건설안전리포트 - 신동아건설 신문로 2구역 제5지구업무시설 신축현장

  • 서울의 중심 종로구, 한국의 선진 경제를 상징하는 각종 건축물이 모여 있는 곳. 우뚝 솟은 건물들은 아름다운 스카이라인을 연출하며 이곳을 오가는 수 십만 행인들의 탄성을 자아낸다. 지금 이곳에선 또 하나의 우수한 건축물이 베일을 벗고 기대에 찬 사람들을 맞이할 준비를 하고 있다. 그 주인공은 바로 신동아건설 신문로 2구역 제5지구업무시설 신축현장. 이곳을 흙먼지 펄펄 날리는 흔한 건설현장이라고 생각한다면 큰 오해를 할 것이다. 외관에서 내관에 이르기까지 깨끗이 정리된 모습은 현장을 방문한 이들이 '이 곳이 건설현장이 맞나'하는 의구심까지 들게 한다. 또한 '조금의 진동과 약간의 먼지도 허용하지 않겠다'는 투철한 각오로 도심 속 현장에 맞는 공법을 도입, 조용함 속에 철저한 시공을 진행하고 있다. 이곳 현장은 지하 5층~지상 14층 규모의 업무시설로 현재 46.5%의 공정률을 보이고 있다. 2010년 10월을 준공일로 예정하며, 준공까지는 대략 10개월 남짓 남은 상황, 현재까지 무재해를 이어가고 있다. 시시각각 변화하는 공정에다 여러 협력업체들이 모여 있는 건설현장의 가변적 특성에도 불구하고 지금까지 무재해를 이어오고 있는 것이다. 이같은 배경에 대해 이곳 현장의 임직원들은 현장 내 자연스럽게 자리잡고있는 '자율적인 안전관리 문화'와 '감성안전문화'를 꼽는다.

Factors Influencing the Work Ability of Building Construction Field Managers (건축공사 현장관리자 작업능력에 영향을 미치는 요인)

  • The success of construction projects is heavily dependent on the work ability of the field managers who manage the execution of projects. The work ability of field managers is influenced by various elements such as job stress and individual characteristics. The purpose of this study is to reveal the factors influencing the work ability of construction field managers in Korea. Work ability is evaluated bases on the Work Ability Index(WAI) developed by the Finnish Institute of Occupational Health, while job stress is measured using the Korean Occupational Stress Questionnaire Short Form developed by the Korean Occupational Safety & Health Agency. The results showed that field managers under higher job stress have lower work abilities. In addition, it is revealed that exercise or religious practice have a positive influence on work ability. This study will help to increase the work ability and enable the efficient management of organization at building construction sites.

  • For a holistic and precise assessment of safety benchmarks within a construction venture, it's paramount to delineate between the intrinsic features of the construction and its real-time, on-site performance metrics. In this study, we delved into genuine accident instances to discern the interplay between these construction attributes and on-ground performance determinants in relation to safety mishaps, employing the binomial logit analytical framework. Our scrutiny underscored that construction expenditure profoundly modulates the likelihood of fatal occurrences. Notably, variables pertinent to on-site safety protocols wielded considerable influence over both fatal mishaps and accidents implicating multiple personnel. These revelations intimate that while ascertaining the safety quotient of a construction initiative, a mere classification and recalibration based on fiscal dimensions can elucidate much. Yet, a comprehensive safety appraisal necessitates transcending quantitative indices, such as frequency of mishaps or casualty rates, to encapsulate the multifaceted interventions and strategies adopted at the construction locale.

  • As the amount of construction information used in the growing construction field increases, the importance of efficient construction field management has been growing. Accordingly, this study aims to identifythe application situation and possibility of BIM through theoretical examinations and domestic & overseas case studies of BIM, and attempts to suggest an approach to the formulation of an efficient construction field management model through the implementation of phase-oriented and cooperation entity-oriented analysis in the construction field. In the future, the conclusions of this study should be used to formulate an actual construction field management model and apply it in the field.

  • Since February 2017, site managers in small architectural projects are required by the revised building act. In order to address issues for site managers and to improve project efficiency, system improving methods are surveyed and proposed in this study. The key inspection items in the existing surveillance guidance manual were investigated, and the checklist for site managers for a small to medium sized construction site was analyzed. This study also tries to propose using web-based site management systems for improvement of the utilization of checklists. It is expected that these on-site management systems, along with BIM technology, will be able to monitor the small size building construction project in real time and effectively monitor the various problems occurring on-site.

  • Construction industry try to use weather information because construction is much influenced by weather conditions. However, the researches, how to use the weather information in construction fields at present state, are not sufficient. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to present the methods for improving weather information application by analysis the present state in building construction fields. The results show that educations about application of weather information are poorly conducted though the construction engineers know that weather information is helpful to improve the performance and that weather information serviced is not suitable to apply their field's work. Based on the results, for improving the application of weather information, the construction engineers are structurally educated about applying weather information and the weather information system is developed to specialize the building construction projects. Additionally, construction companies have a long term plan to cultivate the experts who equally have a good knowledge and experience of weather information and construction technologies. These proposed methods help to decrease the influence of weather conditions and finally to improve the performance in building construction projects.

  • The building below standard scales to be built only by constructive report to authorities. Construction law 8 illustrates that supervision should be deployed in all the construction sites at the building which is found to have more than 3 floors and also to have more than $200m^2$ of total squares in especially outside area of city plan zone. Such a small construction is have a important and the most basic meaning. Many problems were found to occur in all the constructive places which were out of the limit of this law. The construction sites were found to be controlled by public official's visiting without supervisors and designers of architecture. Technique of construction in architecture was found to be not different from that of 1980. The security of employees in construction on sites has a serious problem. Because of choosing all the materials of the building without a reasonable point. All the building were found to have a law material about inside and outside aspects. The purpose of this study are to examine existing law about a small project and than to analyze the situation of constructive control through questionnaires and interviews with all the supervisors. Based on the data base of engineers who had a great experience in construction sites, The purpose of this study is also to suggest and advise the method of controlling all the items in architecture through on and off line.
