The definition of quality continues to evolve. In recent years, there has been growing interest in how to satisfy customers' potential needs with an emphasis on customer-oriented quality. Two-dimensional quality proposed by Kano provides a useful framework for discovering quality attributes critical to customer satisfaction and it is widely employed for product and service development. In Kano model, quality attributes are classified into attractive, one-dimensional, must-be, indifferent, and reverse ones. Finding attractive elements among them is important for achieving customer satisfaction effectively. However, Kano's classification method has limitations in dealing with customers' ambiguous and complex ideas. The customer response itself includes uncertainty and incompleteness. To overcome this problem, fuzzy methods are incorporated with Kano's classification in this paper. According to numerical comparisons, it is shown that the fuzzy Kano method is useful for accommodating various response of customer and is helpful to identify potential needs.
Purpose: This study is to help assist in the management of optical shops by using the importance sequence of optical shop selection attributes, which is related to the consumer's selection method of consumer, and by using the importance sequence of optical shop information sources which is related to a route for optical shop selection. Methods: Customer surveys were conducted from March 10 to March 31, 2015 targeting customers who have visited an optical shop in Seoul and Northern Gyeonggi-do regions. The analys method was descriptive statistics and data were analyzed by utilizing SPSS v.10.0 statistical package program. Results: The highest ranking five attributes among the importance of optical shop selection are "friendliness and politeness of staff", "cleanliness of an optical shop", "quick resolution of customer's complaints by staff", "eyes examination and glasses dispensing skill of staff", "customer's complaints and claims handling". The lowest ranking five attributes among the importance of optical shop selection are "provide free gifts", "scale or size of an optical shop", "opening time and closing time", "convenient parking facilities", "favorable countenance of staff". The two highestr ranking criteria among the importance of optical shop information sources are "previous utilization experience", "recommendation by a relative, a friend and a family etc". The two lowest ranking criteria among the importance of optical shop information sources are "advertisement" and "spatial exterior view of optical shop". Conclusions: It is shown that the important thing in management of an optical shop is an inner caliber like ability of ophthalmic optician, interaction with customers, and previous utilization experience rather than external factors like advertisement, exterior view, and bonus gift.

Product factory is a real-time financial product design system for the Internet customers. The hybrid product is a product taking combined characteristics of two different products. Hybrid product factory is a product factory that designs hybrid products from two different products based on both business rules and customer requirements. Though the importance of product factory is emphasized in the industry, there has not been much research peformed regarding product factory. In this research, we developed a product factory system that designs hybrid products. To design a hybrid product, it is necessary to have a method to combine attributes and values of two different products, and a method to control the combining operations to properly reflect business requirements. In this research, we developed low different combining operators and business rule representations. rn addition, to prove the effectiveness of this methods, we implemented a prototypical system and demonstrated on cases regarding financial loan products.
With the intensity of competition and the standardization of technical attributes in telecommunications service market increasing, differentiated activity and customer experience in service encounter is regarded as an important means for creating customer value, however, there is a dearth of good literature examining what MOT activity is composed of according to consumption chain, and how service quality of MOT has influenced customer performance. Especially there exist various services across different phase of Product life cycle(PLC) in household telecommunication service market, customer requirement for MOT might depend on whether its phase is introduction-growth stage or maturity-decline stage, the empirical study is completely lacking. This study classified household telecommunication services into two types by PLC, VOIP and IPTV as Introduction-growth stage services, Internet and PSTN as maturity-decline stage service, and investigated whether there exists a gap between service types in how consumer have experienced MOT, what they consider as important and the relative importance of quality dimension how service quality of MOT has influence on consumer performance. The empirical result from 858 participants shows that there is a difference in consumer experience and requirements across different phases of the PLC, tangibles and assurance are regarded as the most important service quality factors which have a positive influence on customer performance (consumer satisfaction, repurchase intention and word of mouth) at the introduction-growth stage, whereas, reliability, empathy and interactivity are at the maturity-decline stage. Finally, managerial implication is made, limitation is clarified and a direction for further studies is suggested.
The purpose of this study is to explore the applicability of QFD to product development of clothes by empirically applying it to development of a specific clothes, middle and elderly women’s formal knitwear. The voices of customers(VOCs) for formal knitwear was collected through in-depth interviews with 25 customers, shop masters, and designers. Also, questionnaires of which respondents were 230 customers were used to rank the importance of the items of VOC. A QFD team of 10 knitwear experts implemented the task of translating VOCs into design attributes and measuring the values of the relationships between VOCs and design attributes. Importance ranking of the items of design attributes was obtained based on Lyman's method. The results of this study were as follows. First, the customer requirements for formal knitwear were classified into five dimensions, that is, symbolism, aesthetic, fitness, usefulness, and maintenance. Second, the descending order of the necessity of improving the quality was maintenance, aesthetic, fitness, usefulness, and symbolism. Third, three-staged design attributes were obtained as a result of translating of VOCs into design attributes. Lastly, the descending order of the importance of design attributes was "sorts of yarn", "sorts of color jacquard", "color", "tone", "ease", etc.
In the era of the 4th Industrial Revolution customers living began to come out, not inside the purchase funnel. Due to the diversity of product selection and the increase in digital channels, the way customers search for information and purchase it is changing innovatively. So, the customer journey in the digital age is much more complicated than the traditional funnel model suggests. Unlike many previous studies, this study was conducted for 1,200 customers in four product groups of fashion, automobile, cosmetics, and online shopping malls. As a result of the study, we investigated how digital self-efficacy plays a role in purchasing in a series of processes in which digital experience affects customer satisfaction and finally affects purchase. As a theoretical implication, as a result of introducing and testing digital self efficacy as moderated mediation effect. the digital self-efficacy between customer satisfaction and customer loyalty were determined to play a moderated mediation effect role. As a practical implication, it was necessary to actively utilize digital marketing for customers with high digital self-efficacy, but it was suggested that customers with low digital self-efficacy need to be careful about digital marketing fatigue.

Collaborative filtering which is used explicit method in a existing recommedation system, can not only reflect exact attributes of item but also still has the problem of sparsity and scalability, though it has been practically used to improve these defects. This paper proposes the personalized recommendation system using RFM method and k-means clustering in u-commerce which is required by real time accessablity and agility. In this paper, using a implicit method which is is not used complicated query processing of the request and the response for rating, it is necessary for us to keep the analysis of RFM method and k-means clustering to be able to reflect attributes of the item in order to find the items with high purchasablity. The proposed makes the task of clustering to apply the variable of featured vector for the customer's information and calculating of the preference by each item category based on purchase history data, is able to recommend the items with efficiency. To estimate the performance, the proposed system is compared with existing system. As a result, it can be improved and evaluated according to the criteria of logicality through the experiment with dataset, collected in a cosmetic internet shopping mall.

Public libraries have been facing new challenges as the number of channels providing information resources has been increasing due to information and communication technology development. The perception of public libraries of the general public is that they should continue to play a substantial role in information services. However, the libraries' environments are changing, and the public's needs are diversifying, so public libraries also need to differentiate themselves from other organizations that provide similar services. This paper proposes branding as a solution to create differentiation. The study conducted a questionnaire survey with Koreans in their 20s. A series of statistical tests with the survey data showed the impact of the brand association elements on customer satisfaction and brand loyalty and identified unique factors in public libraries. For example, Brand associations such as material-based services, benefits, and attitude affected both dependent variables. On the other hand, the non-product association such as space/place images did not. Based on these findings, we provided implications for introducing branding in public libraries.
