  • In this paper, we proposed an enhanced Max-Min neural network by auto-tuning of learning rate using fuzzy control method. For the reduction of training time required in the competition stage, the method was proposed that arbitrates dynamically the learning rate by applying the numbers of the accuracy and the inaccuracy to the input of the fuzzy control system. The experiments using real concrete crack images showed that the enhanced Max-Min neural network was effective in the recognition of direction of the extracted cracks.

  • Nowadays, we can easily find student who study through computer in e-teaming environment. But, although e-teaming system has strong point that overcomes limitation of distance and time, many students give up their study through on-line learning. In this study, we developed On-Line learning motivation model, and designed and developed on-line quiz game loaming system. Thus we can find student's teaming motivation was grow up through student's interaction. Also, we find on-line quif game learning system had many information that explain student's status about their knowledge.

  • It is to design diverse teaching methods to construct competitive knowledge-based society and to design teaching methods suitable to Korean conditions. The study reviewed Ausubel's meaningful learning especially subsumption theory as a plan to make students understand math and receive it meaningfully through explanatory class. Analyzing meaning and conditions of Ausubel's meaningful learning can make utility of significant explanatory learning in education of mathematics easier.

  • The purpose of this research is to increase mathematical problem solving abilities VIa STAD evaluation after completing classes. to which ST AD group study is applied, and promoting the learning accomplishments of students by developing gradual self-leading learning materials about the research project on ' How to use an hour math class efficiently\ulcorner ' For this purpose, the items below were studied. Firstly, gradual self-leading learning materials were developed and applied which were composed of textbook abstracts, basic problems, developing problems and intensive problems rather than existing textbooks. Secondly, the ST AD group study model was selected and applied which invokes competitions among small groups of which learning goals were clear. individual responsibility was important. and successive opportunities were equal. The evaluation using STAD at each end of a chapter was announced instantly using the EXCEL scoring system. Though the results of experimental classes were limited in their size. experimental time, and class selection, there were meaningful changes in the aspect of being able to heighten the accomplishment desire of students by inducing voluntary competitions among small groups without any student omitted. As the result of applying this research to my class, the ST AD group study using gradual self-leading learning materials invoked the interests of students and increased learning accomplishments via increasing problem solving abilities in mathematics. The ST AD group study was easy to use by beginning teachers, and its process was simple. It increased interactions among students and learning motives because its compensation system was open to all students. Among various studying methods for small groups. STAD group study is expected to be widely used for mathematics classes.

  • Since the global financial crisis in 2008, countries around the world have emphasized the activation of entrepreneurship and entrepreneurship as essential strategies for survival. In the case of developed countries, the United States, the European Union and China actively promote entrepreneurship and entrepreneurship. In Korea, on the other hand, the importance of entrepreneurship is emphasized by stagnating growth of companies and strengthening their competitiveness through convergence within companies or companies. The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship between entrepreneurship and learning orientation in order to enhance competitiveness of Korean companies and to be the basis of management strategy for growth of convergence companies based on this. For the progress of this study, the convergence companies were targeted and the hypothesis was verified through the questionnaire survey through the statistical program. The results of the study showed that Innovation influenced learning orientation. Second, Initiative was found to affect learning orientation. Finally, it is shown that risk sensitivity does not affect learning orientation.

  • The aim of this study is to measure and evaluate competitiveness of lifelong learning systems of BRICS countries in the respect of National Lifelong Learning System (NLLS). To analyze the data, this study used the mechanism model and 32 indicators and 12 sub-factors developed to measure the NLLS of developing countries. As a result of the Global Lifelong Learning Index (GLLI) measurement, China and Russia were relatively strong, while Brazil and South Africa formed the middle group. India scored relatively low. However, there are areas of lifelong education that each country should focus on, and this study compared and analyzed the strengths and weaknesses of the lifelong learning systems of each BRICS country. It is expected that the findings of this study will be used as standards to evaluate lifelong learning-related policies and make decisions to raise NLLS competitiveness, and as basic materials to know current NLLS situations of BRICS countries.

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between thinking style and learning style of gifted children in elementary school. The subjects were 178 fourth, fifth and sixth grade elementary school students who enrolled in gifted education program. They were given the Thinking Style Questionnaire and the Grasha Reichmann Student Learning Style Questionnaire. Descriptive statistics, correlation analysis and canonical correlation analysis were performed. Results indicated that gifted students prefer legislative, judical, liberal, local, hierarchic, external thinking styles known to be related to creative and critical thinking rather than executive and conventional styles. Meanwhile, in the aspect of learning style, independent learning style than the dependent learning style, competitive style than the collaborative style, and participatory style than the avoiding style were significantly scored higher. The canonical analysis showed that thinking styles and learning styles share 59%(Rc=.77) each other, indicating the two variables had significant close relationship. External, liberal, hierarchic, judical, executive, and liberal thinking styles in the order named showed higher cross loading in the independent variable set, likewise independent, participatory, collaborative, and competitive learning styles in the dependant variable set. The results indicate that the external, liberal, hierarchic, judical, executive, and liberal thinking styles can be the significant predictors of independent, participatory, collaborative, and competitive learning styles. The implications of the study related to the gifted education were discussed in depth.
