A Generalized Advanced Region Correlation (G-ARC) Scheme for BOC(pn,n) Modulated Code Tracking in GNSS (BOC(pn,n) 변조된 확산신호의 부호동기추적을 위한 일반화된 이른영역상관기법)

  • This paper proposes a novel code tracking scheme to track the fine code synchronization for BOC(pn,n) modulated spreading signals. The correlation function of BOC(pn,n) modulated spreading signals has been several peaks. In this paper, we observe that the correlation function in the advanced offset region remains almost unchanged, due to the multipath signals being received later than a line-of-sight signal. Based on this observation, we propose a novel code tracking scheme which is called the advanced region correlation (ARC) method for BOC(n,n) modulated spreading signals. And, we compare with the code tracking accuracy between the conventional and proposed methods in the static multipath and land mobile satellite system channels through the Monte-Carlo simulation. Then, base on the proposed scheme, we propose the generalized-ARC (ARC) scheme for BOC(pn, n) modulated spreading signals.

  • Recently, Humanity enter the super-connection generation that linking human and things as a result of the development ICT technologies. IoT technology is growing rapidly as a result of IoT technology appearance and development of smart device, technology expansion, the spread of smart sensors, spread diffusion of smart devices, construction of a variety of network. These techniques are applied to those having a mobility is growing importance of network technology. Real-time service and features, such as the accuracy of the data it became important. In order to implement the IoT will need to take into account IP, security, a lot of things such as a service model, but in this paper, want to discuss mobility, for the tracking technology of routing path for efficient service delivery of the host. Therefore, in this paper, the routing path that is currently study examined the tracking technology, we try to refer to routing method of the future of the mobile host.

Range-Doppler Map generating simulator for ship detection and tracking research using compact HF radar (콤팩트 HF 레이더를 이용한 선박 검출 및 추적 연구를 위한 Range-Doppler Map 생성 시뮬레이터)

  • Due to the merit of having wide range with low cost, HF radar's ship detection and tracking research as maritime surveillance system has been recently studied. Many ship detection and tracking algorithms have been developed so far, however, performance comparison cannot be conducted properly because the states of target ships (such as moving path, size, etc.) differ from each study. In this paper, we propose a simulator based on compact HF radar, which generates data according to the size and moving path of target ship. Given the generated data with identical ship state, it is possible to conduct performance comparison. In order to validate the proposed simulator, the simulated data has been compared with real data collected by the SeaSonde HF radar sites. As a result, it has been shown that our simulated data resembles the real data. Therefore, the performance of various detection or tracking algorithms can be compared and analyzed respectively by using our simulated data.

Advanced Region Slopes Method to Reduce Code Tracking Bias in Future Global Navigation Satellite Systems (부호동기 추적편이 보상을 위한 이른영역기울기 기법)

  • In this paper, a tracking bias compensation method is proposed for future global navigation satellite systems (GNSSs). It is observed that the correlation function of a GNSS signal has many peaks and remains almost unchanged in the advanced offset region as a result of the multipath signals arriving at the receiver later than a line-of-sight signal. Based on these observations, we use the slopes in the advanced offset region to compensate for the code tracking bias, and obtain the maximum code tracking bias, which is essential to implement the proposed scheme, in static multipath environments. Finally, it is demonstrated that the proposed compensation method is very effective for the GNSS signal tracking in terms of the code tracking biases and their running averages.

Tracing a Logical Path of Passengers: A Case study of Seoul Metro Line 9 (도시철도 승객경로 추적에 관한 연구: 서울지하철 9호선을 중심으로)

  • Based on an observation that tag-out times of passengers from Smart Card data were clustered, Hong et al.[1] recently developed a precise algorithm that detects a logical path for metro passengers. The logical path means the sequence of train boarding and alighting. In this paper, we observe that tag-out times of passengers in Seoul Metro Line 9 were also clustered; we trace an actual logical path of passengers by applying the algorithm. As a result, we identify 91% of passengers successfully and find their logical paths; we also investigate passengers'preferences between express and local trains.

Development of the Shortest Route Search Algorithm Using Fuzzy Theory (퍼지 추론을 이용한 최단 경로 탐색 알고리즘의 개발)

  • This paper presents the algorithm using fuzzy inference that preestimates each link speed changed by different kinds of road situations. The elements we are considered are time zone, rainfall probability information and lane control information. This paper is consists of three parts. First of all we set up the fuzzy variables, and preestimate link speed changed by various road situations. For this process, we build the membership functions for each fuzzy variable and establish the fuzzy inference relations to find how fuzzy variables influence on link speed. Second, using backtracking method, we search the shortest route influenced by link speed changed by fuzzy inference. Third, we apply this algorithm to hypothetical network and find the shortest path. As a result, it is shown that this algorithm choose appropriate roundabout path according to the changing road situations.

  • Our research introduces a novel system for creating 3D vehicle animation. Our system is for intuitively authoring vehicle accident scenes according to videos or based on user-drawn trajectories. Our system has been implemented by combining three existing ideas. The first part is for obtaining 3D trajectory of a vehicle from black-box videos. The second part is a tracking algorithm that controls a vehicle to follow a given trajectory with small errors. The last part optimizes the vehicle control parameters so that the error between the input trajectory and simulated vehicle trajectory is minimized. We also simulate the deformation of the car due to an impact to achieve believable results in real-time.

Performance Improvement of RRT* Family Algorithms by Limiting Sampling Range in Circular and Spherical Obstacle Environments (샘플링 범위 제한을 이용한 원 및 구 장애물 환경에서의 RRT* 계열 알고리즘 성능 개량)

  • The development of unmanned robots and UAVs has increased the need for path planning methods such as RRT* algorithm. It mostly works well in various environments and is utilized in many fields. A lot of research has been conducted to obtain a better path in terms of efficiency through various modifications to the RRT* algorithm, and the performance of the algorithm is continuously improved thanks to these efforts. In this study, a method using the limitation of sampling range is proposed as an extension of these efforts. Based on the idea that a path passing close to obstacles is similar to the optimal path in obstacle environments, nodes are produced around the obstacle. Also, rewiring algorithm is modified to quickly obtain the path. The performance of the proposed algorithm is validated by comparative analysis of the previous basic algorithm and the generated path is tracked by a UAV's kinematic model for further verification.

  • 무선 통신 기술의 발달로 인하여 무선 환경의 상황을 예측하기 위한 시뮬레이션이 필요하게 되었다. 본 논문에서는 무선 환경에서 전파의 수신 범위 및 전파 세기 등의 상황을 예측하기 위한 효율적인 전파 추적 기법에 대해 고찰하고, 전파추적 및 경로 계산을 할 수 있는 알고리즘을 제안한다. 또한 제안된 알고리즘을 통하여 빔 트레이서를 구현하고, 실제와 유사한 전파 환경에서 트레이서를 이용한 시뮬레이션으로 알고리즘의 안정성과 효율성을 검증한다.

  • 본 논문은 보행자의 이동경로 추적을 위해 PDR(Pedestrian Dead Reckoning) 알고리즘을 탑재한 임베디드 모듈과 연결 가능한 안드로이드 어플리케이션을 구현하였다. 임베디드 모듈은 IMU센서를 통해 얻은 값을 통해 보행자의 위치를 구하고 어플리케이션에 전송한다. 어플리케이션은 임베디드 모듈로부터 위치 값을 받아 스마트폰 화면에 실시간으로 사용자의 위치를 디스플레이 한다. 어플리케이션을 구현하여 필드 테스트를 진행한 결과 보행자의 이동경로를 비교적 정확하게 추적하였다.
