In general, conventional sheeting H-pile is often used as a temporary member installed upon construction of outer retaining wall at basement floor. In CBW (composite basement wall), R/C basement wall is combined with H-Pile and resists lateral soil pressure together. This paper presents an experimental results of push out shear test of CBW with stud coupler as shear connectors to combine H-Pile with R/C wall six specimens with different diameter of FT (form tie) and arrangement of shear connectors were tested to evaluate the shear capacity of the composite wall. Test results showed that shear strength increased with diameter of FT. The shear strength of shear connector in CBW could be suitably predicted by using the previous equations codified in the codes. Best correlation, especially, was found when the calculation result by the formula in AISC 360-05 was compared to test one.

The purpose of this study was to contribute to the field application cost effectively and reasonably by developing the functional piles that reinforces shear force. CFP pile (Concrete Filled Pretensioned Spun High Strength Concrete Pile with Ring type Composite shear connectors) developed in this study increases the shear stress by placing composite shear connector and filling the concrete into hollow part of the pile. By placing the reinforcement (H13-8ea) and the reinforcement (H19-8ea) into hollow section inside of PHC piles, it also improves the shear strength due to increasing steel ratio. It reinforces shear strength effectively by dowel force that is generated by putting reinforcement (H13-8) into the holes of composite shear connectors for the composite behavior of filled concrete and PHC pile. The study was reviewed and compared the calculated result of the shear strength by limit state design method highway bridge design standards (2012) and experiment result of the shear strength by KS F 4306. We can design the shear strength reasonably as the safety ratio of 2.20, 2.15, 2.05 is shown comparing to design shear strength, according to design shear strength on each cross sections and the experiment results of the CFP pile.

In this paper, when the composite beam is made with UHPC deck and steel girder, the steel girder takes the form of the inverted-T shape without top flange because of high strength and stiffness of UHPC deck. There is no evaluation by experiment and analysis about the shear connector behavior on the web of steel girder and flexural behavior of inverted-T shape composite beam. By this reason, this study compares between experiment and analysis by using tension softening model of UHPC on the basis of flexural test results of 16 members considering compressive strength of UHPC, spacing of stud and thickness of deck as variables. The results of tensile strength of UHPC by inverse analysis were 6.57 MPa(in case of 120 MPa) and 9.57 MPa(in case of 150 MPa). In case of the test members with small stud spacing, the results of analysis and test were close clearly, and the test members with thick deck and low UHPC compressive strength also similar, but effects were small. As it compared between analysis and experiment totally, the results of analysis and experiment agree well. So the tension softening model of UHPC is reasonably reflected on the real behavior of composite beam of UHPC.

(주)상지피앤아이를 방문해 사장을 만나기 위해서는 어디로 가야 할까. 이렇게 쉬운 질문을 하는 이유는 간단하다. 왜냐하면 사장실이 없기 때문에 어디로 가야할지 모르거나 혹은 눈에 띄는 대로 만날 수 있기 때문이다. 상지피앤아이의 이창래 사장은 고객이 부르면 가고, 직원들이 결재할 일이 있으면 직원 자리로 가면 되기 때문에 사장실이 필요 없다는 생각이다. 조금은 의아한 생각이 들지만 이 사장은 가만히 머물러있기를 거부한다. 그래서 마라톤도 하고, 끊임없이 생각도 하고, 고객을 찾기도 하고, 직원들을 만나기도 한다.
