In order to clarify the trend of study by the researchers in the field of library and information science. This study is to analyze the thesis of library and information science researchers in various aspects which is included in LISA and ISA, the representative database in library and information science. In addition, the study is to analyze the form of citation of domestic library and information science researchers by studying the citation written in the thesis of the database according to the classification of form and nationality. The study made a conclusion that the journal is most frequent]y cited regarding forms, which is expected to promote the internationalization of library and information science and indicate the direction of our study in the future.

In this study, we use the data collected from Twitter, as an SNS(Social Networking Service), for service innovation. This data was collected and processed by Flume. The data set in May 2016 was 4,766 and 15,543 from company S and company X, respectively. We were able to figure out the emotional atmosphere of the two companies through the sentiment analysis(SA) and to find out about the vertical relationship through the bibliometric analysis(BA). Furthermore, we were able to grasp the horizontal relationship through the social network analysis(SNA). It was concluded that SNS was worth while to derive an innovative item.

This study is to examine into the research pattern of the domestic library and information science scholars through the bibliometric analysis. It analyzed treatise in SSCI, the model citation index database about the most authoritative social-scientific journals, with various viewpoints, such as authors, subjects, journals, native universities, post universities, years, core of the majoring subjects, major authors and journals. In addition, it analyzed citation factors of another treatise which appeared in SSCI. We foresee it will be useful to indicate the way of study following internationalization.

The improvement and richness of research in a particular domain are fundamentally based on their own various research topics and scientific or systematic research methodology. Especially considering fisheries business administration as a branch of business administration, the interdisciplinary concept will be a important factor in the research of fisheries business administration. This study analyzes fisheries business administration research through bibliometric analysis and meta-analysis to examine meta-data including research trends, researcher characteristics, and keywords. The 225 source articles are all papers published from 1990 to 2006 in the Journal of Fisheries Business Administration Society of Korea. Comparing previous research from the 80s, the major areas of Korean fisheries business administration research have changed and the rate of co-researched papers has also increased. In keyword-based meta-analysis, the topics of recent research are well balanced and diversified but some structural and editorial problems still remain. The result from meta-data and bibliometric information gathered in this study will help create guidelines for carrying out further rigorous research and enhancing the quality of research in fisheries business administration.

This paper analyzes and studies all the publications as well as the flow of knowledge and information on the Korea-Japan relationship during the 20th century, especially in the area of culture. For the purpose of the systematic study, the subject area was divided into the following six parts, 1) Civilization at large, 2) Philosophy, 3) Religion 4) Arts, 5) Language, and 6) Literature. As the result of the study, a union catalog for monographic publications from both countries has been produces. The union catalog has produced that more publications have bean issued in Japan than in Korea in every part of the subject. During the part 15 years, however, Korea has produced over 106 publications more than Japan.

Borderline resectable pancreatic cancer, an intermediate stage between a completely resectable state and an unresectable state, requires a multidisciplinary treatment approach. This study aimed to elucidate the main characteristics and recent research trends regarding borderline resectable pancreatic cancer to gain further insights into them. Data from published papers about borderline resectable pancreatic cancer were collected from Web of Science (2014-2023) for the analysis. This study included 355 papers; data on major countries, publishing organizations, and keywords were collected and analyzed. Furthermore, R studio and VOSviewer were used for the qualitative and quantitative analyses of keywords. Publication of papers on borderline resectable pancreatic cancer was observed to be increasing annually by 12.8%, with the United States and Japan being the main publishing countries. In 2014, keywords related to surgery and chemotherapy were dominant; however, a shift toward more integrative approaches, such as neoadjuvant therapy, was observed over time. This study demonstrates rapidly evolving trends and paradigm changes in the research and management of borderline resectable pancreatic cancer. Thus, the results of this study are expected to contribute to establishing future research strategies and improving patient treatment outcomes.

This study aimed at analyzing the keywords and authors of the KCI listed theological journals and finding the official research performance of Korean theology. This study divided the periods in two according to how duplicate the authors are and found hierarchical clusters by analyzing 92 keywords using the McQuitty method. In analyzing them, the Ward linkage method was selected to prevent the authors from gathering into a small number of clusters. Also, to find how influential the journals were to the keywords, the keywords and the percentage of the journals in them were presented together. The authors were analyzed in terms of deciding the positions of them using normalized performance index representing the number of journals and growth index as a growth tendency. Especially, significant researchers were all reformed theologians in a growth index. In the analysis of the keywords of the KCI journals and the authors, the main subject terms of the Korean theology were related to systematic theology and the New Testament. By analyzing the KCI listed journals as the Korean official citation index, this study has made a difference to the advanced articles analyzing the non-KCI listed theological journals.

Although it has been a long subject of study why researchers prefer some cited documents to others, the existing relative researches have had a variety of perspectives on the nature and complexity of the citation behavior and not provided a complete answer to this question. In particular, Korea researchers mainly used statistical analysis of bibliographic information, which has limitations in revealing dynamic and complex cognitive aspects of the citation process. In this study, I investigate the citer perception of citing motives and bibliographic factors through survey and compared the responses according to the researchers' characteristics. After extracting the 22 motivations and 21 factors through the literature analysis and configuring a 5-point Likert scale questions, I conducted a survey in the wat of an e-mail attachment. From the SPSS 22.0, the frequency analysis, t-test, and one-way ANOVA were performed on the 354 valid samples. As a result, it is found that supporting is considered the most important citing motive and social connection, self-citation have little influence. In the case of bibliographic factors, the journal's reputation was recognized the most influential factor and the number of pages and authors was the least. Significant differences in fields of study and research careers were showed in some parts. These results can substantiate earlier studies, determine whether the factors assumed influential in selecting references were intended, and suggest the search point to the specialty library or academic database.

This study aims to understand the research landscape of South Korea using the data of 2020 Google Scholar Metrics. To achieve the goal, we constructed and analyzed four types of networks including the university collaboration network, the keyword co-occurrence network, the journal citation network, and the discipline citation network. Through the analysis of the university collaboration network, we found major universities such as Seoul National University, Keimyung University, and Sungkyunkwan University that have led collaborative research. Job related keywords such as job change intention and job satisfaction have been frequently studied with other keywords. Through the analysis of the journal citation network, we found multiple journals such as The Journal of the Korea Contents Association, Korean Journal of Sociology, and Korean Journal of Culture and Social Issues that have been widely cited by the other journals and influenced them. Finally, Education, Business administration, and Social welfare were identified as the top influential disciplines that have influenced other disciplines through the knowledge diffusion. The study is the first of its kind to use the data of Google Scholar Metrics and conduct a stepwise network analysis (e.g., keyword, journal, and discipline) to broadly understand the research landscape of South Korea. Our results can be used by government agencies and universities to develop effective strategies of promoting university collaboration and interdisciplinary research.

Objectives : As acupuncture treatment has been widely practiced in many countries around the world, clinical trials of acupuncture treatments also have become popular. The objective of the study was to explore the trends of research investigating the effect of acupuncture treatment in clinical trials using a bibliometric approach, a quantitative analytical methods. Methods : Publications related to clinical trials using acupuncture from 2000 to 2019 were retrieved from the Web of Science database. Extracted articles were analyzed in terms of publication year, country, journal, research area, organizations and authors. Trends in research on acupuncture in clinical trials were visualized using the VOSviewer program. Results : A total of 3,166 articles of acupuncture clinical trials published from 2000 to 2019 were identified and analyzed. The country producing the most articles in this field was USA followed by China, England, South Korea, and Germany. A network analysis based on the co-occurrence of keywords showed following three clusters: clinical studies, pain management studies, and methodology studies. Conclusions : This study provided a macroscopic overview of research in acupuncture clinical trials. These findings provide an expansive strategy for researchers in this field to cooperate with other researchers or organizations.
