디지털 홈 서비스에서 홈 게이트웨이는 댁내 장치의 외부 접근을 허용하기 연결 통로 역할을 하는 중요한 네트워크 장비이다. 이 장비는 사업자 관점에서 보면 관리의 대상이며, 보다 쉽게 관리하고자 관리서버를 외부에 두어 다수의 홈 게이트웨이를 원격으로 관리하고 있다. 새로 설치된 홈 게이트웨이의 초기 부팅과정이나 기존 홈 게이트웨이의 재 부팅 과정에서의 홈 게이트웨이를 관리서버에 등록하기 위한 초기 프로비져닝 기능을 가지고 있고, 부팅과정이 끝난 후 홈 게이트웨이가 작동하는 동안 관리에 필요한 관리 에이전트를 다운로드하고 이루에는 이 관리 에이전트가 홈 게이트웨이에 관한 관리를 맡게 진다. 이러한 홈 게이트웨이의 초기 프로비져닝 기능은 홈 게이트웨이가 많아질수록 관리서버라 홈 게이트웨이간의 통신에 중대한 영향을 미치며, 홈 게이트웨이를 원격으로 관리하는데 지연이 발생할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 홈 게이트웨이 초기 프로비져닝 기능에 더한 방법을 소개하고 구현한 결과를 테스트한다.

As the interest in the wireless internet services is increasing recently, the related technology development is in active progress. According to WAP (Wireless Application Protocol) specification which is currently considered as one of the most powerful international standardizations, mobile terminal and WAP server are supposed to communicate through WAP Gateway. This paper is about the design and implementation of IWAP platform where WAP Gateway and Server are integrated and supported based on Linux. The proposed WAP platform broadly consists of four modules like WAP Gateway, JAVA based Server development environment, WML Tool-Kit, and MUL (Management User Interface) and for bearer network, SMSC (Short Message Service Center) and CSD (Circuit Switched Data) router are considered.

In this paper, In order to solve the traffic of the SNS to be executed on smartphone, we propose the design of the SNS integrated gateway server. Also, we capture the payload size in a variety of methods to send the MQTT protocol and QoS level of MQTT protocol for communication between the client and the Gateway. And we present the results and analysis of packet loss and end-to-end delay. By using analysis proposed, we present the results of the integrated SNS Gateway push notification protocol design.

This paper proposes two systems. One is a Home Gateway(HG) which efficiently connects and controls digital appliances in the home network environments. The other is a Management Server(MS) that overcomes the physical limitation of the HG. The HG supports networking modules(TCP/IP for Ethernet, ADSL), home networking functions(HomePNA, IEEE1394 PLC) and telecommunication system(PSTN/SLT, VoIP, Video Communication). The HG is expected to be a core device for the integrated digital home environments. The MS is a dedicated server which manages and controls individual HG, home appliances and HA devices implemented at an area.

In this paper, we present integrated SNS Gateway as way to reduce mobile SNS traffic. Integrated SNS gateway's role is communication broker that located between mobile clients and SNS server. In Integrated SNS gateway, web service adapter communicates with SNS Server. Experiment was performed in aspects of contents RTT and network traffic. We evaluate and propose performances of integrated SNS gateway using gateway.

This paper is a study related to connecting to medical device in IoT environment for e-Health Implementation. The implementation environment of this paper consists of sensing device node, gateway and its server. The information from medical devices on sensor node is transferred to gateway. The gateway transfers the information from their devices into the server and the server saves their transferred information. The medical information from medical devices is ready to use in making medical decision which is saved in database. In this paper, we connected the gateway to the commercial sensor node for implementing gateway functions. We studied and implemented how their network entities communicate each other.

본 논문은 스크리닝 라우터에서 패킷 필터 규칙을 통과한 모든 트래픽이 베스쳔 호스트로 전달되도록 스크린드 호스트 게이트웨이를 사용하였으며, 스크린드 호스트 게이트웨이의 단점인 스크리닝 라우터의 경로정보가 내부 네트워크로 직접 전달되지 않도록 듀얼-홈드 게이트웨이를 사용하였다. 듀얼-홈드 게이트웨이에서는 두 개의 네트워크 인터페이스간에 트래픽이 직접 전달되지 않기 때문에 응용 게이트 웨이 서버를 통해서 트래픽이 전달되고 모든 접속기록이 베스쳔 호스트에 기록되도록 하였다. 또한 외부 네트워크와 내부 네트워크 사이에 완충지역인 DMZ를 두어 공개 서버를 사용하기 쉽게 구현하여, 스크리닝 라우터와 스크린드 호스트 게이트웨이의 문제점을 해결하는 효과적인 혼합형 방화벽 모델을 제안하고자 한다.

인터넷을 이용하는 인구가 늘어남에 따라 인터넷을 통해 제공되는 서비스도 점점 다양해지고 있다. 이로 인하여, 다양한 서비스를 제공하는 각종 서버들에 대한 보안 사고도 증가하고 있다. 그리고, 보안에 대한 관심과 필요성이 증가하면서 많은 보안 솔루션들이 개발되었으며. 다양한 보안 솔루션을 상호 연동함으로써 종합적인 보안 관리를 하기 위한 ESM 시스템이 제시 되었다. ESM 시스템은 보안 위협에 대해 빠른 판단, 대응, 그리고 원격지 네트워크에 대한 보안 관리를 가능하게 한다. 그러나, 원격지 네트워크에 대한 보안 관리는 인터넷을 거치기 때문에 많은 보안 위협에 직접적으로 노출될 수 있다. 이를 해결하기 위해서 ESM의 메인 시스템 부분이 인터넷과 직접 연결되지 않도록 하여 직접적인 보안 위협으로부터 보호하고, 타겟 시스템의 모니터링 정보가 유출, 위조, 변조되는 것을 방지하기 위해서 사용자의 접근을 인증해주는 인증 게이트웨이의 활용이 필요하다. 따라서, 본 논문에서는 ESM의 메인 시스템 부분에 인증을 거친 에이전트만이 접근할 수 있도록 하여 ESM 시스템의 에이전트로부터 오는 정보를 안전하게 받음으로써 원격지 네트워크상의 서버나 보안 솔루션에 대한 통합 보안 관리를 안전하게 수행할 수 있는 인증 게이트웨이를 활용한 ESM 시스템을 개발하였다. 본 논문의 ESM시스템은 에이전트, 인증 게이트웨이, 매니저, CA 서버, 운용 소프트웨어로 구성되어 있다.

이동 전화를 비롯한 무선 단말기에서 시간과 장소에 구애받지 않는 인터넷 이용 욕구가 증대됨에 따라 WAP 표준이 발표되었고, WAP 게이트웨이를 통해 무선단말기에서 인터넷을 제한적이나마 이용할 수 있게 되었다. 그러나 현재의 WAP 게이트웨이는 클라이언트/서버 응용과 같은 다양한 응용을 만족시키기에는 적합하지 않다. 본 논문에서는 WAP 게이트웨이에 분산객체 표준인 CORBA 기술을 적용하여 확장함으로써 다양한 서버로 구성된 인터넷을 이용한 클라이언트/서버 응용을 보다 용이하게 개발할 수 있도록 하는 시스템을 설계하였다.

In the firewall systems of 3-tier client/server systems, in general, data transmission speed is declined rapidly according to the duplicated proxy services in application server and fire wall server. In this paper, an application server configuration containing the proxy functions of firewall system is proposed so that the high speed data transmission can be achieved. The proposed application server can form the dual-homed gateway by means of the additional network interface card. The screened router of application server forms the screened subnet gateway that can separate the internal network. The proposed server configuration is more effective in traffic control than the traditional firewall systems and provides high speed data transmission with the functions of firewall. It can be also cost-effective alternative to the firewall system.
