The proliferation of online reviews on dining experiences has significantly affected consumers' choices of restaurants, especially overseas. Food quality, service, ambiance, and price have been identified as specific attributes for the choice of a restaurant in prior studies. In addition to these four representative attributes, cultural factors, which may also significantly impact the choice of a restaurant for tourists, in particular, have not received much attention in previous studies. This study employs the text mining technique to analyze over 10,000 online reviews of 76 Korean restaurants posted by Chinese tourists on dianping.com to explore the influence of cultural factors on the consumer's choice of restaurants in the overseas travel context. The findings reveal that "Hallyu (Korean Wave)" influences Chinese tourists' dining experiences in Korea and their satisfaction. Moreover, Korean food-related words, such as cold noodle, bibimbap, rice cake, pig trotters, and kimchi stew, appeared across all the review topics. Our findings contribute to the existing tourism and hospitality literature by identifying the critical role of cultural factors on consumers', especially tourists', satisfaction with the choice of a restaurant using text mining. The findings also provide practical guidance to restaurant owners in Korea to attract more Chinese tourists.

In the Fourth Industrial Revolution era, global powers are enhancing R&D support to leverage innovations like AI, IoT, and big data for productivity gains and structural economic and social reforms. Yet, the declining R&D budget growth rate and the forecasted sharp cut in South Korea's R&D budget in 2024 highlight the critical need for national R&D performance management system discussions. Diverging from previous studies focused on quantitative analysis of performance determinants, this research utilizes fuzzy set qualitative comparative analysis(fsQCA) to explore the interplay of factors affecting research institutions' outcomes comprehensively. Analyzing data from 2018 to 2022, it examines three outcome types of research institutions, identifying factor combinations crucial for success. By pinpointing these factors' configurations, the study offers institution-specific performance enhancement guidelines and insights for national R&D policy management and performance evaluation efficiency.

In order to improve total competitive advantages in domestic shipbuilding industry, shipyards as well as marine-parts companies achieve managerial efficiency through ERP system. But, successful ERP system implementation cases of marine-parts companies are seldom reported by characteristics of small and build-to-order industry. Therefore, this study attempts to analyze a case for ERP system implementation in marin-parts company, K Inc. Especially, this study divides ERP system implementation process into preparation stage, implement stage and settle-down and stabilization stage, and then derives critical success factors in each stage. At present, the implemented ERP system is successfully operating, ERP system improve qualitative and quantitative performance. The result of study suggests some practical implications to the manager of marine-parts companies and the manager of Informatization Programs for Small and Medium Enterprises.

Main purpose of this study is to suggest improvement of environmental information disclosure system and to find out counterplan for hospitals based on literal review and 41 hospitals/clinic's environmental information data(2011) released by the Korean ENV-INFO SYSTEM. The research methodology used to analyze 18 items divided between 7 for compulsory and 11 for voluntary was primarily quantitative. Research subjects was comprised of 33 general hospitals, 6 hospitals and 1 clinic. Environmental information disclosure system needs to be improved as follows: (1) enlargement of citizen participation, (2) upgrade of 'Company Overview', (3) clear definition of items, (4) unifying measure unit, (5) close verification, (6) creating standards for additional informations. The following activities are critical for hospitals: (1) reliability enhancement of hospital's data, (2) reorganization strategy & green management system, (3) water/energy reduction data accumulation, (4) greenhouse gas emission reduction planning, (5) introduction of green purchase guidelines, (6) digital publication of environmental(sustainable) report.

The Internet is changing or even eliminating old organizational schemes, including education. A growing number of universities and graduate schools are creating curriculums to reflect these changes. Business schools have prepared their students for a corporate world to offer some E-commerce courses. While E-commerce courses are proliferating in computer and information science schools, they are also spreading to other university departments including law and advertising. The objective of this paper is to suggest a prototype E-commerce curriculum for E-commerce departments. First, we survey and compare the E-commerce curriculum offered in many universities. Second, we provide the new E-commerce curriculum model for Korean universities. E-courses are classified as three knowledge areas of E-commerce courses such as business, technology, and core. We prioritize E-courses selected and rank their importance through an exploratory study for suggesting the undergraduate or graduate curriculum.

Based on SPICE (Software Process Improvement and Capability dEtermination) evaluation model, SPIRE (Software Process Improvement in Regions of Europe) is developed and published as a process improvement model for small and medium size organizations. However, practical selection guidelines or mapping rules between business goals and software processes do not exist within SPIRE. This research aims to construct an objective reference mapping table between business goals and software processes, and to propose a process selection method using the mapping table. The mapping table is constructed by the convergence of domestic software process experts' opinions using Delphi techniques. In the suggested process selection method, target processes are selected using the intuition of project participants or project managers as well as the reference mapping table. The feasibility of the proposed selection method has been reviewed by applying to two small software companies. Using the reference mapping table, we could select key processes which were passed over by project managers.

This study investigates proper solution available for flexibly management pointing out reality a lack of understanding and interest for executing security management while importance of firm security management gets bigger. Accordingly, this study suggests 4 exogenous variables such as organizational commitment, experience of security risks, perceived benefits, partner interdependence as factors of having influence upon development and implementation in security management. It suggests IT volatility as moderating variable, which will intensify between development and implementation. The research model was tested by using Structural Equation Modeling, via Amos 19.0 analysis on a sample collected from 209 firms. As a result, the remaining variables except partner interdependence showed statistically positive influence. The implications of the findings suggest a new theoretical framework of the security management and offers important solutions for the practical application guidelines.

This study was conducted to investigate the degree of nurses' knowledge, attitudes, and compliance with hospital infection standard precautions. The study subjects were nurses in a university hospital in Daegu, South Korea, and a self-administered survey was carried out using a standardized questionnaire from 1st to 15th August, 2012. A total of 187 questionnaires were used for analysis. Those who were injured by a syringe needle for the last year accounted for 29.96%, and those exposed to patients' blood or body fluid on their damaged skin/mucous membranes accounted for 26.2%. There were statistically significant differences in attitude and compliance according to safety environment for hospital infection standard precautions. The knowledge score of the subjects about standard precautions was $15.30{\pm}1.51$ on a 19 point scale and had significant difference according to the subjects' education level. The attitude score was $2.86{\pm}0.49$ on a 4 point scale and had significant difference depending on how experienced they were on the career. The compliance score was $3.41{\pm}0.38$ on a 4 point scale and had significant difference depending on their age and their experience on the career. In conclusion, it can be said that systematic and continuous practical training is required to improve compliance with standard precautions. Particularly, it is needed to provide less experienced nurses with educational opportunities along with their supervisors' ongoing attention and position personnel appropriately.
