This study tried to analyze the effects of culture and arts activities as educational method in the classroom. Compared with other activities, the culture and arts activity enables learners to have unique aesthetic experience differentiated from scientific and logical experience. This study analyzed the effects largely into three aspects (intellectual, emotional, and practical aspects) in case learners have such aesthetic experience in the field of education. Through this, the study will become an opportunity to propose practical data concerning the educational effects of the culture and arts activity, and further to confirm the possibility and necessity of utilizing such activity as an education method.

기존의 필기된 한글의 자소 분리 방법은 일반적으로 다음과 같은 단점을 가진다 : 1) 자소 분리가 주로 세선화된 이미지에 적용되어 세선화 결과에 크게 의존하며, 2) 자소가 접촉되었을 때 명확한 자소 분리 특징점이 발생하는 단순한 접촉만을 대상으로 자소 분리 방법이 개발되어, 특징점이 없거나 특징점이 틀리게 찾아지는 경우처럼 복잡한 접촉에서는 자소 분리 오류가 쉽게 발생한다는 것이다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 단점을 보완하고자 세선화를 하지 않은 이미지에서 자소 분리를 수행하며, 자소가 접촉된 경우 명확한 분리 특징점이 발생하는 경우뿐만 아니라, 특징점이 없거나 특징점이 틀리게 찾아지는 경우에도 자소 분리를 원활하게 수행할 수 있는 방법을 제안한다. 본 논문에서는 자소의 접촉을 유형별로 나누고 각 유형에 대하여 모음의 구조와 상대적인 위치 정보, 접촉의 형태 및 경험적인 규칙들을 사용하여 자소를 분리한다. 제안된 자소 분리 방법은 다음과 같은 순서로 적용된다 : 1) 입력된 낱자 이미지에서 모음을 추적한다 ; 2) 모음의 관점에서 접촉 후 발생하는 특징점의 추출이 명확한가를 판단한다 ; 3) 각 경우에 대한 접촉 유형을 확인한다 ; 4) 접촉 유형에 따른 자소 분리 방법을 적용한다. 필기된 한글 데이터베이스 PE92를 사용한 분리 실험에서 89.5%의 높은 분리율을 얻어서 제안된 방법의 유효성을 확인할 수 있었다.

The study is conducted to investigate the prevalence of a yips phenomenon in high school baseball players and provide the basis of its origin and an effective treatment intervention. Therefore, we survey 320 high school baseball players registered at Korea Baseball Association, excluding poorly answered 30 questionnaires. Utilizing PASW 20.0, the analysis of yips experiences and a coping method is carried out with descriptive statistics and ratio analysis. The results from the process above are as follows. The ratio of high school baseball players who experience yips reaches 64%, which is significantly high; experiencing yips, they have both physical and psychological problems; although they would have psychological trainings, few of them work, which implies that the discussion on yips prevention and coping methods for high school baseball players is imperative.

This research purports to reconstruct how the respective historical experiences on the Japanese colonial rule and Korean War have influenced the lifes of the Korean elderly in later years from the biographical context. Nine interviews were conducted using Sch$\ddot{u}$tze's 'autobiographical-narrative interview.' Interview data collected were analyzed following Rosenthal's 'analysis of narrative-biographical interview.' How individual historical experiences have impacted the elderly's lifes mostly indicated a difference in the way they experienced such historical events. While their pro-Japanese activities and direct, historical experiences during the Japanese colonial rule and their direct, historical experiences as veterans of the Korean War have influenced their life as individualized, their indirect, historical experiences on the Japanese colonial rule and Korean War have manifested themselves as a potential life severed from the historical past at the same time. Based on the understanding of how the elderly's individual, historical experiences have exerted an influence on their life, finally, some suggestions were addressed as regards welfare practices for the elderly.

In accelerated life tests, the failure time of an item is observed under a high stress level, and based on the time the performances of items are investigated at the normal stress level. In this paper, when the mean of the prior of a failure rate is known in the exponential lifetime distribution with censored accelerated failure time data, we utilize the empirical Bayesian method by using the moment estimators in order to estimate the parameters of the prior distribution and obtain the empirical Bayesian predictive density and predictive intervals for a future observation under the normal stress level.

최근 기후변화로 인한 기상이변이 빈번히 발생하면서 그로 인한 피해도 점점 증가하고 있다. 이를 최소화하기 위해서는 기후변화가 강수에 미치는 영향에 대한 연구가 필요하며, 특히 강수의 기후변화를 고려한 장기적인 변동에 대한 예측이 매우 중요하다. 그 중, 기후변화로 인한 강수현상의 변화를 분석하기 위한 방법 중 하나로 강수 현상이 주변 기후 요소의 분포에 영향을 받는다는 가정 하에 기상인자를 통하여 강수를 예측하는 방법이 있다. 우리나라에 영향을 미치는 주변 기상인자들과 강수 간의 상관관계를 분석하여 상관관계가 높게 나타나는 기상인자를 통해 우리나라 강수량을 예측하면 장기적인 관점에서 강수 예측의 정확도를 높일 수 있다. 하지만 상관관계 분석에 있어서 강수 원 자료 와 기상인자간의 상관관계를 비교할 경우 원 자료가 가지는 큰 변동성으로 인해 정확한 상관관계 분석이 이루어지지 않을 가능성이 크다. 따라서 강수자료를 분해하여 분해된 요소별로 상관관계를 분석하여 분석의 정확도를 높일 필요가 있다. 다양한 자료 분해 방법중 경험적 모드분해법(Empirical Mode Decomposition, EMD)을 사용할 경우 자료의 분해에 있어서 주기성, 경향성에 따라 분해가 가능하며, 비정상성을 가지고 있는 시계열에 대해 효과적으로 분해가 가능한 장점이 있다. 본 연구에서는 30년 이상의 자료기간을 가지는 지점의 강수량 자료를 바탕으로 경험적 모드분해법을 이용하여 강수자료를 분해하고, 이를 다양한 기상인자와의 상관관계를 분석함으로써, 우리나라 강수량 변동과 연관이 있는 기상인자들을 선별하였다. 선별된 기상인지를 바탕으로 다중회귀분석을 수행하여 기상인자를 독립변수로 하는 강수 예측식을 구축하여 우리나라 강수의 예측 가능성을 살펴보고자 한다.

본 논문에서는 한국어 형태소 분석기가 처리할 수 없는 어휘적 중의성 해결을 위한 방법으로 부분 문장 분석 기법을 연구한다. 부분 문장 분석 기법의 신뢰도를 높이기 위해서 말뭉치를 이용한 데이터를 통해 학습한 경험적 규칙을 이용한다. 학습한 경험적 규칙을 오류 유형에 따라 확장하고 전문화하여 축적된 연구결과를 지식 베이스로 삼아 한국어 맞춤법 및 문법 검사기에서 사용하는 부분 문장 분석기의 성능을 향상시킨다. 본 논문에서 사용한 확장하고 전문화한 지식 베이스는 말뭉치에서 얻은 경험적 규칙을 기반으로 한다. 이 경험적 규칙은 언어적 지식을 기반으로 한다.

최근 시스템 환경의 급격한 변화에 따라 기존 시스템의 유지보수와 재사용에 관련된 여러 가지 문제점이 발견되었다. 객체지향개념은 우리에게 재사용과 유지보수를 용이하게 해 줄 것으로 생각되었지만 기대만큼의 효과는 거두지 못하고 있다. 이러한 현실적인 문제를 해결하기 위해 많은 클래스들을 관련성을 이용해 패키지로 분류하는 클러스터링 기법들이 연구되었다. 대부분이 소프트웨어의 품질을 평가하기 위한 매트릭스를 기반으로 한 것이었지만, 실제 현장에서 개발자들의 경험에 의한 클러스터링 기법과는 많은 차이가 발생한다. 본 논문에서는 메트릭스를 이용한 Composition 방법과 개발자들의 경험을 이용한 Partition 방법을 혼합하여 정량화된 수치를 제공하며 개발자들의 경험을 충족시키는 방법을 제시하고자 한다.

In accelerated life tests, the failure time of an item is observed under a high stress level and based on the time, the failure rates of items we estimated at the normal stress level. In this paper, when the mean of the prior distribution of a parameter is known in Weibull lifetime model with censored failure time data, we study various estimating methods to obtain the empirical Bayes estimator of a parameter from the empirical Bayes approach under the normal stress level by considering the fact that the Bayes estimator is the function of prior parameters and of the acceleration parameter representing the effect of acceleration. And we compare the performance of several empirical Bayes estimators of a parameter in terms of the Bayes risk.

This paper reports the application study of the bedding reinforcement under a buried pipeline subjected to differential settlement. Three different field conditions have been considered and evaluated via a finite element modeling. The deformation of a buried pepeline has been evaluated for each boundary condition together with the settlement restraining effects of the bedding reinforcement. A guideline of the bedding reinforcement design has been proposed so as to put it to practical use for general field applications. The design guideline incorporates the procedure and method for the selection of typical sections suggested by conventional empirical approach and for the determination of bedding thickness based on the numberical analysis results performed in this research.
