Development of temperature monitoring system for bus duct (부스닥트용 온도감시 시스템 개발)

  • 배전선로에 전력을 공급하는 방식은 일반적으로 22.9kV급 XLPE 케이블에 의한 전력공급이 주를 이루어 왔다. 한편으로 대규모 전력을 소비하는 공장 및 고층 빌딩의 전력 공급에 있어서는 일반적으로 각각 부하로의 많은 회선수의 케이블 포설을 요하는 전력케이블 보다는, 한 선로로 보다 많은 대전류를 수송하면서 부하 가까이에서 필요한 전류를 간편하게 분기해 공급받는 부스덕트 시스템이 시공 및 배전선로 관리의 간편성에 의해 점차 용도가 늘어나고 있다. 부스닥트 시스템의 대부분은 일단 시설물이 건축될 때 건축물의 상부 공간 또는 설비가 위치한 하부 바닥 구간을 통해 설치된 이후, 기타 배관, 가스관 등의 추가적인 건축 구조물과 함께 설치되어 이후 선로의 보수 진단 등이 대부분 어렵게 되어진다. 본 논문에서 소개하는 부스덕트의 온도감시 시스템은 아무리 복잡하고 협소한 설치 환경이라도 특수한 포설 공법에 의해 광화이버를 포설하고, 이를 활용하여 실시간으로 부스덕트 선로의 표면온도와 주변온도를 상시 감시함으로써, 효율적인 부스덕트 선로의 활용뿐만 아니라 과열에 의한 절연사고를 미연 방지하는 운전신뢰성과 안정성을 높이는 것이 가능하게 되었다.

Existential Ideas in Wright's Notion of Nature (라이트의 자연관 속의 실존적 사고)

  • In this study, existential thoughts in Frank Lloyd Wright's notion of nature were investigated. Wright, a modern architect, presented the idea of creating organic architecture in harmony with nature. His naturalistic romanticism is considered to be the original inspiration for his concept of organic architecture. However, his understanding of architecture in harmony with nature stems from existential ideas in his notion of nature, including humanity. The proposed study analyzes his existential beliefs through his speeches and writings in four categories-love of nature, thoughts of abstract and concrete, nature as being intrinsic and "becoming," and thoughts on science and art. Our analyses reveal that, on the one hand, Wright was inspired by thoughts of naturalistic romanticism born from his disillusionment with city life and an urge to seek life in nature, while, on the other, he also believed that real nature is intrinsic to humans and manifests itself in the very core of their being. He sought to unite humanity, as the interior of nature, with its physical environment, as the exterior of nature. His notion of nature is a "becoming" one that changes with time and space, and varies based on individual humans. In line with these thoughts, Wright sought to create forms not only with respect to mathematical dimensions, but also in consideration of human significance. He considered art and architecture to be born out of an integral thought as a process of humanization. To him, nature is interpreted by humans.

Developing the Installation Guideline of Building Monitoring Systems for Hazardous Symptom Measurements with Visual Perception (시지각적 요소를 갖춘 건축물 위험징후 측정 모니터링 시스템 설치 가이드라인 개발연구)

  • Purpose: Recently, structural defects in old safety management facilities have led to the collapse of buildings and facilities. The purpose of this study is to develop guidelines for the installation of regular monitoring systems that determine the optimal sensor location for monitoring exhibition space building sensors equipped with visual elements in order to analyze the risk signs of exhibition space buildings and develop measurement technology. Method: The components, installation locations, alarm criteria, and management measures of the instrument are presented. Result: A measure was proposed to determine the location of sensors, secure signal processing technology for analysis by having unified visual perception, and configure optimal 'risk sign detection' based on sensor monitoring through test-bed operation. Conclusion: The results of this study can be prepared against the disasters that may arise from the collapse of exhibition buildings, and contribute to strengthening safety management capabilities.

A study on quantitative risk assessment for railway Tunnel fire (철도터널에서 차량화재시 정량적 위험도 평가에 관한 연구)

  • As we learned in Daegu subway fire accident, fire in the railway tunnel is prone to develop to large disaster due to the limitation of smoke control and smoke exhaust. In railway tunnel, in order to ensure fire safety, fire prevention and fighting systems are installed by quantitative risk assessment results. Therefore, in this research, developed the program to establish quantitative risk assessment and suggested quantitative safety assessment method including fire scenarios in railway tunnel, fire and evacuation analysis model, fatality estimate model and societal risk criteria. Moreover, this method applys to plan preventing disaster for Honam high speed railway tunnel. As results, we presented the proper distance of escape route and societal risk criteria.

불확정 구조계의 확률유한요소해석

  • 구조물이 안전성을 확보키 위해서는 외력의 불확정성 이외에 실제의 구조물이 해석을 위해 이상화되는 모델과는 다르게 되어 있으므로 구조물의 불확실성을 고려해야 한다. 실제로 유한요소해석시 구조물의 해석모델은 과거의 경험이나 공학적 판단에 기초하여 여러가지 구조물의 불확정성요소에 관계없이 이상화되어 최악의 경우에는 사고에 관계가 없다고 보증할 수 없는 것이다. 더욱이 최근에는 장대교량, 초대형건축물 및 원자력발전소와 같은 중요한 구조물이 증가추세에 있으며 그들의 예기치 못할 사고위험성에 민감하게 느끼고 있는 우리의 현실에 구조물의 불확정성에 관계되는 연구 또는 외력에 대한 경우와 마찬가지로 많은 연구가 필요하리라 생각된다. 본 고는 불확정 구조계의 확률유한요소해석에 관해서 참고문헌[1]을 참조하여 기본개념 및 간단한 예제를 기술하였다.

A Study on the Evolution of Structure-oriented Paradigm in Modern Architecture (구조지향 Paradigm의 근대건축적 전개에 관한 연구)

  • The objective of this study is to examine the specific progress in modern architecture with a premise that structure-oriented paradigm, as a primary factor, exerts a strong impacts on 18th and 19th centuries architecture. For this purpose, the concept and meaning backgrounds of structure-oriented paradigm have been checked also intrinsic thought s and critical aspects of modern architecture with the light of structure-oriented paradigm have been studied, This study summarized as follows: 1) The concept of structure-oriented paradigm in accordance with ideologies and technologies is framework of through which is shared as collective consciousness. 2) The backdrops of this consciousness are scientific methodologies stemmed from Renaissance and Enlightenment spiritual absoluteness claimed by German Idealists developed structural engineering with newly introduced material like iron steel and reinforced concrete. 3) The intrinsic through in architectural theories are rational and technological idelolgies which is derived from the backdrops of structure-oriented paradigm. 4)The critical sapects of modern architecture in structure-oriented paradigm point of view are $\circled1$ material alteration and directive imitation of vocabularies in classical architecture with simply using newly introduced building material and structure systems $\circled2$ morphological substitution with abstractly interpreted materials and structure systems $\circled3$ revolutionary conversion into engineering architecture through maximum consideration in compliance with tectonics capabilities

  • 본 논문에서는 화재 및 재난 발생 시 재난관리솔루션을 활용한 통합방재시스템의 구축에 대한 내용을 서술하고 있다. 크고 작은 재난 관련 사건, 사고들이 끊이지 않고 있고 사건, 사고 발생시 효과적이고 신속한 대응 또한 요구되고 있다. 빠르게 변화하는 세상과 맞물려 건축물들도 과학기술의 발전과 더불어 점점 더 복잡해지는 양상을 보여주고 있으며 재난과 관련된 시설들도 다양화, 밀집화, 고도화 되고 있는 추세이다. 이러한 시설들을 효율적으로 관리하고 제어할 수 있는 솔루션의 필요성이 증가하고 있다. 또한, 이에 따른 위험도가 증가되면서 건축물의 관리자는 다양한 정보처리(소방, CCTV, 출입통제, 침입방지 등), 전문 기술, 관리 능력의 고도화가 요구되고 있다. 화재 및 재난 발생시 중요 역할을 하는 소방시설 및 관련 시설들이 상호 연계 없이 개별적으로 운영 된다면 소화활동 및 피난에 혼란을 주어 피해를 가중 시키게 된다. 따라서 재난 및 비상사태 발생 시, 피해 확산을 감소하기 위해서는 첨단화된 재난관리솔루션인 PSIM을 활용한 통합방재시스템 구축을 통해 화재 및 재난을 예측 예방하고 실시간으로 상황을 파악하여 골든타임을 확보하고 컨트롤타워 역할을 효과적으로 수행하게 해야한다. 재난관리솔루션을 활용하여 효율적인 운영 및 관리함으로써 위험 절감, 사전 계획수립을 통한 신속한 대응, 효율적 연동을 통한 재난대응효과 향상 및 비용절감의 효과가 기대된다.

A Study on the Improvement Direction of the Building Escape Regulation Considering Inconvenient Movers (이동약자를 고려한 건축물 피난규정 개선 방안에 관한 연구)

  • Owing to increase of the large-scaled, high-raised and complexed building construction, the escape design of the building became very important issue to insure the safety of occupant. Specially, it is demanded to have building escape regulation considering for inconvenient movers such as disables elders pregnant women. However, building regulations for inconvenient movers are divided into "Regulation of Escape and Fire-prevention of Building" and "Act on the Promotion and Guarantee of Access for the Disabled, the Aged and Pregnant Women to Facilities and Information". But, for the escape security of inconvenient movers, the connection of each regulation are necessary. So this study suggested the improvement direction of the building escape regulation considering inconvenient movers through the compared analysis on the "Regulation of Escape and Fire-prevention of Building" and "Act on the Promotion and Guarantee of Access for the Disabled, the Aged and Pregnant Women to Facilities and Information".

Current Status and Analysis of Durability for Buildings Long Neglected after Construction Discontinuation in Jeju (제주지역 공사중단 건축물의 현황조사 및 내구성 분석)

  • Buildings that have been long neglected can suffer severe durability reduction due to factors such as rebar rust and concrete quality deterioration resulting from exposure to outside air. Furthermore, the issues associated with these suspended buildings, including safety accidents, social crimes, and environmental pollution, are becoming increasingly serious. This study investigates the current status of these buildings in the Jeju area, identifies the problems, and examines the durability of the structure in a specific location to assess the possibility of future use. Aesthetic surveys(visual and slope inspections) as well as non-destructive tests(compressive strength tests, neutralization tests, and rebar detection tests) were conducted to assess durability. The analysis revealed that the structure maintained satisfactory durability and the building's condition was good in comparison to the years of neglect.
