  • This study was performed for make the plan of large residential zone considering reduction of the traffic noise and landscape, to meet the demand of resident who pursuit the amenity. For the first time, suitable traffic noise prediction model was selected and modified. Also, quantitative analysis of the traffic noise reductor was performed. These results are utilized plan of large residential zone efficiently.

  • This study extracted and analyzed physical components of street view with external streets at large-scaled apartment house complex of Sangmu Housing Site Development District in Gwangju, examined factors affecting the image of street view and visual perceptional characteristics by image, analyzed relationship between components of street view and visual preferences of image and aimed to provide basic materials needed for making external street view at apartment house complex of high Qualify.

공동주택 경관평가를 위한 시각밀도 지표에 관한 연구 입면차폐도와 규제지침을 중심으로 (An Visual Density Index for the Housing Landscape Evaluation Focused on the Elevation Coverage Index)

  • Recently the landscape of housing has been emphasized. This trend seems to reflect the negative aspects of housing landscape in urban area. Throughout the analysis on the various visual density index, the following findings were obtained; 1) Elevation blockage ratio(EBR) was permitted differently according to the types of housing blocks, and the preference of block layout was different to the location of site. 2) EBR regulation level was acceptable. But 40m level of general area should be stepped up to the 35m level. 3) The correlation between the floor area ratio(FAR) and the EBR was not high. Therefore it is reasonable to regulate the EBR to the location. 4) Elevation coverage ratio(ECR) was highly correlated with the FAR. It means that FAR can substitute for the ECR, and ECR should be regulated to the level of FAR.

  • This study aims to examine and research the characteristics of apartment landscape at the street from a view that apartments are the major element of a cityscape and many apartments form a street today. Then, the subjects of this study were three sections consisting of streets in Namak New Town and the results were as follows. A streetscape is necessary to have identity under the unity(context) of parts which orient to "one as a whole". However, the subject apartments were not united(contextual) in layouts, roofs, and walls, whereas their facades appeared too united(contextual). Accordingly, to make a united(contextual) streetscape, the wall located in a boundary(a buffer zone) with public space which consists of a streetscape, building layout, building height, and roof forms need a design guideline which can have unity as a whole to connect with architectural design. On the other hand, the facade which was found too uniform should have a more active design guideline to elicit identity at unity.

저층고밀형 주택지 정비수법에 관한 연구 (A Case Study on the Environmental Improvement of Low-Rise and High-Density Housing)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 구릉지의 노후된 주택지 정비에 있어 경관을 고려한 저층고밀형 개발방식의 가능성을 검토하는 것이다. 구릉지역에 있어서는 기존의 평지형 정비방식을 적용해서는 곤란하며 지형순응형 개발을 유도할 수 있는 방안이 필요하다. 이를 위해 우선 사례지역을 선정하여 GIS DATA 등을 활용하여 토지이용현황을 조사하고 사업의 손익분기점이 되는 용적률을 산출하였다. 그 결과 용적률 180% 정도에서 최소한의 정비사업이 가능한 것을 알 수 있었다. 이에 따라 공동주택과 테라스하우스 등을 혼합한 정비방식을 적용하여 개발시뮬레이션과 경관시뮬레이션을 실시하였다. 경관시뮬레이션은 AutoCAD 2004와 ArcView 3.2a를 활용하였다. 이를 통해 혼합형 저층고밀의 정비방식을 도입한다면 지형순응형 개발에 대한 가능성과 효과가 나타나는 것으로 입증되었다.
