The study conducted afrequency analysis to explain demographic characteristics using SPSS 18.0. Other anaylses were perfromed in order to investigate the effects of online shopping mall HMR selection attributes upon satisfaction and repurchase intention. The findings revealed that convenience, package brands, palatability, price and food quality appropriateness exhibited a significant influence, although food quality did not have a significant influence on customer satisfaction. In addition, customer satisfaction had a significant influence upon repurchase intention. • This research attempts to identify N-screen users' motivational and dissatisfying factors in relation to their willingness for continued future use of the service. An on-line survey was conducted (N=558) to reveal five major factors for N-screen use: Medium usability (interface usability and daily usefulness), Socialness (potential for social use with family and friends), Mobility (use without restraints of time and space), Contents (diversity of contents catalogue and related information search), and Habitual use. With exception of Contents factor, four of those factors were proven to be meaningful predictors of the users' willingness for continued future use of N-screen service. Meanwhile, two factors were extracted as the major source for N-screen users' dissatisfaction: Customer service (dissatisfaction associated with the service itself) and Contents (dissatisfaction relating to contents use). The effect of those two dissatisfaction factors was examined. The results show that Contents dissatisfaction, in comparison with Customer service dissatisfaction, was a more powerful predictor for discontinuing of N-screen service use.

  • An important issue for the improvement of product quality is to identify and understand the customer-required attributes of a product. This paper identifies and analyzes customer-required attributes of formal knitwear for middle age and elderly women through the use of the Kano model in order to develop competitive products. Various research methods were used in this study. Customer voices for formal knitwear were collected by means of brainstorming and in-depth interviews. The collected customer voices were transformed into customer-required attributes with the use of an affinity diagram. In addition, the data was collected by means of a questionnaire and was statistically analyzed to examine the dimensions of customer-required attributes on the basis of the Kano model. The results are as follows. Five categories of customer-required attributes were identified (symbolism, aesthetic, fitness, usefulness, and maintenance). The analysis based on the Kano model identifies a strong one-dimensional quality in all of the categories of customer-required attributes and the attractive quality that includes a one-dimensional quality in the categories of fitness and usefulness. The findings of this study demonstrate the applicability of the affinity diagram for apparel that educates formal knitwear developers of the customer-required attributes that they should strategically focus on in order to develop competitive products.

  • The definition of the product market in a supplier's point of view can cause various problems in the market activities of companies because specific situations are excluded and the consideration for discontinuity is lacking by identifying segmented markets with processes, raw materials, the similarity of product functions and so forth. Furthermore, as this definition is static and general, it is difficult to express and predict the dynamic market changes. Meanwhile, customer-oriented market segment can be obtained by grouping substitutable products and related customers in the situation pursuing specific benefits. This definition of the product market enables us to find threats and opportunities emerging in markets and promotes effective performance assessments and resource allocation. The purpose of this paper is suggesting a framework to select data mining techniques proper for the customer data characteristics to identify customer oriented product market.

  • In this paper, we propose an algorithm that can improve the accuracy performance of collaborative filtering using attribute-based opinion mining (ABOM). For the experiment, a total of 1,227 online consumer review data about smartphone apps from domestic smartphone users were used for analysis. After morpheme analysis using the KKMA (Kkokkoma) analyzer and emotional word analysis using KOSAC, attribute extraction is performed using LDA topic modeling, and the topic modeling results for each weighted review are used to add up the ratings of collaborative filtering and the sentiment score. MAE, MAPE, and RMSE, which are statistical model performance evaluations that calculate the average accuracy error, were used. Through experiments, we predicted the accuracy of online customers' app ratings (APP_Score) by combining traditional collaborative filtering among the recommendation algorithms and the attribute-based opinion mining (ABOM) technique, which combines LDA attribute extraction and sentiment analysis. As a result of the analysis, it was found that the prediction accuracy of ratings using attribute-based opinion mining CF was better than that of ratings implementing traditional collaborative filtering.
