Transgastric endoscopic cholecystectomy was successfully accomplished in a 1-year-old, 15 kg, female, mongrel dog. Single-working channel flexible gastric endoscope was used with the aid of one abdominal laparoscopic port. Gastrotomy was performed using endoscopic needle knife at the ventral antral region. Through the gastric incision endoscope was advanced and retroflexed for the visualization of gallbladder. For the better exposure of surgical field, gentle traction was applied at the fundus of the gallbladder using laparoscopic grasping forceps. Cystic duct and artery was ligated using endoclips. After transecting the duct and artery, gallbladder was dissected using endoscopic coagulating grasping forceps and needle knife. Resected gallbladder was retrieved through the mouth and gastric incision site was sutured using endoclips. There was no evidence of bile leakage or stomach leakage on postoperative day (POD) 3. On POD 16, gastric endoscopy and laparoscopy was performed. Gastric endoscopy revealed complete adhesion of incision site. The content of the peritoneum appeared healthy, with no sign of infection, bile staining, or organ injury. The omentum was adhered over resected gallbladder fossa and the serosal surface of gastrotomy site. This is the first report of NOTES cholecystectomy in the dog and provides new concept of cholecystectomy of the dog.

1977년 2월 1일 당연구소는 시내수표동에 있는 전기회관에서 상공부장관과 내빈다수를 모시고 현판식을 가졌다. 그동안 중전기시험소설립추진위원회는 1년간 계획과 검토를 거쳐 전기업계의 숙원이던 본 연구소가 대통령각하를 설립자로 모시고 관민공동출원으로 재단법인으로 설립등기를 마치고 업무를 개시하여 1980년 정상가동을 목표로 업무를 착수하였다. 본고에서는 설립경위와, 사업계획에 관해 알아보고자 한다.

Natural orifice transluminal endoscopic surgery is a newly emerging technique recently, with its many potential advantages in clinical practice. Cholecystectomy by Hybrid NOTES in this work, performed with single working channel endoscope in conjunction with a laparoscopic grasping forceps in dogs, is a "bridge" between laparoscopic procedure and pure NOTES. Three different approaches for cholecystectomy were carried out; transgastric, transcolonic and transvaginal. In all three approaches, abdominal opening was made by a 5 mm trocar, followed by making pneumoperitoneum of 4 mmHg with $CO_2$ insufflator. Transgastric cholecystectomy, single working channel endoscope was advanced to the peritoneal cavity through gastric incision in antral region made by endoscopic needle knife. Endoscope was retroflexed to visualize the gall bladder. Transcolonic access, incision for endoscopic entry was done at right ventral wall of descending colon, 15 cm inside from the anus. Incision in transvaginal access was made at right-ventral region, just caudal to the caudal tubercle. With the simple traction by the laparoscopic grasping forceps, good visualization of surgical field was obtained in all three groups. Cystic duct and artery were ligated with endoclips; for complete gall bladder dissection from liver, L-knife was used. Closure of incision sites were done in transgastric and transcolonic cholecystectomy by endoclips, not in transvaginal approach.

우리나라 천체관측연구에 새로운 터전이 될 국립천문대 소백산천제측소 준공식이 9월 29일 충북 단양군 대강면 천동리 소백산 제2 연화봉 현장에서 관계인사 180여명이 참석한 가운데 거행되었다. 소백산 천체관측소 심경진 소장의 건설경위보고로 시작된 이날 준공식은 민경기 국립천문 대장의 식사와 최형섭 과학기술처 장관의 축사(박상혁과기처과학기술심의실장 대독), 유공자표창순으로 진행되었다. 이어서 첨성관 개관테이프 절단식이 있은후 참가자들은 우주의 신비를 풀 관측기기등 관측시설을 둘러 보았다.

과학기술처가 마련한 기능대학 법안 전문30조와 설립계획안이 6월2일 경제장관회의에서 의결되었다. 고급기능 관리자인 기능장의 의성을 위해 세워질 기능대학과 대학부설 기능대학은 수업년한 2년이며 기능대학은 창원기계공단등 정부가 지정하는 곳에 설치되며 대학부설 기능대학은 국공립 대학이나 사립대학에 설치할 수 있다. 과기처는 우선 창원기계공업 기지내에 기능대학 1개를 설립하기로 하고 서독차관140만달러 포함 내외자 36억원을 들여 시범교를 운영하기 위해 추경예산에 부지조성비로서 4억8천만원을 요청 연말까지는 정식발족시키기로 하였다. 과기처는 건물과 시설을 79년까지 갖추고 기계, 금속, 전기전자등 주로 중화학공업분야 과목 신입생을 모집 이수자에게는 기능자아 자격을 수여하게 된다. 다음은 기능대학 설립 추진 경위와 설치 계획 전모이다.

The Korean laparoscopic Gastrointestinal Surgery Study Group made a survey of laparoscopic gastric surgeries which were performed in Korea during 2004. Thirty-eight surgeons from 36 Institutions responded to the questionnaires. One thousand eighty-nine laparoscopic gastric operations were performed during 2004. The cumulative number from 1995 to 2004 was about 2,386. Seven hundred fifty-four operations for a gastric adenocarcinoma were performed during 2004 which is almost two times the number performed during 2003. Laparoscopic radical procedures, such as a laparoscopy-assisted distal gastrectomy or total gastrectomy (LADG and LATG) have increased rapidly since 2001 (55 cases in 2001, 150 cases in 2002, 364 cases in 2003 and 738 cases in 2004). Especially, laparoscopic total gastrectomies were explosively adopted last year (20 cases in 2003 and 112 cases in 2004). However, laparoscopic function-preserving gastrectomies, which included one laparoscopy-assisted pylorus-preserving gastrectomy and laparoscopy-assisted proximal gastrectomy, are rarely performed at this time. One hundred forty-two wedge resections for a gastric submucosal tumor were performed during 2004. Hand-assisted laparoscopic surgery (HALS) was performed in 39 cases in 2001, 55 in 2002, and 49 in 2003; however, only 5 such surgeries were performed during 2004. In 2003, laparoscopic bariatric surgery began, and during 2004, 49 operations were performed. In terms of indications of laparoscopic gastric surgery for adenocarcinoma, 19 surgeons performed a LADG only for a T1 lesion, and 7 surgeons extended their indications to T2N0 lesions. In the near future, laparoscopic procedures for gastric cancer will be widely adopted in Korea if the medical-insurance obstacle is overcome, and the long-term survival results are verified.

한전은 1968년 11월 3일 오전 10시 04분을 기하여 154KV 전계통의 직접접지방식 전환을 단행하였다. 종전의 P.C(소고선륜) 중성점접지방식을 직접접지방식으로 전환한것으로서 전력사상 특기 할 만한 근대화사업이며 다년간을 두고 추진해온 중요과제였다. 전력계통의 확대와 복잡화는 선진국가에서도 실시하고 있는 직접접지방식의 채택을 불가변하게 하였고 또한 1차 AID송배전차관도 이의 채택을 조건부로 승인되었던 것으로서 1968년 이후에 건설되는 송변전기기는 직접접지계에서만 운전할 수 있는 절연Level 650KV급이 도입되어 부산화력발전소 3호기가 준공되는 1968년 10월말까지는 직접접지전환이 반드시 이루어져야 하는 실정에 놓여 있었다. 그런데 직접접지방식의 단점인 인접통신선에 미치는 유도장해를 해결하는 문제가 다년간을 두고 진지하게 검토되어 왔으나 해결이 늦어지고 있었다. 사유는 154KV 계통에 인근된 통신선이라면 체신부, 내무부, 교통부, 국방부등 여러기관의 것이 있는데, 유도장해보안방법과 유도보상비문제에 대하여 전력측(상공부, 한전)과 통신측(상기의 체신부등)의 견해차가 해소되지 않기 때문이었다. 그것이 1968년 5월에 와서 전력.통신쌍방이 범국가적입장에서 제반애로를 무릅쓰고 최소한의 투자로 가능한 범위내의 보안책으로서 우선 Arrester 보안방식을 채택하기로 합의되어 경제장관회의를 거쳐 시공하기에 이른것이다. 이 란을 빌려 이 사업의 필요성과 경위및 통신선유도장해방지를 위한 보안방식내용을 간단히 소개함으로써 앞으로 이 분야의 항구적인 유도대책연구에 다소나마 참고가 된다면 다행으로 생각하겠다.면서 예측강우의 질이 저하되기 시작하였으나 QPM을 합성함으로써 생산한 BQPF는 보다 신뢰성있고 양호한 결과를 얻을 수 있었다. 이러한 결과들은 향후 정량적 분포형강우 예측을 이용한 실시간 홍수유출 예측시 댐운영자는 리드타임(홍수선행시간)을 충분히 확보함으로서 안정적이고 예측 가능한 홍수조절을 하는데 도움을 줄 수 있을 것으로 기대된다. 이와 같이 다양한 단기저수지 유입량의 예측정보 제공으로 다목적댐 저수지 운영모형의 효용성을 제고하여 향후 실제 저수지 유입량 예측에 이용함으로써 저수지 단기운영효율 개선에 기여할 수 있을 것으로 사료된다.다. 이것은 여름철 강수량이 증가하고, 호우발생빈도, 특히 8월의 강수일수가 증가하고 있다는 것과 밀접한 관련이 있다. 여름과 가을에 우리나라에 영향을 미치는 태풍의 수는 뚜렷한 추세를 보이지 않으나, 2002년 루사, 2003년 매미로 인하여 각각 6조원, 4조원 이상의 막대한 피해가 발생하였다. 태풍에 의한 피해액은 GDP 대비 약 0.9%(태풍 루사)로 최근 경제상장률과 비교해 보면, 상당한 비율을 차지한다. 우리나라에 영향을 미치는 태풍은 연근해의 해수면 온도가 높아지면 세기가 강해질 가능성이 높다. 폭설과 한파일수도 평년대비 최근 10년 감소하였고 일최저기온이 영하 $10^{\circ}C$ 이하인 날도 연간 발생일수가 감소하였다. 최근 10년간 우리나라 기후의 변화특성은 기온상승과 더불어 서리종료일이 앞당겨지고 열대야가 증가하고 폭설, 한파, 겨울철 일최저기온 영하 10도 이하인 날의 감소 등이 나타나고, 여름철 재해의 원인인 호우일수는 증가하는 추세이다.
