강관말뚝식 계류돌핀의 수치적 설계최적화 (Numerical Design Optimization of Mooring Dolphin of Steel Pile Type)

  • Optimum design of mooring dolphin is numerically investigated. Design optimization problem of mooring dolphin is first formulated. Geometry and cross sections of piles are used as design variables. Design objective is the total weight of steel piles of mooring dolphin and the constraints of stress, penetration depth, lower and upper bounds on design variables are imposed. Based on the design variable linking and fixing, several class of design variations are sought. For the numerical optimization, both PLBA( Pshenichny-Lim-Belegundu-Arora) program and DNCONF subroutine code in IMSL library are used. For a dolphin with 20 steel piles, vertical and inclined, optimum designs for different cases are successfully obtained, which can be applied for the mooring of a large floating structure.

  • 본 논문에서는 선체 블록의 운반 작업 중 발생하는 동적 하중 및 골리앗 크레인의 와이어로프와 선체블록 간의 동적 접촉력을 고려한 최적 러그 배치 시스템을 설계하고, 다물체계 동역학 커널과 외력 계산커널을 개발하였다. 다물체계 동역학 커널은 recursive formulation을 이용하여 운동 방정식을 구성하고, 외력 계산 커널은 비선형 유체정역학적 힘, 선형 유체동역학적 힘, 풍력, 계류력을 계산할 수 있다. 이를 이용해 블록에 작용하는 와이어로프와 블록 간의 간섭과 동적 접촉력을 계산하고, 그 결과를 이용하여 러그가 부착된 블록의 구조 해석을 수행하였다.

  • It is very important to secure the marine vessels during entire loading and off-loading operations. The environment influences on loading conditions. the western coastal area of Korea is characterized as a strong current due to a high tidal range. The tension of mooring lines varies as per the current and wave changing its magnitude during the day. A proper mooring arrangement and design of mooring line should be determined as per environment conditions. In this study, a 50,000 DWT container ship being moored is investigated numerically. The dynamic tension of mooring lines is estimated by MORA (Mooring Response Analysis) software. Environmental conditions of selected offshore terminal site are plugged as input data. The mooring line tensions are obtained for various wave frequencies per wave directions. The results demonstrate the change of tensions of lines and the allowable range of safe conditions in berthed mooring.

산지 계류수의 수질 특성(지역환경 \circled1) (Streamflow Quality in a Forest Land)

  • This study was carried out to investigate water quality of streamflow in a forest land. We measured discharges and the concentration of streamflow for T-N, T-P, COD, cations(Na$\^$+/, K$\^$+/, Ca$\^$2+/, Mg$\^$2+/), and anions(CI$\^$-/, SO$\_$4/$\^$2-/). The average concentration of pollutants were extremely low, such as 0.4mg/$\ell$ for T-N, 0.02 mg/$\ell$ for T-P and 2.68mg/$\ell$for COD. The concentration of cations have a tendency to decrease with increasing discharge, while the concentration of SO$\_$4/$\^$2-/) increase with increasing discharge. It was found that the average concentration of Ca$\^$2+/ was highest and that of K$\^$+/ was lowest among cations.

계류삭의 비선형운동특성해석에 관한 연구 (A Study on Nonlinear Analysis of Mooring Lines)

  • This paper investigates the static configurations and the dynamic behaviors of a single point mooring line. To obtain the static configuration and static tension distribution along the mooring line, including the effect of fluid nonlinear drag and the elasticity of the line, the Runge-Kutta fourth order numerical method was used. The relationship between the horizontal excursion and the horizontal restoring force component of the mooring line, which is very important to a mooring line design, and the effect of a subsurface buoy on the static configuration are presented. In nonlinear dynamic analysis including nonlinear fluid drag acting on the line and geometrical nonlinearity for large deflections, finite element method using updated Lagrangian was used to obtain the solution. In the case of upper end harmonic excitation of the mooring line, the dynamic motion and the tension were also presented.

  • When ship claps against the ocean structure sited at shallow water, the time simulation of motion responses of dolphin-moored ocean structure is presented. The equatien of motion based on Cummin's theory of impulse responses are employed, and solved in time domain by using the Newmark $\beta$ method. The added mass and damping coefficients involved in the equations are obtained from a three-dimensional panel method in the frequency domain. The impact forces due to ship collision are modeled as two method, and those are elastic and non-elastic collisions. The mooring forces for dolphin systems of scean structure are considered as linear spring system.

ISSC-TLP의 운동응답 및 변동장력에 미치는 다방향 불규칙파의 영향 (Effects of the Multi-directional Irregular Waves on the Motion Responses and Tension Variations of ISSC-TLP)

  • A numerical procedure is described for estimating the effects of the multi-directional irregular waves on the motion responses and tension variations of the ISSC-TLP. The numerical approach is based on a three-dimensional source distribution method and a spectral analysis technique of directional waves. The spectral description for the linear system of ISSC-TLP in the frequency domain is sufficient to completely define the motion responses and tension variations. This is because both the wave inputs and responses are stationary Gaussian random processes, of which the statistical properties in the amplitude domain are well known. The numerical results for the linear motion responses and tension variations in regular waves are compared with the experimental and numerical ones, which are obtained in the literature. The results of comparison confirmed the validity of the proposed approach.

장주기파를 고려한 항만 가동율의 평가 (Evaluation of the Harbor Operation Rate Considering Long Period Waves)

  • In this study, the characteristics of long period waves are analyzed by field observation at Sokcho harbor on the eastern coast of Korea. firstly. the pressure data obtained from field observation are transformed into water surface elevations and the wave by wave analysis is applied to the observed wave data. also, we select long period waves by setting up the range 30-200sec, and suggest the relationship between ordinary waves and long period waves using the concept of the significant wave height. and, we examine the effects oft he long period waves on the rate of the harbor operation. The observation results demonstrate that the long period waves with heights of 1.2-14.6cm and periods of 35.8-162sec exist at Sokcho harbor. also, we found the rates of harbor operation based on long period waves are 61.8%-99.5% lower than the usual rates of 93.8%-100%.

파랑중 계류된 선박의 표류감쇠에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Wave Drift Damping of a Moored Ship in Waves)

  • As the offshore oil fields are moved to the deep ocean, the oil production system of FPSO(Floating Production Storage and Offloading System) Type are constructed frequently these days. So, it is very important to estimate the drift motion and damping effects due to the drift motion simultaneously. The components of slow drift motion damping consist of viscous, wave radiation effect and wave drift damping. It is needed to estimate the wave drift damping more accurately than others. The wave drift damping signifies the time-rate of mean wave drift force on oscillating ship or ocean structure which constant speed. In order to calculate this, the 3-Dimensional panel method is employed with the translating and pulsating Green function in the frequency domain. The calculation is carried out for a Series 60 ($C_B$/=0.7) and the results are compared with other numerical ones.

  • 평택지방해양수산청은 서해권역의 인천, 평택, 대산, 군산해양수산청의 부표류에 대한 점검업무를 수행하고 있다. 서해권역은 해역 특성상 안전을 위해 부표류의 설치가 해마다 증가하여 전국에서 가장 많은 기수가 설치 운영되고 있으며, 부표류의 이탈사고 또한 지속적으로 발생하고 있다. 부표류의 안정적 운영을 위한 점검 정비 및 사고 감소를 위한 업무의 개선이 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 부표류의 사고원인을 분석하고, 부표류 사고를 줄이기 위한 개선된 점검 정비 방법 및 효율적인 관리를 방안을 제시하였다.
