Implementation of Remote Control System using TeleRemote System (TeleRemote를 이용한 원격 제어 시스템 구현)

  • In this paper, a remote control system called TeleRemote system which can be applied to existing wireless mobile networks or public telephone networks for remote control is designed and implemented. The proposed design employs program technology based on the theory of signal detect control and enables the EPG(Electronic Program Guide) functions such as recording reservation of bidirectional video signals with TV reception card on PC. It can also control recording reservation using remote control program through telecommunication network The PC-EPG system is implemented in Web programs with Server/Clinet architecture and the server system that provides EPG functionalities is in charge of recording reservations and data communications by means of the scheduler program. Data storing to client PCs is performed through TCP/IP and finished by client programs implemented using Visual C++/MFC programs. As remote control system, the developed system can be used for unmanned security system using the Web camera. Building intranet and making connection to internet, the TeleRemote system is believed to create potential for commercial communication system.

  • Bluetooth Low Energy (Bluetooth LE) is a representative break-through communication technology for wireless personal area networks on nowaday. In this environment, most of significant performance should be aiming to energy efficiency due to the policy for manufacturing light-weighted communication devices derived from requirement of world IoT market, and many researches have been developed to satisfy this requirement. While Bluetooth LE has been leading the low power communication technology required from the current market by employing duty cycle and frequency hopping approaches, it couldn't address the problem of reliability on broadcast transmissions. The main goal of this paper is aiming to addressing this problem by suggesting a new method. Furthermore analytic evaluations would also be proceeded to find objective results in the view point of broadcast transmission efficiency from Master device.

  • 무선 이동 통신망은 기존의 음성위주로 제공되던 단일 미디어 서비스의 제공으로부터 발전되어 2000년대 초까지 이동 사용자에게 고품질의 멀티미디어 데이타 서비스를 제공하고, 장소에 제한을 받지 않고 서비스를 제공받을 수 있도록 하는 IMT-2000을 실현을 목표로 발전하고 있다. 또한 다수의 서비스 사용자와 광대역의 데이타를 전송하기 위해서 셀의 반경은 점차로 축소되고 있다. 이에 따라서, 사용자의 위치등록과 핸드오버와 같은 처리에 대한 부하가 커지게 되었다. 그러므로 무선 이동통신에서 서비스 이용자에게 일정 수준 이상의 QoS를 보장해 주기 위해서 효율적인 핸드오버 알고리즘의 도입은 매우 중요한 문제가 되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 IMT-2000환경에서 보다 효율적인 QoS를 서비스 사용자에게 제공해 줄 수 있도록 하기 위해 다양한 이동체의 속도와 멀티미디어 트래픽 특성을 동시에 고려하여 신뢰성 있는 핸드오버를 제공하는 H-PS(Hybrid-Priority Scheme)알고리즘을 제안하고 시뮬레이션을 통해 성능을 분석한다.Abstract Wireless mobile communications is developed from the only single voice traffic sevice to multimedia sevices. And mobile communications will evolve IMT-2000, which is provide users with high quality multimedia services. A radius of cell is gradually reduced to accept many service users and transport the multimedia traffics. Therefore, a overhead of location tracking and handover processing are increased. Then to guarantee high QoS to service users in wireless mobile communications, efficient handover algorithm is very important issue.In this study, we propose a H-PS(Hybrid-Priority Scheme) handover scheme considering mobility and traffic characteristics in IMT-2000 networks. And performance evaluate using simulation.

Design of Image Rejection SSB Modulator for X-Band Monopulse RADAR using Waveguide Hybrid Coupler (도파관 하이브리드 커플러를 이용한 X-대역 모노펄스 레이더용 이미지 제거 SSB 변조기 설계)

  • From the present paper researched about the Design of Image Rejection SSB Modulator for X-Band Monopulse RADAR using Waveguide Hybrid Coupler. Generally, SSB modulator mixes IF(RF) and LO signals, and then it converts to RF(IF) frequency band. In this case, in order to transmit one sideband from RF band, SSB modulator is demanded the removal of image and LO signal. The balanced mixer was designed using waveguide hybrid coupler and crystal mixer diode to mix LO and IF signal. And also the IF Amplifier was designed for IF(+) and IF(-) signal generation which have $90^{\circ}$ phase differences which are suitable in two crystal mixer diode inputs. In order to maintain a high electric reliability from high frequency band the waveguide and IF amplifier's case were manufactured with aluminum using deep brazing techniques. The test result of SSB modulator, LO and sideband signal rejection ratio were 14.2dB and 18.5dB respectively.

  • The interest in the aircraft interior market is gradually growing due to technological development based on the 4th industrial revolution and competition for airlines to attract customers, and as part of that, Cabin Display System (CDS) for FAA Part.25 civil aircraft is being developed in Korea. The CDS is a system that provides various multimedia services to passengers by utilizing Flexible and Transparent Organic Light Emitting Diodes (OLED) with Integrated Display Processing Module (IDPM). This paper presents a new method for efficient Data Load Process of large-sized files and deals with their implementation and performance. The results of this study are expected to be applied to Data Load Process development of avionics that require reliable large-capacity file transmission along with reducing the costs of development compared to existing ARINC-615A.

  • The National Marine Electronics Association(NMEA) is nonprofit-making cooperation composed with manufacturers, distributors, wholesalers and educational institutions. We use the basic port of equipment in order to process the signal from NMEA signal using equipment. When we don't have enough one, we use the multi-port for processing. However, we need to have module development simulation which could multiplex and provide NMEA related signal that we could solve the problems in multi-port application and exclusive equipment generation for a number of signal. For now, we don't have any case or product using NMEA multiplexer so that we import expensive foreign equipment or embody NMEA signal transmission program like software, using multi-port. These have problems since we have to pay lots ci money and build separate processing part for every application programs. Besides, every equipment generating NMEA signal are from different manufactures and have different platform so that it could cause double waste and loss of recourse. For making up for it, I suggest the NMEA multiplexer embodiment, which could independently move by reliable process and high performance single hardware module, improve the memory efficiency of module by designing the optimized Queue, and keep having reliability for realtime communication among the equipment such as main input sensor equipment Gyrocompass, Echo-sound, and GPS.

Edge to Edge Model and Delay Performance Evaluation for Autonomous Driving (자율 주행을 위한 Edge to Edge 모델 및 지연 성능 평가)

  • Up to this day, mobile communications have evolved rapidly over the decades, mainly focusing on speed-up to meet the growing data demands of 2G to 5G. And with the start of the 5G era, efforts are being made to provide such various services to customers, as IoT, V2X, robots, artificial intelligence, augmented virtual reality, and smart cities, which are expected to change the environment of our lives and industries as a whole. In a bid to provide those services, on top of high speed data, reduced latency and reliability are critical for real-time services. Thus, 5G has paved the way for service delivery through maximum speed of 20Gbps, a delay of 1ms, and a connecting device of 106/㎢ In particular, in intelligent traffic control systems and services using various vehicle-based Vehicle to X (V2X), such as traffic control, in addition to high-speed data speed, reduction of delay and reliability for real-time services are very important. 5G communication uses high frequencies of 3.5Ghz and 28Ghz. These high-frequency waves can go with high-speed thanks to their straightness while their short wavelength and small diffraction angle limit their reach to distance and prevent them from penetrating walls, causing restrictions on their use indoors. Therefore, under existing networks it's difficult to overcome these constraints. The underlying centralized SDN also has a limited capability in offering delay-sensitive services because communication with many nodes creates overload in its processing. Basically, SDN, which means a structure that separates signals from the control plane from packets in the data plane, requires control of the delay-related tree structure available in the event of an emergency during autonomous driving. In these scenarios, the network architecture that handles in-vehicle information is a major variable of delay. Since SDNs in general centralized structures are difficult to meet the desired delay level, studies on the optimal size of SDNs for information processing should be conducted. Thus, SDNs need to be separated on a certain scale and construct a new type of network, which can efficiently respond to dynamically changing traffic and provide high-quality, flexible services. Moreover, the structure of these networks is closely related to ultra-low latency, high confidence, and hyper-connectivity and should be based on a new form of split SDN rather than an existing centralized SDN structure, even in the case of the worst condition. And in these SDN structural networks, where automobiles pass through small 5G cells very quickly, the information change cycle, round trip delay (RTD), and the data processing time of SDN are highly correlated with the delay. Of these, RDT is not a significant factor because it has sufficient speed and less than 1 ms of delay, but the information change cycle and data processing time of SDN are factors that greatly affect the delay. Especially, in an emergency of self-driving environment linked to an ITS(Intelligent Traffic System) that requires low latency and high reliability, information should be transmitted and processed very quickly. That is a case in point where delay plays a very sensitive role. In this paper, we study the SDN architecture in emergencies during autonomous driving and conduct analysis through simulation of the correlation with the cell layer in which the vehicle should request relevant information according to the information flow. For simulation: As the Data Rate of 5G is high enough, we can assume the information for neighbor vehicle support to the car without errors. Furthermore, we assumed 5G small cells within 50 ~ 250 m in cell radius, and the maximum speed of the vehicle was considered as a 30km ~ 200 km/hour in order to examine the network architecture to minimize the delay.
