A Study on the Analysis of Planning and Management Factors of Finishing Works Using an Analytic Hierarchy Process (계층분석법(AHP)을 이용한 마감공정의 계획 및 관리요인 분석에 관한 연구 - 초고층 주거건축물 공사 건식벽체공법을 대상으로)

  • There is an increase in interest and investment in high-rise housing as it is perceived to be a new value-added market in the construction industry. In constructing a high-rise housing, the finishing works are executed in accompaniment with many other activities that are progressed repeatedly and spontaneously on each floor. It was reported that the duration of finishing works differs according to the management ability of the executing company and has a significant effect on the entire project duration. We suggest a need to concentrate on important management factors by analyzing the factors affecting the productivity of finishing works based on the site characteristics in high-rise housing. There are various complex productivity-affecting factors including the technical factors involved in planning and managing the processes of finishing works. From the viewpoint of planning and management factors, the importance of productivity-affecting factors was analyzed using the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP). A continuous examination of the management of high-importance factors will make it possible to improve productivity by enhancing the understanding of productivity-affecting factors of finishing works and suggesting a practical management direction.

  • 내진성능평가 시스템은 구조시스템의 합리적인 분류, 적절한 평가 기준, 그리고 종합적인 평가방법을 포함하여야한다. 외국의 현행 내진성능 평가방법은 데이터의 수집과 주요 평가 항목을 위한 약산식 그리고 평가 점수를 이용하여 전문가의 판단에 근거한 평가 방법을 제시하고 있다. 본 연구는 국내 건축구조물에 예비 내진평가 방법에 중점을 두고 퍼지추론 시스템에 근거한 내진평가방법의 전형을 개발한다. 평가항목의 위계는 건무의 수직, 수평방향을 불규칙성, 비대칭성, 여용성, 그리고 건물 연한을 포함한 전체적인 특성과 부재 단계에서의 상세한 평가 항목으로 구성한다. 퍼지추론방법에 대한 기존의 연구결과를 근허가혀 이용한 내진성능 평가방법에 적절히 적용하기 위하여 4가지 주요 모듈을 설정한다. (1) 퍼지 입력 (2) 퍼지에 근거한 규칙기반 (3) 퍼지추론, 그리고 (4) 퍼지출력으로 구성된다. 더욱이 개별적인 성능 수준에 종합적인 평가지수를 끌어내기 위하여 퍼지추론방법을 적용하였다.

Economic Analysis on the Automation System of the Cultivation Process in the Plant Factory (식물공장 재배 공정 자동화 시스템의 경제성 분석)

  • A plant factory is a facility that creates an artificial environment in a controlled space and produces plants systematically through automated facilities. However, automation in the cultivation process is insufficient compared to the internal environment control technology in plant factories. This causes the problem of an increase in operating costs due to the input of a large number of workers. Therefore, this study aims to evaluate economic feasibility by comparing before and after introducing automation in the cultivation process of plant factories. The target plant factory to be analyzed was selected, and the break-even point analysis method was used by comparing the cost required compared to the operating period. As a result, the break-even point was analyzed to be 3.4 years when automation was introduced into six processes for plant cultivation. Therefore, it can be judged that the introduction of automation is excellent in terms of economic feasibility when the target plant factory has been operated for more than 3.4 years. This study is expected to be used as basic data to analyze the economic feasibility of introducing automation in domestic and foreign plant factories.

  • As construction duration significantly influences the performance and the success of construction projects, it is necessary to appropriately manage the impact factors affecting construction duration. Recently, interest in the construction industry has been rising due to the recent change in the construction legal system, and the competition among the construction companies on construction time. However, the impact factors are extremely diverse. The existing productivity data on impact factors is not sufficient to properly identify the impact factor and measure the productivity from various perspectives, such as subcontractor, time, crew, work and so on. In this respect, a multidimensional analysis by a data warehouse is very helpful in order to view the manner in which productivity is affected by impact factors from various perspectives. Therefore, this research proposes a method that effectively takes the diverse productivity data of impact factors, and generates a multidimensional analysis. Decision tree analysis, a data mining technique, is also applied in this research in order to supply construction managers with appropriate productivity data on impact factors during the construction management process.

  • 인테리어 디자인학은 보편적으로 건물의 내부공간, 즉 매우 명확한 경계들을 전제로 잘 정의된 공간들에 관한 연구로 그 범위가 제한되어져 왔다. 따라서 건축, 도시, 또는 매우 광대한 의미에서의 환경디자인의 특권으로 알려져 있는 도시에 관한 쟁점을 그다지 자주 다루지 않는 편이라 할 수 있겠다. 그러나 극도로 고밀도화된 현대의 대도시들은 주요 지하 교통망을 중심으로 상업, 유흥, 업무시설 그리고 경우에 따라서는 주거단지에 까지 쉽게 연결되는 거대한양의 전이 실내공간들을 창출해내고 있다. 이것이 최근 홍콩의 건축가 게리 챙(Gary Chang)에 의해서 규정된 새로운 개념의 고밀도 도시 인테리어 랜드스케이프(interior landscape)인 것이다. 이러한 인테리어스케이프의 개념은 현대 도시의 모습 중에서 가장 흥미로운 개념들 중의하나라 할 수 있는데 다양한 요소들이 혼합된 그 특성은 이제 사회학, 건축, 인류학, 도시탐험, 인테리어 디자인, 도시 그리고 환경 디자인 등 다양한 분야에서 뜨거운 논쟁의 주제로 떠오르게 된 것이다. 이제 도시에 관한 연구는 더 이상 외부에서 내부로 진행되는 것이 아니고, 내부에서부터 출발되는 것이다. 극도로 밀집된 아시아의 대도시들은 이렇게 혼잡한 도시환경의 모든 요인들을 더 잘 이해할 수 있도록 다양하고 흥미로운 상황들을 제공해 주고 있다. 상업적 목적으로 건물 전체를 사용하는 수직적 전략이나 다양한 문화적 행태들은 도시 환경의 '혼잡성'을 그냥 참을만한 것이 아니라 오히려 그 도시만의 매력적 요소로 부각시켜 주는 것이다. 본 논문은 인테리어스케이프를 중심으로 진행되고 있는 다양한 이론적 논쟁들의 분석에 그 기초를 두고 있다. '장소성의 부재'의 개념, 혼잡의 문화, 공공공간의 사유화, 결절도시, 한계의 개념들을 분석하여 아시아 대도시들이 어떻게 이러한 쟁점들을 그들 자신만의 고유한 해결책으로 발전시키는지를 고찰하고자 한다. 본 논문의 목적은 서울을 사례분석 중 하나로 사용하여 인테리어 디자인 분야의 경계를 대도시로 확장하는 동시에 새로운 적용영역의 가능성을 탐구하는데 있다 하겠다.

Fuzzy Based Condition Assessment Model of Middle and Small-Size Buildings (중소규모 건축물의 퍼지기반 상태평가 모델)

  • In the current maintenance system of building, safety inspection and precise safety diagnosis have been applied only for Type 1 and 2 buildings. Considering the fact that middle and small-size buildings take up 99.4% of total buildings, it is necessary to implement safety diagnosis for the buildings to make long lasting buildings. This study suggested improvement methods for adjusting the existing evaluation items to middle and small-size buildings by reviewing the current diagnosis system and a survey. Based on the methods, an improved model, which modified the existing diagnosis model, was developed by applying fuzzy theory. If the improved model of this study is applied on site, the buildings except Type 1 and 2 could be maintained constantly. In the future studies, it is necessary to implement the developed model practically, to strengthen the feasibility of the model.

A Study on the Landscape Design for the Namyangju Gugjip House Complex (남양주 궁집(宮집) 외부공간 기본계획에 관한 연구)

  • This study is the result of a design proposal to create a history and culture complex for the "Gungjip," an Important Folklore Cultural Heritage, and its surroundings located in Namyangju, Gyeonggi Province. In particular, the purpose is to introduce a new design approach to a historical and cultural complex consisting of the Gungjip House and Hanok annexes to be opened to the public in the future; and to provide its implications for future study. Although the architectural condition of Gungjip House is well preserved, several problems have been found in the use of the site as a public space due to the lack of a plan for systematic space experience, lack of specific spatial programs, and the too much shade due to uncontrolled green areas, etc. Therefore, the plan presented in this study largely sought to respect the meaning of historical landscape as a public space and to balance with the contemporary needs. The design strategies derived through basic research are to strengthen the sense of place as a cultural heritage; to respect the ecological characteristics of the site and visual harmony with the surrounding environment; and to suggest spatial programs suitable for the contemporary needs. Based on these strategies, the framework for the entire space is conceptually composed of four spaces; Oewon, Ganjeong, Jujeong, and Huwon, and proposes systematical land use and landscape experience. The main feature of this plan is the landscape approach, which aims to preserve the architectural cultural assets in their original form, but to create a reasonable land use and meaningful landscape experience based on the sense of place.

Comparison of Pure Reinforcement Quantity to Development & Splice Reinforcement Quantity using High-strength Reinforcing Bars (고강도 철근 사용에 따른 순수 철근량에 대한 정착 및 이음 철근량 비교)

  • Whilst it is common to construct high-rise buildings and long-span structures in the construction and building industry, there might be a number of problems such as excessive re-bars arrangement, deterioration of concrete quality, unnecessary quantity take-off and so forth. As these types of buildings and structures are getting more popular, it is widespread to apply high-strength materials such as high-strength concrete and re-bars to sustain durability and stability. This research aims to investigate the effectiveness of the high-strength reinforcing bars on the underground parking in a rigid-frame structure. In this study, the reinforcing bars with different yield strength were applied to corroborate the usefulness and practicability of the high-strength re-bars on the underground parking in a rigid-frame structure. The test results show that the quantity of reinforcement bars is lowered, as the yield strength of the re-bars are grown in general. However, the quantity of reinforcement bars on the development and splice has a tendency to increase slightly. Despite of the increase of the development and splice, the total quantity of reinforcing bars was reduced since the increasing ration of the pure quantity is higher than the development and splice. Base on the test results, it would be possible to achieve the reduction of reinforcing bars arrangement and lowering the amount of work to be done during a construction phase. Moreover, the reduced amount of bar arrangement will make it possible to improve workability and constructability of reinforced concrete structures. Ultimately, we will be able to attain improved quality and efficiency of construction using reinforced concrete.

Evaluation of Spatial Distribution of Secondary Compression of Songdo Marine Clay by Probabilistic Method (확률론적 방법을 이용한 인천송도지반 이차압축침하량의 공간적 분포 평가)

  • Settlement at reclamation area caused by secondary compression should be considered using spatial evaluating method because the thickness of consolidation layer varies at every location. Probabilistic method can be implemented to evaluate uncertainty of spatial distribution of secondary compression. This study spatially evaluated mean and standard deviation of secondary compression in the overall analyzing region using spatial distribution of consolidation thickness estimated by ordinary kriging method and statistical values of soil properties. And then, the area where secondary compression exceeds a design criterion at the specific time was evaluated using probabilistic method. It was observed that the area exceeding the design criterion increased as the variability of $C_{\alpha}/(1+e_o)$ increased or the probabilistic design criterion 0: decreased. It is considered that the probabilistic method can be used for the geotechnical design of soft ground when a probabilistic design criterion is established in the specification.

Development of Smart Safety Sensors to Prevent Falling and Contact Accidents at Construction Sites (건설현장의 추락 및 접촉사고 방지를 위한 스마트 세이프티 센서 개발)

  • According to the Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency's (KOSHA) report on industrial accident statistics over the past four years, the number of casualties at construction sites from 2017 to June 2020 was about 93,158 and the number of deaths was about 1,977, showing a high trend of safety accidents among the eight major occupational groups, with the construction industry ranking third in total and the death rate being the highest in total. Among them, the number of deaths caused by falls in the entire occupational category is about 1,267, the highest rate of deaths due to contact is about 522, which is a frequent safety accident among the top three accident types. This paper aims to help reduce the overall proportion of construction safety accidents by developing smart safety sensing devices using ultrasonic sensors to prevent two types of safety accidents, which have the highest rate of occurrence among various types of safety accidents occurring at construction sites.
