A Tree-Based Indexing Method for Mobile Data Broadcasting (모바일 데이터 브로드캐스팅을 위한 트리 기반의 인덱싱 방법)

  • In this mobile computing environment, data broadcasting is widely used to resolve the problem of limited power and bandwidth of mobile equipments. Most previous broadcast indexing methods concentrate on flat data. However. with the growing popularity of XML, an increasing amount of information is being stored and exchanged in the XML format. We propose a novel indexing method. called TOP tree(Tree Ordering based Path summary tree), for indexing XML document on mobile broadcast environments. TOP tree is a path summary tree which provides a concise structure summary at group level using global IDs and element information at local level using local IDs. Based on the TOP tree representation, we suggest a broadcast stream generation and query Processing method that efficiently handles not only simple Path queries but also multiple path queries. We have compared our indexing method with other indexing methods. Evaluation results show that our approaches can effectively improve the access time and tune-in time in a wireless broadcasting environment.

  • Since it is difficult for individual power producers and non-professionals who lack basic knowledge to control, manage, and operate facilities through EMS (Energy Management System), augmented reality and virtual reality monitoring systems are applied. However, in the existing systems, data access efficiency is inferior due to the process of analyzing column values for analog signal values collected from sensors and converting data after combining the columns. In addition, high-speed operation processing is difficult due to a large number of indexes for accommodating access patterns for various analog signal waveforms. Therefore, in this paper, a bitmap generator is inserted into a non-tree structure to convert the data collected from power facilities into physical property information, and the converted information is encrypted with a common key, so that the resources for the resources shared between each device are We propose a method of exchanging data for an augmented reality-based power system that is controlled by measurement.

Index block mapping for flash memory system (플래쉬 메모리 시스템을 위한 인덱스 블록 매핑)

  • Flash memory is non-volatile and can retain data even after system is powered off. Besides, it has many other features such as fast access speed, low power consumption, attractive shock resistance, small size, and light-weight. As its price decreases and capacity increases, the flash memory is expected to be widely used in consumer electronics, embedded systems, and mobile devices. Flash storage systems generally adopt a software layer, called FTL. In this research, we proposed a new FTL mechanism for overcoming the major drawback of conventional block mapping algorithm. In addition to the block mapping table, a index block mapping table with a small size is used to indicate sector location. The proposed indexed block mapping algorithm by adding a small size. By the simulation result, the proposed FTL provides an enhanced speed than a conventional hybrid mapping algorithm by around 45% in average, and the requirement of mapping memory is also reduced by around 12%.

Enhancement of HCB Tree for Improving Retrieval Performance and Dynamic Environments (검색 성능 향상과 동적 환경을 위한 HCB 트리의 개선)

  • CB tree represents the binary trie by a compact binary sequence. However, retrieval time grows fast since the more keys stored in the trie, longer the binary sequences are. In addition it is inefficient for frequent key insertion/deletion. HCB tree is a hierarchical CB tree consisting of small binary tries. However it can not avoid shift operations and have to scan an additional table to refer child or parent trie. In order to improve retrieval performance and avoid shift operations when keys are inserted or deleted, we in this paper represent each separated trie by a full binary trie and then assign the unique identifier to it. Finally the theoretical evaluations show that both the proposed approach and HCB tree provides better than CB tree for key retrieval. The proposed approach shows the highest performance in case of key insertion/deletion and moreover requires only 71%~89% of storage as compared with CB tree.

A Stock Price Prediction Based on Recurrent Convolution Neural Network with Weighted Loss Function (가중치 손실 함수를 가지는 순환 컨볼루션 신경망 기반 주가 예측)

  • This paper proposes the stock price prediction based on the artificial intelligence, where the model with recurrent convolution neural network (RCNN) layers is adopted. In the motivation of this prediction, long short-term memory model (LSTM)-based neural network can make the output of the time series prediction. On the other hand, the convolution neural network provides the data filtering, averaging, and augmentation. By combining the advantages mentioned above, the proposed technique predicts the estimated stock price of next day. In addition, in order to emphasize the recent time series, a custom weighted loss function is adopted. Moreover, stock data related to the stock price index are adopted to consider the market trends. In the experiments, the proposed stock price prediction reduces the test error by 3.19%, which is over other techniques by about 19%.

A Study of Path-based Retrieval for JSON Data Using Suffix Arrays (접미사 배열을 이용한 JSON 데이터의 경로 기반 검색에 대한 연구)

  • As the use of various application services utilizing Web and IoT and the need for large amounts of data management expand accordingly, the importance of efficient data expression and exchange scheme and data query processing is increasing. JSON, characterized by its simplicity, is being used in various fields as a format for data exchange and data storage instead of XML, which is a standard data expression and exchange language on the Web. This means that it is important to develop indexing and query processing techniques to effectively access and search large amounts of data expressed in JSON. Therefore, in this paper, we modeled JSON data with a hierarchical structure in a tree form, and proposed indexing and query processing using the path concept. In particular, we designed an index structure using a suffix array widely used in text search and introduced simple and complex path-based JSON data query processing methods.

  • Due to the rapid development in mobile communication technologies, the usage of mobile devices such as cell phone or PDA becomes increasingly popular. As different devices require different applications, various new services are being developed to satisfy the needs. One of the popular services under heavy demand is the Location-based Service (LBS) that exploits the spatial information of moving objects per temporal changes. In order to support LBS efficiently, it is necessary to be able to index and query well a large amount of spatio-temporal information of moving objects. Therefore, in this paper, we investigate how such location information of moving objects can be efficiently stored and indexed. In particular, we propose a novel location encoding method based on hierarchical administrative district information. Our proposal is different from conventional approaches where moving objects are often expressed as geometric points in two dimensional space, (x,y). Instead, in ours, moving objects are encoded as one dimensional points by both administrative district as well as road information. Our method is especially useful for monitoring traffic situation or tracing location of moving objects through approximate spatial queries.

  • 사용자들의 특성에 맞게 개인화되고 세분화된 위치 기반 서비스를 제공하기 위해서는 방대한 이동 객체의 위치 이력 데이터 집합으로부터 유용한 패턴을 추출하여 의미 있는 지식을 탐사하기 위한 시공간 패턴 탐사가 필요하다. 현재까지 다양한 패턴 탐사 기법들이 제안되었으나 이동 패턴들 중 단순히 시공간 제약이 없는 빈발 패턴만을 추출하기 때문에 한정된 시간 범위와 제한적인 영역 범위 내에서의 빈발 패턴을 탐사하는 문제에는 적용하기 어렵다. 또한 패턴 탐사 수행 시 데이터베이스를 반복 스캔하여 탐사 수행시간이 많이 소요되는 문제를 포함하거나 메모리상에 탐사 대상인 후보 패턴 트리를 생성하는 방법을 통해 탐사 시간을 줄일 수는 있으나 이동 객체 수나 최소지지도 등에 따라 트리를 구성하고 유지하는데 드는 비용이 커질 수 있다. 따라서 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위한 효율적인 패턴 탐사 기법의 개발이 요구됨으로써 선행 작업으로 본 논문에서는 상세 수준의 객체 이력 데이터들의 시간 및 공간 속성을 의미 있는 시간영역과 공간영역 정보로 변환하는 시공간 데이터 일반화 방법을 제안한다. 제안된 방법은 공간 개념 계층에 대한 영역 정보들을 영역 Grid 해쉬 테이블(AGHT:Area Grid Hash Table)로 생성하여 공간 인덱스트리인 R*-Tree의 검색 방법을 이용해 이동 객체의 위치 속성을 2차원 공간영역으로 일반화하고, 시간 개념 계층을 생성하여 이동 객체의 시간적인 속성을 시간 영역으로 일반화함으로써 일반화된 데이터 집합을 형성하여 효율적인 이동 객체의 시간 패턴 마이닝을 유도할 수 있다.의 성능을 기대할 수 있을 것이다.onium sulfate첨가배지(添加培地)에서 가장 저조(低調)하였다. vitamin중(中)에서는 niacin과 thiamine첨가배지(添加培地)에서 근소(僅少)한 증가(增加)를 나타내었다.소시켜 항이뇨 및 Na 배설 감소를 초래하는 작용과, 둘째는 신경 경로를 통하지 않고, 아마도 humoral factor를 통하여 신세뇨관에서 Na 재흡수를 억제하는 작용이 복합적으로 나타내는 것을 알 수 있었다.으로 초래되는 복합적인 기전으로 추정되었다., 소형과와 기형과는 S-3에서 많이 나왔다. 이상 연구결과에서 입도분포가 1.2-5mm인 것이 바람직한 것으로 나타났다.omopolysaccharides로 확인되었다. Data Congestion Control Using Drones in Clustered Heterogeneous Wireless Sensor Network (클러스터된 이기종 무선 센서 네트워크에서의 드론을 이용한 데이터 혼잡 제어)

  • The clustered heterogeneous wireless sensor network is comprised of sensor nodes and cluster heads, which are hierarchically organized for different objectives. In the network, we should especially take care of managing node resources to enhance network performance based on memory and battery capacity constraints. For instances, if some interesting events occur frequently in the vicinity of particular sensor nodes, those nodes might receive massive amounts of data. Data congestion can happen due to a memory bottleneck or link disconnection at cluster heads because the remaining memory space is filled with those data. In this paper, we utilize drones as mobile sinks to resolve data congestion and model the network, sensor nodes, and cluster heads. We also design a cost function and a congestion indicator to calculate the degree of congestion. Then we propose a data congestion map index and a data congestion mapping scheme to deploy drones at optimal points. Using control variable, we explore the relationship between the degree of congestion and the number of drones to be deployed, as well as the number of drones that must be below a certain degree of congestion and within communication range. Furthermore, we show that our algorithm outperforms previous work by a minimum of 20% in terms of memory overflow.

  • Road Traffic Authority and National Police Agency is currently managing the "development of an integrated metropolitan traffic information infrastructure" that installs of facilities for a traffic information infrastructures, such as Local Traffic Information Center, UTIS(Urban Traffic Information System), CCTV, VMS and etc. CTIC was established in 2005 to act as an traffic information hub and to provide integrated UTIS traffic information without regional barriers. This study was carried out to seek for solution to improve quality of UTIS traffic information service for the Central Traffic Information Center(CTIC). In this study, the Evaluation index for UTIS traffic information service was developed and the implementation plan was established by using requirement analysis method, case study and AHP(Analytic Hierarchy Process) technique. The Evaluation index consist of 5 fields and 20 index, it make possible evaluation of direct/indirect effect for UTIS traffic information service. In conclusion, It is expected that quality of UTIS traffic information service will be improved by using developed evaluation index and also can be applied for performance evaluation of other traffic information systems.
