가상메모리 시스템에서 페이지 부재(page fault)를 최소화하기 위해서는 미래에 사용될 페이지를 미리 예측하는 것이 중요하다. 미래에 사용될 페이지는 이미 입력된 페이지들의 패턴 분석을 통해 예측 가능하며 이를 통해 시스템 성능을 최대화 할 수 있는 페이지 교체 정책(page replacement policy)에 대한 연구가 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 동일한 교체 우선권을 가지는 페이지들 간의 예측 적중률을 높이기 위하여 기존의 NUR(not used recently) 정책에 참조횟수 비트를 추가하여 우선 순위를 판단하는 방법을 제안한다. 제안하는 정책은 C 언어를 기반으로 모델링 되었으며 시뮬레이션 결과 페이지 프레임의 크기와 무관하게 기존의 정책들에 비해 성능이 향상됨을 확인하였다.

최근 유비쿼터스 게임의 성장과 더불어 이기종의 환경에서 새로운 기법들로 보여질 수 있는 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 이기종 환경에서 임의의 OpenGL 기반의 PC 게임이나 게임 뷰어가 있는데서 Java3D 형태로 재복원해서 볼 수 있는 방법과 VRML을 사용하여 캡쳐된 장면들을 네비게이션 해 봄으로써 프레임간 오브젝트들의 움직임을 비교 분석할 수 있는 방법을 제안한다. 결과적으로 구조적인 장면 그래프에서 사건을 처리하고, Parser에서 OpenGL Primitive들의 정점 정보를 해석해서 계층구조를 변화시킴으로서 보다 빠른 실시간 렌더링을 구현하고자 한다.

코딩교육의 의무화로 인해 조기 교육을 위한 코딩교육 프로그램이 성행한다. 하지만 이는 시각 중심적이라 실제 프로그래밍 언어를 접할 때 어려움이 많다. 이를 최소화하기 위해 만든 Python 블록 코딩 웹은 JavaScript, Arduino, Python, Web을 이용하여 시각중심의 블록을 드래그하여 실제 쓰이는 프로그래밍 언어로 바꿔주는 시스템을 개발하였다.

본 논문에서는 인덕터와 커패시터(LC)를 이용한 새로운 전압 밸런서(VB)를 제안한다. 제안한 VB는 하프-브리지 및 Neutral-Point-Clamped 구조처럼 이중 출력을 가진 Dual-Active-Bridge (DAB) 컨버터에 적용될 수 있다. 제안한 VB는 추가적인 스위칭 소자를 사용하지 않더라도 출력 부하 조건에 관계없이 출력 전압 평형을 유지할 수 있다. 제안한 VB를 사용할 때, 변압기와 출력의 중성점 사이에 LC가 추가되지만, 컨버터의 PWM 방식과 동작은 기존과 대부분 동일하다. 따라서, 제안한 VB를 사용하는 이중 출력 DAB 컨버터는 기존 이중 출력 DAB 컨버터의 장점을 대부분 유지한 상태로 출력 전압 평형을 달성할 수 있다. 3 kW 시제품을 제작하여 제안한 VB의 성능을 검증하였다.

Delayed anoxic encephalopathy after carbon monoxide (CO) poisoning is characterized by neurological deterioration that occurs after recovery from acute CO intoxication. There has been no established therapy. We report a patient recovered from acute CO intoxication developed various neurological symptoms. After the administration of high dose prednisolone and anticholinesterase inhibitor, the therapeutic effect was remarkable and confirmed by quantitative analysis of diffusion-tensor imaging (DTI). DTI could be used to evaluate the therapeutic effect for delayed anoxic encephalopathy after CO poisoning.

Carotid free-floating thrombus (FFT) is a rare cause of stroke. The FFT is commonly associated with an atherosclerotic plaque rupture, but other causes need to be examined in young patients. We report a case of 31-year-old male patient with recurrent ischemic stroke caused by carotid FFT. Although initial laboratory test was unremarkable, recurrent stroke events led us to perform additional study and antiphospholipid syndrome (APLS) was diagnosed. Repetitive testing for APLS seems considerable when young patients present with recurrent stroke.

Objectives : This study aimed to investigate factors affecting multicultural acceptability of adolescents at individual and environmental levels. Methods : Participants were 2,032 first-year high school students who participated in the 4th-year Korean Children and Youth Panel Survey in 2013. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson's correlation, and multilevel analysis. Results : Individual factors affecting multicultural acceptability of adolescents were health status, ego-resilience, and experience of visiting foreign countries. Learning activity, school regulation, relationship with teachers, and community spirit were significant factors at environmental level. Conclusions : Findings suggest that it is necessary to consider health status, improve positive resilience, activate a multicultural experience program, establish friendly relations with teachers, adhere to social norms, and strengthen community spirit for multicultural acceptability.

본 논문에서는 2차원 X-ray 영상을 이용하여 3차원 영상을 얻기 위한 전처리 과정으로 2차원 X-ray 영상에서 원하는 뼈 영상을 분할하기 위한 능동적 대퇴골 분할 기법에 대해 제안하고 구현하였다. X-ray 영상의 주된 화질 저하 요인인 잡음을 제거하고 에지 및 밝기 검출을 통하여 정확하고 빠른 뼈 영상 분할 기법을 구현하였고 대퇴골 영상을 통해 검증하였다. 이를 통해 최소한의 2차원 X-ray 영상을 이용하여 3차원 뼈 모델링을 구현하는데 필요한 뼈 영상을 획득하였다.

바이트 단위로 접근이 가능하고, 비휘발성을 가지는 SCM(Storage Class Memory)을 이용하여 프로세스의 작업공간으로 활용함과 동시에 파일을 저장하는 형태의 운영체제 기법에 대한 연구가 활발하게 이루어지고 있다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 형태에서 파일이 저장되는 방법을 토대로 프로세스 생성 시 실행 파일의 읽기 전용의 특성을 가지는 실행 코드를 프로세스 공간에 직접 매핑하는 기법에 대하여 제안한다.

A simple memristor model is proposed for the neuromorphic system in the Simulation Program for Integrated Circuits Emphasis (SPICE). The memristive I-V characteristics with different voltage and frequencies were analyzed. And with the model, we configured a learning and inference system with 4 by 4 memristor array to show the practical use of the model. We examined the applicability by configuring the simplest neuromorphic circuit. The total simulation time for the proposed model was 18% lesser than that for the one-memristor model. When compared with more memristor models in a circuit, the time became even shorter.
