A Study on the Attitude of CEO in Private Security Company (시큐리티기업 CEO의 민간경비에 대한 의식조사 연구)

  • This study is concerned on how much effect to activate private security officers from the attitude of CEO in private security companies. Of course the philosophy of CEO at the work is much important element on the company activity. And in small-medium size private security company the effect of CEO is tremendous because most of decision making comes from CEO and company is operated. The result of the analysis of the survey on the CEO in private security business is as belows. a) Most of them are not satisfied and negative from current situation of private security industry because too many companies are scattered and the expected social understanding is too low even though the company was established by their own decision due to it was fit to their aptitude. b) The job position is estimated not high by socio-economical perspective, which would be improved to get higher because this industry is very future business. c) Most of members of the korea security association are in negative on the policy of the korea security association but to enhance of the activity all the members should be in union. d) Must make and settle down a channel to communicate and cooperate each other between public and private sector of security business.

  • In modern society, increasingly easier access to Internet makes people want higher and more advanced services. This trend, of course, appears in the field of Security System. This study which has been performed to prove the way service quality of Security System has an influence on customer satisfaction brought the following results. First, customer satisfaction depends on social demographic characteristics. In other words, each customer satisfaction to service quality makes a difference the way he/she gains information on available facility. Usually customers showed higher satisfaction when they accepted the information from other people. Second, customer satisfaction depends on service quality itself. The effort for improvement of work efficiency or service quality in both facility itself and surroundings can make more people use and recommend the Security System without cease.

  • As we took a look at above, this researcher suggest following device to extend Korea's private security industry's area. First, it is necessary to extend private investigation law's area grafting private security together. Second, it is necessary it is necessary to think of private security's role related key figure law, corresponding terror law, Presidential Security Service Guard law. Third, as a draft of a proposed law related prevention flowing out of industry techniques among industry security related law, passed, it is necessary private security's diversity, subdivision, composition through an enterprise security, and private security industry area's grafting together. Fourth, a research about private security company's investment and professional area's bringing up as well as business's extension device should be groped for the security consulting though total system management service. Fifth, there are no big difference education course and purpose, duty about a security police man law and security law's unification, so it is necessary to drive forward actively unification through government organization's cooperation. Sixth, a paradigm shift should be occured about private security service among policeman, citizen, and private security guards. Seventh, it is considered the role of security association is important. Lastly about a matter communication between the National Police Agency, and Security Association, not only look at from an authority's angle, collecting information, corresponding ability but now it is considered to grope each other cooperation device together among organizations not only the National Police Agency but also, National Organization, National Intelligence Service, the prosecution, Presidential Security Service Guard, Army etc.

Effects of Mentoring Function on Career Development and Organizational Effectiveness in Private Security Service Organization (경호경비조직의 멘토링기능이 경력개발 및 조직유효성에 미치는 영향)

  • The Purpose of this study was to examine effects of mentoring function on career development and organizational effectiveness in private security service organization. Example number used on interpretation finally using purposive sampling method after this study establishes 5 places private security service company's security guard by population in Seoul on March, 2010 is total 227 people. Reliability of questionnaire appeared Cronbach's ${\alpha}$ value more than .667. Conclusions that appears in this study is as following. First, private security service organization's Mentoring function affects in career development. That is, if friendship, patronage, career management, society mind, and role model are mobilized, innovative own development, special capacity development, and information competitive power development are helped. Second, private security service organization's Mentoring function affects in organization effectiveness. If friendship, patronage, career management, society mind, and role model are mobilized, career satisfaction, organization immersion, and job satisfaction increase. On the other hand, change of jobs intention decreases if function of society mind is mobilized. Third, private security service organization's career development affects in organization effectiveness. If reform and special capacity development are helped, career satisfaction, organization immersion, and job satisfaction increase. While change of jobs intention decreases as development of information competition is helped. Fourth, Mentoring function exerts influence of causality on career development and organization effectiveness. That is, Mentoring exerts direct influence on organization effectiveness, but it exerts indirect effect through career development.

A Study on the Motive and Evaluation of the Job for a Special Private Security Tasks (특수경비원의 직업선택동기와 직업평가에 관한 연구)

  • This study is focused on the relation in the motive and the evaluation for the job in a special private security field. The supplement of the outstanding human resources is one of most important matter to improve the private security industry. For it the applicant's motive and evaluation of whose quality should be screened to recruit proper and oustanding human resources into the industry. For the study the follow elements would be considered. First, What is the real motive to apply the job and how prospect on the job the applicant will be taken. Second, what is different point of view to the job between male and female. Third, what relationship is in achieving the job performance between the temporary motive and the planed motive. Forth, what effects are on the job satisfaction and the planed motive for the job. With the above elements the survey was taken based on each sex for the study and the results are out as below. a) Male is in higher than female in taking with unplaned job motive and for job satisfaction is much higher in 1-20 age range. b) In general, the expectation on the job is much higher than the current job status, the male are in the expextation on the job and the female are in the the current job status. c) The job satisfaction is on positive effect to the planed taken job but the unplaned taken job is on negative. From the Research the most concerning element on the recruiting new employee is applicant's positive attitude on the job he/she will be taken.

A Study on development of personal protection service (신변보호업무 발전방안에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to find the development of the personal protection business plan based on the problem that guards are now aware of personal protection service. In order to achieve the objectives of this study, we analyzed the data after expert survey and interview conducted by seven experts engaged in personal protection services more than 15 years. The guard who perform personal protection service proposed a development plan of personal protection services as follows. First, the current education system for new employees' training is required to improve the educational program of 40 hours in subjects related to personal protection duties by reorganization Second, the personal protection service training for guards also appropriate to switch to 8-hour training program for three months through an educational organization controlled by country. Third, the personal protection guards should be proceeding the practical programs required in the field and quality education in the different section by competent and professional instructors. Fourth, it should be revised Regulating that on the site of collective civil petition including in Events related to events across the board in the security services law. Fifth, there needs to be a change of recognition between police and private security firms, and to be set up the organization for supervision of management by police and private security firms jointly. Sixth, there needs to be organized a subcommittee which is consisting of experts in each task on Korea Security Association, and founded Korea Personal Protection Association for development associated with the personal protection service and to protect the rights of personal protection guards.

  • The purpose of this study is to make people acknowledge the danger of the air terror and provide measures to prevent a recurrence of the accident and find required security. Also, the air terror is categorized into aircraft and airport and take steps to come up with preventive measures against the air terror by finding a countermeasure and precaution. The following steps should be checked to take precautionary measures against the air terror. major security crackdown and the need for a further security check should be conducted to prevent terrorists from boarding the aircraft, security around the airport needs to be tightened up by training the airport workers and promoting emergency situations, airport sheriffs and armed guards should be on patrol for the safety of the cabin, new measures of efficient security for in and around the airport and its facilities should be set up to tighten up security of baggage.

  • In Japan, the Security Equipment Association takes the initiative in standardization, the preparation of installation standards and the management of the qualification system. This association is joined by electronic security companies, manufacturers and installers and makes research in security equipment, security alarm system and information security system. But, the Korea Security Association takes the initiative in the security industry in accordance with the security business act, but few electronic security companies that are the hub of the security market have joined the association yet. Currently, there is no organization in which electronic security companies, security equipment manufacturers and installers can participate together, and it's not possible for all the parties concerned to make a concerted effort for the development of security equipment under the circumstances.

  • In this research, The Police Order No. 2013-1, which is 'Electronic Security 112 Report Standards,' was analyzed and the relevant policy tasks were presented. The policy tasks to achieve the purpose of the selective report system are as follows. First, in order to construct the statistics base, the establishment of the terms related to false alarm and false call, emergency button, and sensing signal and the development of the appropriate term to replace the electronic security guard are needed. Second, the electronic security companies should build the response system to abide by the 112 report standards of the police order. Third, the police should reexamine the establishment of the emergency report objects of the selective report system. Fourth, the reinforcement of the administrative regulation and supervision to enforce the police order strictly is required.

  • In this study, the special guard duties and duties within the Organization of communication influence on immersed in the interpersonal skills to discover the effects of the parameters of the educational facilities in the airport traffic facilities, and anything that increases the special guards, September 20-target 2015 2015 October 20 poll. The study compared the results of analysis are as follows. Analyze the effect of model parameter, interpersonal skills are also satisfied with the saturated model, duties (duty immersion) interpersonal skills for the parameters of the effect analysis when you look at the results, the higher the level of communication and interpersonal relationships and job satisfaction, but also high level of (job immersive) interpersonal communication in interpersonal relationships, higher levels are high. SMC, job satisfaction, job commitment 23.9% 7.2%, 19.3% of interpersonal relationships. In addition, the duties of immersive interpersonal skills for the parameters of the effect the results of the analysis of communication and its impact on job satisfaction (duty of immersion) in interpersonal work parameters can verify that it exists. Communication on direct interpersonal relationships, keep in mind that the statistical effect also appeared. If you look at the overall results of this study, special communication organization of job satisfaction and security guard job influence on interpersonal skills immersed the parameters of the effect.
