fault test algorithms which are Column Weight Sensitive Fault (CWSF) test algorithm and bit line decoder fault test algorithm for performing the Built-In Self Test(BIST) in RAM. A pattern generator consists of an address generator and a data generator. An address generator is divided into a row address generator for effective address and a column address generator for sequential and parallel addresses. A fault position detector is designed to determine whether full occurred or not and to find the position of the fault. We verify the implemented circuits by the simulation.

  • In this paper, we discuss a decentralized observer design problem for the fault detection in the large-scale continuous-time T-S (Takagi-Sugeno) fuzzy system. Since the fault detection residual is desired to be as sensitive as possible, on the fault, we use $\mathfrak{H}_-$ index performance criterion. Sufficient conditions for the existence of such a observer is presented in terms of linear matrix inequalities. Simulation results show the effectiveness of the proposed method.

  • The arc-fault occurring in the customer system becomes the direct cause of electric fire. However, it is very difficult to identify the arc-fault using the existing fault detection mechanism because the magnitude of the fault current is very small. Accordingly, this paper analyzes the causes of arc fault and designs the basic detection mechanism of arc fault. And then, it proposes an signal processing-based arc-fault determination methodology which can enhance the of accuracy of the arc-fault determination by applying DFT/DWT to the voltage and current waveform. Finally, this paper showed the application methodology of the proposed signal processing based fault determination method by applying and analyzing DFT/DWT to an high voltage in-rush current waveform.

  • One reaction wheel cluster of satellite usually has four reaction wheels. Each wheel is not arranged parallel to the attitude axis of satellite. Therefore, if one reaction wheel is broken, it is very hard to isolate the fault except using the sensors of wheel itself. In this paper, the isolator of satellite reaction wheel cluster is designed. Using a dual filter, FDP(Fault Detection Parameter) is made to detect fault, and using a multi-hypothesis extended Kalman filter, fault isolation of wheel cluster is done. We verify the improvement of isolation performance of wheel cluster by simulation with 4-reaction wheel cluster.

  • As CMOS technologies have been rapidly developed, bridging faults have been relatively increased. IDDQ testing is a current testing methodology which can enhance reliability of the circuit since it efficiently detects bridging faults that are difficult to detect by functional testing. In this paper we consider internal bridging faults occurred in each gate of logic circuits under test and finally develop a fault simulator for IDDQ testing to detect assumed bridging faults.

  • 본 논문에서는 25%, 50%, 75%, 100% 정격 부하 아래에서 b유도전동기의 회전자 고장을 검출하기 위한 효과적인 FFT 기반 알고리즘을 제안하였다. 제안한 방법은 고정자 전류 스펙트럼 성분 중에서 회전자 고장에 큰 영향을 주는 주파수 성분에서 미리 결정한 기준벡터와 특정벡터 사이의 평균 절대치 차이(Mean Absolute Difference)를 이용하였다. 기준벡터는 정상 상태의 고정자 전류 스펙트럼 성분 중에서 기본 주파수 상, 하의 두개의 측파대 주변의 좁은 영역에서 추출하였고 특징벡터는 정상상태와 회전자 바 고장상태의 고정자 전류 스펙트럼 성분 중에서 또한 기준벡터와 동일한 영역에서 추출하였다. 부하실험을 통하여 제안한 알고리즘의 적용 결과는 각각의 정격 부하에서 유도전동기의 회전자 바 고장을 효과적으로 검출할 수 있음을 입증하였다.

  • 본 논문은 점차 성장하고 있는 전동기를 이용한 교통수단으로써의 전기 자전거에 적용된 위치 센서인 홀 센서의 고장 검출을 위한 방법 제시와 고장 회피를 위한 방법을 제시한다. 전동기를 응용한 전기 자전거, 전기 스쿠터, 전기 자동차, 전기 보트 등 다양한 분야에서 전동기의 사용이 점차 넓어지고 있지만 현재는 전동기의 구동 및 제어의 관점에서만 다루어 지고 있는 실정이다. 하지만 전동기의 구동 보다 더 중요한 문제는 사람을 운송하는 분야이기 때문에 높은 구동 안정성이 요구 되고 있다. 따라서 본 논문은 전기 자전거에 적용된 홀 센서의 고장의 종류에 대해 검토하고 고장으로 판단 한 이후 정상적인 구동이 가능 할 수 있도록 센서리스 구동으로의 전환이 가능 하도록 하였다. 이를 모의 실험과 실험을 통해 타당성을 검증 하고자 한다.

  • This paper presents a Carrier phase fault detection (FD) method for GPS RTK (Global Positioning System Real Time Kinematic) in dynamic environment. There are various error sources in dynamic environment and these errors decrease the reliability of FD results. Due to the reason, Carrier phase measurements are separated into satellite induced signal, user induced signal and other remaining errors. Especially the user-induced signal is computed by user dynamic which is estimated by time-differenced Carrier phase (TDCP) and Doppler shift. TDCP makes it possible to avoid integer ambiguity resolution. Computer simulation is conducted to verify the suggested method. By applying impulse, step and ramp faults, the FD performance is analyzed.

  • Global navigation satellite system (GNSS) providing position, navigation and timing (PNT) services consist of satellite, ground, and user systems. Monitoring stations, a key element of the ground segment, play a crucial role in continuously collecting satellite navigation signals for service provision and fault detection. These stations detect anomalies such as threats to the signal-in-space (SIS) of satellites, receiver issues, and local threats. They deliver received data and detection results to the master station. This paper introduces the main monitoring algorithms and measurement pre-processing processes for quality assessment and fault detection of received satellite signals in current satellite navigation system monitoring stations. Furthermore, it proposes a strategy for the development of components, architecture, and algorithms for the new regional navigation satellite system (RNSS) monitoring stations.

  • Monitoring systems used at present to operate HVAC(Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning) optimally do not have a function that enables to detect faults properly when there are faults of such as operating plants or performance falling, so they are unable to manage faults rapidly and operate optimally. In this paper, we have developed a classified rule-based fault detection system which can be inclusively used in HVAC system of a building by installation of sensor which is composed of HVAC system and required low costs compare to the model based fault detection system which can be used only in a special building or system. In order to experiment this algorithm, it was applied to HVAC system which is installed inside EC(Environment Chamber), verified its own practical effect, and confirmed its own applicability to the related field in the future.
