A Study on the Composite Insulation Boom Development of the Aerial Work Platform for Electric Work (전선작업용 고소작업차의 복합재 절연붐 개발)

  • This study describes the 3D design and analysis of a composite insulation boom of an aerial work platform for electric work. Structural analysis of the composite insulation boom was performed using ANSYS and the total deformation, equivalent stress, and normal elasticity were investigated at 150 mm, 500 mm, 1,000 mm, and 1,500 mm using a mounted strain gauge. The results of the analysis and test were similar in a linearly increasing slope and the difference in the strain value was about 10%. This difference depends on the compressive force in the manufacturing process.

  • 건설 현장이나 일반 제조업 현장은 작업자의 고소 위치에서의 작업시, 필요한 특정 장소로의 접근을 위한 임시 구조물을 설치하는데 이를 가설비계라고 한다. 이러한 가설비계는 작업자의 안전 통행과 작업을 위한 받침대 역할, 장비나 공구, 자재를 임시 적치하기 위한 장소로 활용되는데 일반 건축물과 중후장대한 조선소 블록 제작등에 필수적으로 사용된다. 하지만 가설설비라는 특성으로 비계와 관련된 연구가 부진하고 사업적으로 참여하는 사업주 또한 진출을 가볍게 생각하고 있으며 해당 공사에 임하는 작업자의 산업으로의 진입문턱도 낮은 등으로 시공 품질이 떨어질 우려가 매우 높다. 또한 설치후에는 품질검사가 어려워 작업자의 숙련도나 진정성 등에 의한 주관적 작업 결과물이 설치된 시설물을 사용하는 주변 작업자에게는 불안전 요인이 되기도 한다. 이에 작업자의 숙련도나 주관적 판단에 의한 가설 구조물 설치를 회피하여 안전성을 높이기 위한 방안이 연구되어 왔는데 이것이 시스템비계이다. 이러한 시스템비계에 대한 사용성을 확대하기 위해 국토교통부와 고용노동부등의 정부기관에서는 여러 가지 제약과 동시에 장려정책을 제시하고 있으나 공적 발주나 일부 대기업그룹 외의 중소 현장에는 그 확산 속도가 높지않은 편이다.

  • 본 논문에서는 앞서 진행한 연구들과 딥러닝을 이용한 고소작업자 행동 모니터링 논문에 이어 작업자 위험 행동분류 시스템을 개선할 수 있는 연구 결과를 비교, 설명한다. 이번 연구에서는 작업자의 행동에 따른 고도계 센서의 데이터를 추가로 수집하여 작업자의 더 다양한 행동을 분류하고 위험 행동 패턴 분석을 위한 방향을 제시한다.

Effect of Tree Height on Light Transmission, Spray Penetration, Tree Growth, and Fruit Quality in the Slender-spindle System of 'Hongro'/M9 Apple Trees ('홍로'/M.9 사과나무의 세장방추형에서 수고가 투광율, 투약율, 수체 생육 및 과실 품질에 미치는 영향)

  • This study was carried out to determine the effect of tree height on light transmission, spray penetration, tree growth performance, fruit quality attributes, and labor productivity in the slender-spindle system of 'Hongro'/M.9 apple trees. With increasing tree height, the light penetration into the internal parts of the canopy decreased, especially in the lower canopy. Leaf area index (LAI) increased with increasing tree height, thereby leading to a reduction in the extent of spray penetration into the interior of the canopy. With increasing tree height, shoot growth was more vigorous but produced slender shoots in the upper canopy compared to the lower canopy. Although the soluble solid content and coloration of fruit decreased, there was no difference in fruit firmness and acidity. In addition, the number of final fruit set increased, although the production of large fruit (> 305 g) decreased. The increase in tree height also significantly increased the labor required for practices such as thinning of flowers and fruits, pruning, and harvesting. Nevertheless, this problem of increased in labor input in taller trees would was eased by use of a mechanical lift. Utilizing a lift for thinning the flowers of trees 4.5 m in height saved 14.6 min per tree, compared to the use of ladder. Therefore, it is highly considerable that in order to enhance light transmission and fruit coloration, light conditions should be improved in the internal tree canopy of slender-spindle systems.

Current Status and the Way Forward for Fruit Harvesting Mechanization (과수 수확작업 기계화 현황 및 추진방향)

  • 연구목적: 국내 과일 산업의 한 단계 도약과 대외 경쟁력을 높이기 위해서는 수확작업의 기계화가 시급함. 이 연구는 국내외 과일 수확 기계화 현황과 문제점을 분석하고, 향후 수확작업 기계화 방향을 제시하고자 수행 수확기계 실용화 현황 및 고찰 (국내) 과일을 직접 수확이 아닌 수확 작업을 보조해주는 고지 작업기(수동형, 모터 진동형)와 고소 작업차가 대부분임. 수동형은 사과 감 등을 수확하지만, 작업능률이 낮고 작업자가 쉽게 피로하여 장시간 작업이 불가능하므로 실질적인 대안이 되지 못함. 진동형은 자체 동력을 이용하여 나무에 진동을 가하여 주로 대추 매실 등 소과류 수확에 이용되고, 수확능률은 우수하나 충격 손상이 많아 개선이 요구됨. 고소작업차는 동력원에 따라 충전식과 엔진식으로 구분되고, 충전식은 엔진식에 비해 진동 소음이 적어 쾌적하지만, 작업시간이 배터리 용량에 제한을 받음. 또한 작업대 작동방식에 따라 리프트형과 붐형으로 구분함. 리프트형은 리프트를 이용하여 작업대를 상하로 구동하는 방식으로 높은 위치의 과실 수확이 어렵고, 작업대 넓이 만큼의 작업 공간(과수간의 거리)이 필요함. 붐형은 필요한 곳으로 접근성이 우수하나 무거운 무게를 지탱하기 어렵기 때문에 본체를 무겁게 하거나 수시로 수확된 과일을 하차시켜야 함. (국외) 수확 후 가공되는 과일류와 포도 올리브 오렌지 매실 등 소과류 수확이 기계화되었지만, 사과 복숭아 등 신선과일은 아직도 외국의 값싼 노동자들에 의존하여 수확되고 있음. 현재 실용화된 수확 기계는 진동식 수확기계와 터널식 수확기계가 대표적임. 진동식은 집게형의 부착기를 나무 줄기에 고정한 후 트랙터 동력원으로 나무에 진동을 가하여 수확하고, 올리브 대추 등과 같은 소과류와 과피가 두꺼운 오렌지 등에 적용되고, 수확 작업능률이 매우 높으나 과일의 낙하 상처를 피할 수 없는 단점이 있음. 터널형은 규격화(과수 크기 및 형태, 재식거리)된 과수원에 잘 적응하도록 설계 제작되어, 과수 위를 지나가면서 내부에 설치된 진동장치와 컨테이너로 과일을 수확하고, 와인용 포도 수확기가 대표적임. 기계수확이 가능하도록 과수원 조성단계에서부터 재배양식(과수 좌우 및 전후 거리)을 기계의 제원(바퀴 간격, 작업부 간격 등)에 맞추어 재배함. 과일 수확로봇에 관한 연구는 활발하고 일부에서 실증시험단계에 있음. 결론: 구체적인 추진방향을 제시하면, 단기적으로는 과일 수확작업자의 작업편이성과 노동강도를 줄일 수 있도록 소형 저가 범용성이 우수한 보조기구/기계의 보급을 확대하고, 중장기적으로는 수확기계/수확로봇 개발을 위한 연구개발비 투자를 늘리는 동시에, 기계/로봇이 과수원에 잘 적응할 수 있도록 수형 재식거리 등 재배양식의 표준화가 추진되어야 함.

A Study on Stability Estimation of a Orchard Vehicle using Multi-Body Dynamic and Finite Element Analysis (다물체 동역학 및 유한요소 해석을 통한 과수원용 작업차량 안정성 평가에 관한 연구)

  • Because of effective fruit growing and management in the slope land, the use of orchard vehicle with lifting utilities has been increased. For this reason the study on the stability of that vehicle for worker's safety is needed. This study is investigated on the stability estimation of orchard vehicle with four wheels and dual rectangular-type lifting utilities which can be moved on the dirt sloping load. Through the multi-body dynamics analysis on the vehicle mechanism, overturning angles of 19.2 and $34.6^{\circ}$ in the right-left and front-rear direction can be calculated. It is determined tractive resistances and required powers of the wheels. And through the finite element analysis on the frame of lifting utility its maximum von-Mises stress is 146 MPa and it is structural stable. Therefore it is known that the orchard vehicle with wheels and lifting utilities has static and dynamic stability.

  • The annual statistics on fall fatality consistently show the dangers of working at height. The "Occupational Safety and Health Act" specifies legal restrictions on work at height using a scaffold. However, there are different classes of work at height, and some rely only on ropes. This study proposes education, training, and institutionalization of the "rope access work system." In brief, it was concluded that accurate instruction on the knot method and the setting of some standards were important. For this, the use of an integrated work chair harness equipment was suggested.

A Research on Applicability of Drone Photogrammetry for Dam Safety Inspection (드론 Photogrammetry 기반 댐 시설물 안전점검 적용성 연구)

  • Large dams, which are critical infrastructures for disaster prevention, are exposed to various risks such as aging, floods, and earthquakes. Better dam safety inspection and diagnosis using digital transformation technologies are needed. Traditional visual inspection methods by human inspectors have several limitations, including many inaccessible areas, danger of working at heights, and know-how based subjective inspections. In this study, drone photogrammetry was performed on two large dams to evaluate the applicability of digital data-based dam safety inspection and propose a data management methodology for continuous use. High-quality 3D digital models with GSD (ground sampling distance) within 2.5 cm/pixel were generated by flat double grid missions and manual photography methods, despite reservoir water surface and electromagnetic interferences, and severe altitude differences ranging from 42 m to 99.9 m of dam heights. Geometry profiles of the as-built conditions were easily extracted from the generated 3D mesh models, orthomosaic images, and digital surface models. The effectiveness of monitoring dam deformation by photogrammetry was confirmed. Cracks and deterioration of dam concrete structures, such as spillways and intake towers, were detected and visualized efficiently using the digital 3D models. This can be used for safe inspection of inaccessible areas and avoiding risky tasks at heights. Furthermore, a methodology for mapping the inspection result onto the 3D digital model and structuring a relational database for managing deterioration information history was proposed. As a result of measuring the labor and time required for safety inspection at the SYG Dam spillway, the drone photogrammetry method was found to have a 48% productivity improvement effect compared to the conventional manpower visual inspection method. The drone photogrammetry-based dam safety inspection is considered very effective in improving work productivity and data reliability.

  • For solving problems of manpower and improving working environment, Robot System have been introduced. In the past, Robot System was adopted mass production, indoor factory condition, but present Robot System is applied to many other fields. This applied field is Robot System was adopted fruit harvest, maintenance, and so on. The developed Multi-Linked Lifter is applied to eminant multi-purpose working. The purpose of this study is to develop control algorithm for this equipment composed of multi-linked manipulator.
