  • 자동차의 고장은 그 종류나 특징 면에서 다양하게 나타나게 되므로 자동차의 진단과 점검에는 많은 노력과 비용, 시간이 소요되며 운전자에 의한 정보를 기대하기 힘든 경우에는 진단이나 정비과정에 많은 어려움을 겪게 된다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 운전자에 의한 일반적인 정보와 진동 소음 센서에 의한 정보의 신호처리기술을 종합하여 자동차 부품의 이상 신호 분석을 하였다. 그리고 정상 상태 대비 이상 신호에 따른 진동 소음 데이터 변화율을 계산하여 작동 모드 별 실내 음압에 영향을 미치는 신호 및 해당 주파수 특성을 분석하였다. 이에 따라 자동차 정비 전문가 시스템 구축을 위한 기초 연구로 엔진부의 이상 신호와 각 부품 별 이상 신호로 나누어 분석하여 데이터 처리 과정 및 이상 증상 별 경향 파악에 본 연구의 목적을 둔다.

  • The operational data of diesel generator engine is two kind of discrete signal and analog signal. We can find the fault information from analog data measured for every sampling time if it is invested the changing rate or direction of data. This paper propose the Malfunction Diagnosis Engine(MDE) using the commercial data mining tool and show the data Process and fault finding method with the data collected from generator engine of the ship.

  • 석유개발 현장에서 시추장비의 고장으로 인한 장비교체 및 시추시간 증가는 막대한 비용소모를 발생시킨다. 본 논문은 딥러닝 기반의 시추장비 중 드릴비트의 동력을 구동시키는 디젤엔진의 고장 요소를 분류하고 이 요소에 따른 고장여부를 판별하는 딥러닝 기반의 이상 예측 및 진단 모델을 개발하였다. 또한 제안한 모델의 우수성을 확인하기 위해 로지스틱 회귀분석 분류모델과의 예측성능 비교분석도 수행하였다.

  • We consider a problem of application of analytical redundancy to engine synchronization process of spark ignition engines, which is critical to timing for every ECU process including ignition and injection. The engine synchronization process we consider here is performed using the pulse signal obtained by the revolution of crankshaft trigger wheel (CTW) coupled to crank shaft. We propose a discrete-time linear model for the signal, for which we construct FDI (Fault Detection & Isolation) system consisting residual generator and threshold based on linear observer.

  • This paper suggests a fault diagnosis of damage on inner liner of regeneratively-cooled combustion chamber during gas generator cycle rocket engine hot firing test. This method focuses on a phenomenon that fuel flow rate difference between two flow estimate methods changes under an inner liner damage of combustion chamber causing fuel leakage and it is expected that it contributes to detect a damage on the combustion chamber in early stage and prevent further destruction during the hot firing test.

  • To cope with exhaust gas regulation, Diesel engine applied to electronic control system. As it accurately regulated the injected fuel mass and the fuel efficiency and the output are increased but the noise and the vibration are decreased. In order to keep the performance of Electronic Diesel Control System, it is important to accurately control the fuel pressure. However, when the regulator of fuel pressure is not controlled properly, the failure phenomenons(starting failure, staring delay, accelerated failure, engine mismatch et al.) occur because the fuel pressure is not stabilize. In this study, effects on a fuel pressure, engine rotating speed according to the control rate of fuel-pressure regulator are investigated in order to analyzed the performance variation with failure of fuel-pressure regulator. As a result, when the control rate of a fuel-pressure regulator is 4%~6% lower than that of standard condition, the variation of engine's rpm and return fuel flow is increased, and the abnormal condition was occurred. Besides, it is possible to diagnose the failures on fuel-pressure regulator under these conditions.

  • These days, it is needed that more stability and reliability of Diesel engine. So it is essential that a systematic and comprehensive fault diagnosis analysis technology. this technology makes fault diagnosis analysis system more efficient. Expert System is required to make fault diagnosis analysis system. In this paper, fault and early diagnosis system is implemented to use Expert System development tools.

  • In order to meet the recently enhanced emission standards at home and abroad, it is necessary to develop the CRDI ECU control algorithm that users can adjust fuel injection timing and amount in response to their needs. Therefore, this study developed the simulator for knocking analysis that enables knocking discrimination and engine balance correction applicable to the ECU exclusive to the industrial CRDI engine. The purpose of this study is to provide the driver-oriented diagnostic service that enable drivers to diagnose vehicles directly by developing diagnostic devices for vehicles with ths use of the results of the developed simulator for knocing analysis according to the OBD-II standards. For this purpose, this study aims to improve the fuel efficiency of vehicles by proposing the S/W design method of the OBD-II diagnosis device that can provide real-time communcations with the use of wired system and bluetooth module as a wireless system to send and recevice automobile fault diagnosis signal and sensor output signal, and to suggest an improvement for engine efficiency by minimizing the generation of harmful exhaust gas.

  • The aircraft gas turbine engines with the Electronic Engine Controls(EEC) had been developed to save fuel and enhance their performance in the early days, and had employed the health monitoring function in the Full Authority Digital Engine Controls(FADEC) to improve their reliability. This has led to an increasing demand for the certification technology of these controls. The design and certification issues of power supply, aircraft supplied data, failure modes, software verification/validation, and lightning requirements need to be addressed. This paper presents the design considerations and the certification techniques applied to the electronic engine controls. And it is believed that this paper will be basis to establish a requirement in Korean Airworthiness Standard.

  • This study provides to car driver with car exhaust gas and sensor information which are car trouble code in engine and many sensors when the car has some problems. This is to provide car manager with many information of car sensors when we go to vehicle maintenance. For example, information of engine RPM, fuel system, intake air temperature, air flow sensors and oxygen sensors can provide to owner or garage, and also add to multimedia system for mp3 files and video files. This system consists of embedded linux system of low power while driving the car which uses OBD-II protocols and zigbee communication interface from CAN communication of car system to self-diagnosis embedded system of car. Finally, low power embedded system has a lot of application and OBD-II protocols for embedded linux system and CAN communication which get sensor informations of car control sensor system while driving the car.
