This study analyzed the relationship between the physical properties of soil and the compression index of the soft clay in Gyungnam coastal region. Tests of physical and mechanical properties of soil have been carried out under the undisturbed condition at 82 Gimhae, 18 Jinhae and 27 Geojespecimens. The result showed that Terzaghi & Peck's empirical equation of the compression index were not applicable. The compression index of soft clay in Gyungnam coastal region was correlated with the water contents, the liquid limit and the initial void ratio. Among these, the initial void ratio showed the highest correlation with the compression index of soft clay in Gyungnam coastal region and the relationship is shown in the following. (1) The compression index of soft clay in Gyungnam coastal region is represented as follows: $C_c=0.74(e_o-0.7$ (2) The relationship between compression index and the swelling index in Gyungnam coastal region is represented as follows: $C_s=(1/8-1/15)C_c$.

In this research, we analyzed the efficiency of 20 public health centers of Gyeongnam Province during 2007-2009, so weakness of input and output factor were found. We used the CCR, BCC model of Data Envelopment Analysis as a method of evaluation, made a choice human resource as the input variable, made a selection the performance of public health care center, ward as the output variable. The results of this study show that the efficiency of 20 public health centers have got better because Government and Gyeongnam have provided administrative, financial support. It is expected that this research can give good information for effective management of public health centers.

Weed species investigated along the waterway of Kyungnam and Kyungpook provinces on September, 1989 were 88 species in 33 families and 96 species in 33 families, respectively. Three weed community types were observed along the waterway of Kyungnam province, namely, Echiuochoa cars-galli, Persicaria hydropiper and Persicaria thunbergii, and five community types such as Humulus japonicus-bideus froudosa, Solanum nigrum, Persicaria thunbergii-Humulus japonicus, Humulus japonicus and Persicaria thunbergii were detected along the waterway of Kyungpook province. The most dominant weed species indentified along the waterways in both Kyungnam and Kyungpook provinces were Pensicaria tlrutrheagii and Persicaria hydropiper which are the aquatic weed species.

오늘날 기업의 인터넷 활용상태를 보면 인터넷을 통한 기업내의 인트라넷(Intranet), 기업간의 엑스트라넷(Extranet)이 활발하게 구축되고 있으며, 전자상거래 시도를 촉진하는 매개체로서의 역할도 충실하게 수행하고 있는 실정이다. 인터넷 환경에서 전자상거래가 활성화를 이루면서 웹사이트의 시스템을 제대로 구축하고자 하는 노력이 시도되었으며, 그 적용범위 및 가능성이 증대되었다. 기업의 입장에서 보면, 인터넷상의 모든 기업이 경쟁자가 되므로, 생존을 위한 더욱 치밀한 기술 및 기법이 필요하다. 전 세계의 고객으로부터 정보사용 수준에 관한 요구가 쇄도할 수 있으며, 그 요구는 현재의 수준보다 훨씬 다양한 형태로 나타날 수 있다. 이러한 고객의 욕구를 만족시키기 위해서는 단순한 정보를 제시하는 것에서 벗어나 전문지식을 이용한 웹사이트 시스템을 개발하는 것이 필연적이다. 이 상황에 적절한 대책 사업인 경남지역 기계산업정보화사업을 중점으로 해서, 그 동안 추진해 온 사업을 앞으로의 전국 대상으로 한 관련된 기업체들을 보다 더 확대 수용할 수 있게 정부차원에서 전략적인 방안이 마련되어야 하겠다. 전자상거래를 성공적으로 적용하기 위한 전략적 방안은 국가차원에서 지역특성을 감안한 정보화 사업을 제대로 수행을 해야 한다. 이는 인프라 구축과 더불어 지속적인 사업이 되어야 한다. 대외적인 여세를 대비해 보면, 사업 추진해온 경남지역을 중심으로 한 경남지역의 4,877개 기계산업체를 대상으로 구성된 ASP(Application Service Provider) 기반 인프라를 현실화로 기하기 위해 국가차원에서 지속적으로 지원이 이루어진 여건 하에서 이용업체와 지원기관의 적극적인 협조체제가 이루어져야 만이 다가온 국제적 변화에 대응할 수가 있다는 것이다.

초고층건물은 랜드마크로서 그 도시를 대표해 정치, 경제, 사회적으로 엄청난 파급효과 창출이 입증되면서 세계 유수 도시가 경쟁적으로 추진하고 있다. 울산광역시와 경상남도는 울산 경남을 상징하는 초고층 건물 건립을 진행하고 있으며 현재 시공 중이거나 시공 예정인 고층 건물은 $\triangle$태화강 이안 엑소디움 (54층) $\triangle$두산 위브더 제니스(48층) $\triangle$풍림 엑슬루타워(43층) $\triangle$코오롱 파크폴리스(39층) 등이다. 울산 경남 지역에 건립됐거나 건립 예정인 고층건물에 대해 알아본다. 본지는 지난 6월 서울특별시에 이어 전국에 건설 중이거나 건설 예정인 고층건물에 대한 정보를 수록할 예정이다.

국가 경제의 근간을 중소기업에서 찾는 우리나라의 산업정책은 지속적으로 중소기업의 발전을 위해 많은 지원과 투자를 계속해오고 있다. 최근에는 제품 경쟁력 제고를 위한 디자인 및 첨단 기술 혁신 분야에 있어서 더욱 박차를 가하고 있다. 그러나 공신력 있는 설문 보고들에 의하면 지방의 중소기업이 이러한 정부의 정책에 실질적인 도움을 얻지는 못하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이에 경남지역 기계제조 관련 중소기업을 중심으로 전자상거래의 활성화를 위한 멀티미디어 컨텐츠 요구를 조사하고 실제 프로젝트 진행을 통해 적용사례를 도출해 봄으로써 효율적인 멀티미디어 컨텐츠 전략을 제안해 보고자 한다.
