본 논문에서는 캠핑 입문자가 캠핑 관련 정보를 직관적이고 편리하게 확인하고 공유할 수 있도록 돕는 웹 응용 서비스를 개발하였다. 카카오맵 API를 통해 지도를 표시하고 공공데이터 포털의 Open REST API 중 하나인 한국관광공사 고캠핑 정보 조회서비스_GW를 활용하였다. 개발된 웹 응용 서비스를 통하여 캠핑 입문자들도 국내의 캠핑장 데이터를 지도에서 손쉽게 검색하고 커뮤니티를 통해 이를 교류할 수 있도록 하는 것에 목적을 두었다.

본 논문은 구글(Google), 워드넷(WordNet)과 같이 공개된 웹 자원과 리소스를 이용한 비교사학습(Unsupervised learning) 방법을 제안하여 단어 의미의 중의성 문제를 해결하고자 한다. 구글 검색 API를 이용하여 단어의 확장된 근접 문맥정보를 추출하고, 워드넷의 계층체계와 synset을 이용하여 단어 의미 구분정보를 자동 추출한 후, 추출된 정보 간 유사도 계산을 통해 중의성을 갖는 단어의 의미를 결정한다.

In the multimedia tele-medical system the medical informations are stored and managed in multimedia database. Also, multimedia DBMS is essential in order to manage large scale medical informations, and the remote access function is necessary for the distributed processing at all around the hospital. For the multimedia tele-medical information that is composed of image/picture, data, video, and audio, a high-speed telecommunication network is necessary that can provide separated connections for each medical information type with different QoS. The commercial DBMSs are based on the TCP/IP socket API(Application Programming Interface) that does not provide multiple QoS. Also, each commercial DBMS has its own API that is incompatible with other DBMS. In this paper, we propose a multimedia DBMS agent for the remote access of the multimedia database in the tele-medical system. The proposed multimedia DBMS agent is based on the ATM API that can provide high-speed data transfer capability and multiple QoS connections. Also, the proposed multimedia DBMS agent is independent of the commercial DBMS. We explain the functional architecture of the multimedia DBMS agent, implementation technology on the ATM network environment, and the result of performance analysis.

최근 정보통신 환경은 통신, 방송, 인터넷이 통합되는 디지털 융합 서비스 제공 형태로 급속히 변화하고 있다. 이에 따라 통신환경이 개방형 네트워크 형태의 광대역통합망으로 변화하였다. 이런 광대역 통합망에서는 Open API(Application Program Interface)에 의하여 third-party 애플리케이션의 제공을 가능하게 한다. Open API에는 대표적으로 Parlay API가 있으며 Parlay API와 웹 서비스를 접목시키고 한단계 더 추상화한 Parlay X API가 있다. 웹 서비스의 요소중의 하나인 UDDI는 웹 서비스를 쉽게 검색, 공유 및 재사용 할 수 있도록 하는 환경을 가져오게 된다. 본 논문에서는 웹서비스기반의 개방형서비스 게이트웨이를 위한 효율적인 UDDI 레지스트리 구축방안에 대해 제안하였다.

Recently with advent of Web 2.0, RESTful Web Services are becoming increasing trend to emphasize Web as platform. There are already many services and the number of service increases in very fast pace. So it is difficult to find the service what we want by keyword based search. To solve this problem, we developed the search method using sem antic technologies about RESTful Web Services. For that, first we define the system structure and model the description format based on the integrated search system for OpenAPIs, and then we add Semantic Markup (tagging, semantic annotation) on the HTML description pages. Next we extract RDF document from them and store it in service repository. Based on the keywords that are extended by means of ontology, the developed system provides more purified and extended results than similarity-based keyword searching system.

최근 웹 2.0과 시맨틱 웹의 대중화와 더불어 Open API와 링크드 데이터를 이용한 시맨틱 웹 융복합(매쉬업) 서비스가 주목을 받고 있다. 다양한 링크드 데이터와 Open API들을 조합함으로써 새로운 서비스들을 쉽고 빠르게 만드는 것이 가능하기 때문이다. 하지만 사용자가 링크드 데이터와 Open API 서비스를 사용하기 위해서는 서비스 입력 값이나 출력값 등의 해당 정보를 얻어야 하며 이를 위해 링크드 데이터와 Open API를 제공해 주는 사이트를 직접 방문해야만 하는 불편함을 가지게 된다. 본 논문에서는 시맨틱 웹 매쉬업 서비스를 위한 통합 링크드 데이터 및 Open API 관리 시스템을 설계하고 구현하였다. 제안한 시스템에서 사용자는 사전 지식 없이 통합 관리 시스템을 통해 원하는 링크드 데이터와 Open API 서비스를 검색하고 실행할 수 있다. 또한 실행된 결과는 XML 형태로 저장되어 추후 매쉬업 시 재사용이 가능하도록 한다.

현재 Open API는 프로그램 개발 및 정보의 제공 등 다양한 방향에서 많이 활용 되고 있다. Open API는 개발된 기술을 웹으로 공개하여 네트워크가 연결된 곳이라면 어디서든지 그 기술을 활용할 수 있다. 잘 개발된 Open API는 매쉬업을 통해 또 다른 기술과 합쳐 새로운 서비스를 개발하는 등 그 활용빈도가 높다. 이미 개발된 기술을 활용할 수 있어서 개발 속도가 단축되고 새로운 서비스를 개발하면서 기존의 부족한 부분을 합쳐 더욱 창의적인 정보 제공이 가능하다. 이러한 Open API의 특성을 이용하여 시맨틱 기술 개발을 지원할 수 있으며, 개발 시간 단축 및 관계 설정, 온톨로지 제공 등을 네트워크를 통해 사용자들에게 제공하고 활용할 수 있는 방법을 제시한다. 시맨틱 기술은 사람이 글을 읽고 의미를 이해하는 것처럼 컴퓨터가 이해할 수 있는 언어와 규칙들을 정해 놓아 컴퓨터 사이의 의사소통을 가능하게 하는 지능형 기술이다. 이런 시맨틱 기술 개발을 지원하기 위하여 Open API를 통해 온톨로지의 개념 및 속성, 관계 설정, 코퍼스 등을 제공하기 하기 위해 CoreOnto API라는 것을 구축했다. CoreOnto API는 네트워크에서 사용할 수 있는 Open API로 세가지의 큰 형태의 Open API를 제공하고 있다. 첫 번째, 온톨로지에 대한 클래스, 속성, 관계를 제공하는 APIs, 두 번째, 트리플(두개의 용어가 어떤 관계인지를 표현한 형태로 구성(용어1, 관계, 용어2)) 생성 및 구축된 트리플을 검색할 수 APIs, 세 번째, 온톨로지를 생성하기 위해 필요한 자원(온톨로지 명, 개체명, 관계, 코퍼스 등)을 제공하는 APIs로 구성했다. 이상과 같이 시맨틱 기술 개발을 지원하기 위한 큰 형태의 세 가지 APIs를 구축하는 방법과 APIs의 활용, 그리고 서비스를 테스트한 결과를 제시한다.

The purpose of this paper is to propose a powerful alternative in designing knowledge portals using Topic Maps(TM). In this study, the present condition of 8 Open APIs for books, such as Naver, Daum, Aladdin, Amazon, Google, KERIS, LibraryThing, and OCLC, were compared and analyzed. In addition, the bibliographic records of 167 samples of visible 'light & paraphotic' (DDC 535) classifications were selected from the bibliographic records of the library of C university, and the effectiveness of the Open APIs were compared and analyzed. On the basis of the results of this analysis, 12 Open API application models, which were judged to be useful in expanding the function of the access point of the bibliographic records and enhancing the library catalog using Open API, were experimentally implemented. Various methods of augmenting access points of bibliographic records and expanded library catalogue were investigated using the unique identifier described in the KORMARC fields of 001, 010, 012, 020, 035, 246, 505, 520, 850, 856 for the integrated format for bibliographic data, and Open API. Finally, using Open API for the brief display and detailed display screen as a result of search of the OPAC of the sample bibliographic records, the devices for the expanding library catalog were implemented as examples.

The SQL CLl (Call Level Interface) is a database application programming interface (API) that fits the client-server environment, and its de facto standards such as ODBC and JDBC are widely employed in various applications. The current SQL CLl standards, however, do not specify enough features for efficient retrieval of large objects (LOBs) that constitute the multimedia data. In this paper, we propose the LOB caching through the SQL CLl and describe the extension of the SQL eLl to achieve such a goal. We implement our proposal by extending the SQL CLl library for BADA - II DBMS developed at ETRI, and evaluate the performance of LOB retrieval through the cache compared to that of LOB retrieval conducted solely with the functions specified in the current SQL CLl standards.
