  • This paper proposes the track layout criterion for the LRT(light rail transit). All criterions established concerning dimension and performance of LRT vehicles with rubber wheel. Using theoretical approach, adaptation and validity of criterions are verified. Especially, it were modified according to change of vehicle performance that criterions proposed previous version Proposed criterions may provide a standard scheme for design and construction of the track layout on LRT.

  • This paper describes the capacity calculation of power supply system for light Rail Transit Three factors are considered for the design i.e. substation arrangements, line configuration and substation power capacity. In this study, we considered all of them for capacity calculation of power supply system for LRT. At first DC-fed-traction system is introduced on an outline, a characteristics of train and fed network, and design method of substation arrangements. Optimal design procedures are described, and program for capacity calculation of the system is presented. In addition, the computer simulated results are computed with the conventional simple calculation method.

  • This paper proposes the track layout criterion for the LRT(light rail transit). All criterions established concerning dimension and performance of LRT vehicles that are three types. Types of vehices are AGT(automated guided train) steel wheel. AGT rubber tire and LIM(linear induction motor). Using theoritical approach, adaptation and validity of criterions are verified. Proposed criterions may provide a standard scheme for design and construction of the infrastructure on LRT.

  • The objectives of railway construction and operation are transportation of passenger and freight safely and punctually. However, environmental effects such as noise, vibration, air pollution, underground water pollution and change of biosphere are emerged caused by train pass-bys. To avoid these adverse effects, new railway system has been developed around the world. This paper introduces LRT system and its environmental advantages. An environmental consideration for LRT design and adoptability for Korean situation are studied for the more.

  • Rotating bogie frame will be used in the bogie for the Light Rail Train being developed. In development of the bogie, analyzed were the structural strength and fatigue characteristics of the rotating bogie frame. Defined load cases were applied for the analysis. No part of the rotating bogie frame is subjected to stress beyond the fatigue endurance limits of the material used when grinding the weldment of the lower plate link bend. It is concluded that the rotating bogie frame is considered safe in the view of the structural strength.

  • 궤도회로를 사용하지 않고 무선통신을 이용하여 지상-차상간 정보를 송수신하고 열차속도를 제어하는 CBTC 시스템에서, CBTC 차상장치와 추진제어장치와 제동제어장치, 출입문 개폐장치 등의 차량내 각종 차량제어장치들간의 인터페이스를 죄 적화하기 위한 방안에 대하여 검토하였다. 또한 현재 국가연구개발사업으로 추진중인 경량전철 신호제어시스템 개발에 적용하여, 시스템 최적화를 통한 시스템 설계 및 시험평가에 적용하였다.
